Summary: After running into Negan in the woods. You agree to go on a spontaneous date with him, ending up at a location only Negan knows about. Will you get the answers you’re looking for while resisting his devilish charm?

All you could hear was the engine running and nothing else. You thought it was a little awkward for Negan to not say a word but maybe he was nervous right now too. Finally the awkward silence was broken by Negan saying, “ Almost there sweetheart...just a few more miles.” Negan squeezed your hand as if he never left you, just like the good ol’ days. But, you quickly removed your hand and placed it in your lap. Negan chuckled. “ Playing hard to get...just how I like it.” He then placed his eyes back on the abandoned road. Even though it’s been years since the world went to shit it was still weird seeing rodes with nothing on it. No cars, no roadkill, and no sign of life.

The car was slowing down as Negan drifted off the road into what looked like a driveway. You were stunned at the incredibly cute beach house in front of you.

“ Oh my god, Negan you remembered.. ” you looked at him with glee.

“ Darlin’ I knew you would like it.” He said as he got out of the car.

In this very moment you finally saw the old Negan. The Negan that saved you from that heard, the Negan who stood by you for what felt like forever, and the Negan you feel in love with and truly missed. And the Negan that remembered all those stories about your family and how you loved going to the beach. You even made a pact with him that if you were to ever find a beach house you and him would live there for the rest of your days. If only the people in Alexandria could see this side of him you wouldn’t have to choose who’s side you were on.

Negan interrupted your thoughts by saying, “ Whatcha waitin’ for let’s go in!”

You smiled and raced Negan to the door, “ I win!” You proudly boasted.

“ Nope I declare a rematch, I was distracted by your perky ass.” Negan stated as he leaned in for a kiss. You quickly opened the door avoiding his kiss, even though every fiber of your body wanted to kiss the handsome man you needed to set new rules when it came to Negan. Rule #1- Don’t fall for his dimple filled smile, Rule #2- whatever he does don’t kiss/sleep with him, and rule #3- try to convince him Alexandria is a great place to live so that eventually you can throw out rules 1 & 2!

After you agreed with yourself about the “Negan Rules” you let yourself explore the house. As you walked around, you could see this place was once a great vacation spot for a family. With 3 bedrooms, a huge kitchen, and a nice living room you instantly fell in love and could see yourself and Jax leaving Alexandria for this. With weekly contact of course because Aaron would hate you if you just left with no reason to come back. But, you also saw Negan here with you and Jax, and maybe another little munchkin or two. “God, why did he have to be the villain.” You thought to your self. Luckily the decorations on the wall got your attention and as if the universe was talking to you, your eyes landed on a sign that said, “ Life’s a beach!”. “ Ain’t that the truth!” you laughed out loud.

Negan soon caught your attention and said, “ (y/n) you haven’t even seen the best part of the house.” Negan grabbed your hand and rushed you down the hallway out the back door. In front of you you saw an amazing porch that you only saw in those Home & Garden magazines or on the HGTV Network. This porch had an amazing entertainment place with a bonfire, chairs, a bbq pit and in the corner it even had a juccuzzi which probably didn’t work, but still it was absolutely incredible. “Incredible, isn’t it?” Negan asked and you nodded your head in agreement. “ I found this place a while back, it actually saved me from some ugly ass walkers looking for something to eat.” You could tell Negan was nervous cause he kept babbling, which made you blush thinking you could still make him so nervous. “ Anyways, I decided for this place to be my secret getaway so I’ve been somewhat cleaning up the place hoping one day you would be here too!” Negan got closer to you but you were able to redirect his attention to the fire pit.

As the evening went on you and Negan sat by the fire pit sharing stories from when you both were younger and eventually Negan kept his promise and made you dinner which to your surprise was, rabbit stew. “Wow you can make something else beside spaghetti?” You teased Negan.

“ A mans got to survive somehow, darlin’.” Negan replied and he could tell you were getting colder so he offered you his jacket. You tried to refuse but Negan insisted and besides you were cold so you aren’t technically breaking your “Negan rules”. Negan did, however scoot closer to you for warmth.

Trying to kill the romance in the air, you commented to him, “ Can I just say this stew is amazing your chef will have to give me the recipe.”

“ This maybe hard to believe doll face but your looking at him.” Negan grinned and continued to say, “ but I’ll only give you the recipe if you tell me a little more about our boy...”

Speaking of Jax you were thankful you and the Wilsons made an agreement if it gets late than Jax will just spend the night. This came into play when you were on a supply run with Daryl and the two of you were trapped by walkers having to wait it out ‘til morning.

