Absolutely loving the new ‘A Woman of Substance’ & ‘The Other Bennet Sister’ series. A little bias towards AWoS considering some of it was filmed in a building I often work in, where I secretly saw the set, and the final result looks absolutely stunning. But both are fantastic dramas on TV right now. Give them a watch if you like that sort of thing, or a read as they’re both book adaptations!

Pound to a penny that’s what will happen. S4 tanked, so they’ll write it off as a “ha we fooled you, we’re so clever” thing while we’re all fucking rocking on the floor surrounded by dusty funkos and moth-eaten deerstalkers
imagine it. sherlock returns in 2026. the baby is gone. what baby? the baby never existed. all the conspirators are vindicated. sherlock and john fuck nasty and the skull with glowing eyes on the wall watches. mystrade is canon. there is never any mention of his sister again and we still don’t know if sherlock’s best friend was a boy or a dog and at this point everyone is too afraid to ask.

WALLACE & GROMIT: VENGEANCE MOST FOWL
Feathers McGraw is BACK in Aardman’s new feature-length film in the Wallace & Gromit franchise. The iconic bird villain was last seen 30 years ago in the 1993 Wallace & Gromit film ‘The Wrong Trousers’ - which Aardman have been celebrating with many limited edition collaborations and releases - but his return was recently hinted at in a background cameo of the Chicken Run sequel ‘Dawn of the Nugget’.
‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ is directed by Nick Park, with the screenplay by Mark Burton (Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Early Man, Shaun the Sheep, Madagascar). It will star Ben Whitehead as the voice of Wallace, alongside Peter Kay as returning ‘Were-Rabbit’ character Albert Mackintosh, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Sir Lenny Henry.
The 70 minute film will first debut on BBC One & iPlayer this Christmas (2024) before getting a worldwide release on Netflix at a later date.
