Captain Kaimu Osame of The Silent Star

Osame was raised by pirates, so she’s very used to not having to interact with very many people, except the close group around her that she captains. She is autistic, so social interaction is hard for her. She is very blunt and takes certain things too literally the first few times she hears a saying. ‘Take your seats’ or ‘shotgun’ are examples of sayings that she would have taken too literally. When they go on reconnaissance missions, Rue or Ronan are usually the first ones to volunteer to speak with the clients/suspects/whoever so that Osame doesn’t need to worry about filtering herself.

When she was 20, Osame decided that she wanted to be the captain of her own ship, and departed from her family to do so. She acquired her own crew and set off. She eventually got into the business of contracting, which is how she found Areli. One of her contacts had given Osame his name in exchange for keeping them updated on the man. So, Areli was taken into the crew and Osame gave E, her mysterious contact, updates every few weeks.
