Mmm..
Tatum took a deep breath as she stood next to her father. Today was the day of her wedding and to say she was nervous was an understatement. “Daddy what if I trip?” Her father glanced at her with a look of amusement before shaking his head. “Baby girl, you’ll be fine. I got you. There’s no need to worry. I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen.” Tatum took her bouquet with slightly shaky hands and nodded. Tatum watched as Majesty left with her basket of flowers as the music started. After a few moments, Tatum and her father began their walk to the alter. She kept her eyes forward as she took the rhythmic steps. Her eyes landed on @messiahtaughther and she smiled; she’d never seen him in a tux before and he looked absolutely handsome.
“You’re just going all out. Do I get to change out of my dress first? I know the plane ride is going to be long.”
“Yes and yes. I ain’t riding in no stuffy plane in this tux. My nuts are being smothered. I only did this for you.” He cheeses as Majesty runs up behind him. “I’m already to go daddy!” She squeals, as he sits you on your feet. Picking her up and kissing her. “Now you gotta tell mommy bye, and we’ll see you when we get back.”
“That’s because you only wear sweats and basketball shorts at home.” She chuckled as he set her down. Majesty frowned a little at the mention of them leaving. “I wanna go..” Tatum kissed Majesty’s cheek. “Now if you go, you’re gonna leave grandma all by herself and you know she likes playing princess with you. Plus I heard something about you getting a new crown? Hmm? I don’t know..” Majesty’s eyes lit up and she smiled. “Nevermind! I wanna go with grandma!” Tatum laughed and kissed her daughter’s cheek again. “We’ll see you when we get back. I’ll have a gift for you too.” “Okay mommy!”

“See Nah. I got plans. We’re about to catch a flight. They can party.”
“Well excuse me. Now I want to know what these plans are. Lead the way, husband.”
He chuckles, “I’ve been your husband.”
“Oh I know. It just feels more official after all of this. So are we headed to Japan?”

Messiah face grew into a huge smile, he couldn’t help that his heart was racing with every step she taken it would thud a little harder. His face turning slightly red.
Once she reached him, her father gave her a smile. He placed her her hand into Messiah’s, signifying his trust with her daughter. Tatum took Messiah’s hands as their pastor began.
“Messiah and Tatum, today you are surrounded by your friends and family, all of whom have gathered here to witness your marriage and to share in the joy of this special occasion. Today, as you join yourselves in marriage, there is a vast and unknown future stretching out before you. The possibilities and potentials of your married life are great; and now falls upon your shoulders the task of choosing your values and making real your dreams. Through your commitment to each other, may you grow and nurture a love that makes both of you better people, a love that continues to give you great joy, and also a passion for living that provides you with energy and patience to face the responsibilities of life.”
Messiah can’t help himself as he leans in and kiss your forehead. “You look so beautiful baby. Honestly,
I thought Maj dress was pretty. I can’t wait to help you out of it.” He whispers as the pastor continues his sermon.
Tatum smiled as his lips pressed against her forehead. She listened to him as she whispered in her ear, a flush coming to her cheeks when he finished speaking.
“Messiah and Tatum, seek from within yourselves
The serenity to accept the things you cannot change
The courage to change the things that you must
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Live each day, one day at a time
Enjoying your time together, one moment at a time
Seek the wisdom of experience
Learning all that you can from each other
Accept hardships as the building blocks of experience
Realizing that accepting both the good and bad
Are simply a part of being alive
Strive to make as many things right
As is humanly possible in your life together
That you may be reasonably happy
In the life you share from this day forward.”
Messiah stood there getting antsy, taking your hand in his as he listened on.
“You May now speak your vows.”
“Messiah when we met, I can admit that we weren’t too excited about it considering the marriage law. In fact, we constantly fought.” She chuckled and shook her head. “No matter how bad our fights and arguments were, I knew there would be no one else for me but you. There was a time in my life that I would never find someone that cared about me. I felt so low and I was hurting. God must’ve felt my pain because he sent me you. I can admit the original way we met was a little untraditional,” her gaze shifting to Majesty then back to him, “but I’m thankful that he set our relationship in motion. As I spent more time with you, I learned that you are loving, you are caring, and you would do anything to keep your family safe. I’m lucky that I get to call myself your wife. I can’t wait to have all your children, experience life, and spend forever with you. I love you so much.”
Messiah kisses your hands, “Tatum Harvey. I’ve been up and down but mostly up since I met you. I haven’t been my happiest since I’ve met you and you gave me our wonderful daughter. I want to love you for the rest of my life. At first I couldn’t see it but since we’ve been together. I’ve learned so much about me, because of you. I’ve faced a lot of my demons because of you, and I’m happy that I’ve found you. That we found each other. I love you and I will love you till I take my last breathe.”
“Wedding rings are made precious by our wearing them. Your rings say that even in your uniqueness you have chosen to be bound together. Let these rings also be a sign that love has substance as well as soul, a present as well as a past, and that, despite its occasional sorrows, love is a circle of happiness, wonder, and delight. May these rings remind you always of the vows you have taken here today. May we have the rings?”
Tatum took the ring from her sister and smiled, preparing to place it on Messiah’s finger.
“Repeat after me: I, Tatum, promise you, Messiah, that I will be your wife from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together from this day til forever done.“
“I, Tatum, promise you, Messiah, that I will be your wife from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together from this day til forever done.” Tatum placed the ring on Messiah’s finger.
“Now Messiah. I, Messiah, promise you, Tatum, that I will be your husband from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together from this day til forever done.“
Messiah took a deep breathe his face turning completely red as he taken his ring from his baby sister. Taking your hand and gently placing the ring had gotten for you on your wedding finger. He started to repeat the words, “I, Messiah, promise you, Tatum, that I will be your husband from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together from this day til forever done.”
“And now, by the power vested in me by the State of California, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.”
Without a second thought, Tatum wrapped her arms around Messiah’s neck and quickly pulled him into a tender kiss, making the audience chuckle.
He quickly picked her up, deepening the kiss as he spins her around.
The audience erupts in cheers as they look on. Tatum pulled away slowly, smiling with adoration before pecking his lips.
“Family and Friends, I present to you, for the first time, Mr and Mrs Messiah Javier Weston.”
Tatum took a deep breath as she stood next to her father.