Refocusing on Negan’s question you answered, “ Well, he is very cute probably the cutest baby I’ve ever seen. But I’ve got to say he does take after his daddy because he gets all the ladies wanting his attention.”

“That’s my boy!” Negan proudly cheered.

You continued to say, “ Jax loves the color green, seems to like Disney movies his favorite being 101 Dalmatians, he has a best friend named spot, which is his stuffed dog, and he loves Cheerios. Let’s see what else....” you saw Negan smile at the thought of Jax and his favorite things which gave you another thought, “ also Jax has the cutest smile with dimples just like you. He’s definitely helped me get through the days I missed you the most because one look at his face and I could picture you right there with me.” Your eyes started to water making Negan get up to give you one of his famous bear hugs. “Shit!” You thought to yourself, “ remember the rules, stupid.” So to avert the situation you suggested to take this “date” inside for you were cold and it was getting darker, Negan agreed with you and to make sure you wouldn’t break any more rules, you sat your perky ass on the couch. Patiently, waiting for Negan to put out the fire pit and come inside.

When Negan walks into the living room you started to laugh because he had placed old glasses on his face making him look older than he was.

Negan then said, “ There’s that laugh I’ve been missing....but seriously do I look...like a college scholar?”

You contined laughing and replied, “ Oh Negan...let’s just hope you never need glasses in the future.”

Negan gasped as if he was hurt but then he threw down the glasses and plopped on the love seat next to you. His hazel eyes just yearning for your touch you just smiled at him and said, “ I have a question for you.”

Negan looked at you and replied, “ Shoot, I’m an open book sweetheart.”

This was your chance to ask Negan about the Saviors and Alexandria and all this shit that’s currently tearing you apart on the inside so you asked, “ What happened after you left me that night at the R.V?”

“Gosh damnit, out of all the questions I could have asked I ask this one...curse those hazel eyes getting me off track!” You thought to yourself.

Negan’s booming voice interrupted your internal conversation, “ Well...when I went back everything was on fire the hotel the cars, it was as if that group had no souls.” You could tell Negan was getting upset but he continued and said, “ not to get into the gross details but it was pretty horrific (y/n). Once I got there I started killing those bastards left and right. I just prayed they wouldn’t find you. After the bloodshed I found out that group was called “wolves” thats why they had the Ws on their heads.”

You squeezed Negan’s hand but you had to know one more thing, “ How many people from our community survived?”

Negan took a few minutes before he answered, “About 5, me, Simon, Fat Joey, Tiffany, and Mandy’s dad.” You started to burst into tears realizing that your favorite student Mandy didn’t survive, hell none of the children did. “This is why (y/n), this is why I’ve changed. Nowadays it’s better to be the leader than the follower because there is messed up people in this world and I’m not talking just about the dead. I honestly think the living is more dangerous nowadays because people will do anything to survive. ”

This was the perfect opportunity to let Negan know about how Alexandria is different but he already seemed defeated so you thought maybe tomorrow you can bring up you POV. But for now all you could think to do was embrace Negan letting him know everything is going to be okay.

“ Darlin’, and I spent days looking for you and when I finally saw that picture of you and I in your house I about jumped for joy!”

You smiled at him and said, “ So that’s why none of my things were taken...Hey, but then who took my dvds?”

“ Not I but I’ll get them back because I think I know who did and he’s a total ass..enough of this sad chick flick stuff, let’s play a game...who do you think lived here before the walkers came? Ready and go...” Negan quickly stated while pointing to you as if you were on a game show.

“ Oh shit.... Okay.... Well, I think it was a family of 5. I say the dad was a contractor who refurbished the house and then the mom was a teacher and they had 3 wonderful kids. Who eventually grew up and then the couple retired here having there grandkids visit.” You looked at Negan waiting for his answer.

“ I like that idea, but I think your wrong...” you gasped at Negan’s comment when he continued, “ from the looks of this house I’m pretty sure it’s worth a pretty penny so no way a couple could afford this place on a teacher salary and contractors .”

“ Fine then Mr. Smartypants, what do you think?”

“ Pretty sure the guy who owns this place was a porn star or director or both.” You looked at Negan and the both of you started to laugh at his comment. Negan waved his hand trying to settle down and said, “ the reason why I think so is because when I first went to the back left bedroom it had an ass load of porn movies directed by the same person and there was a camera and many costumes back there from those movies. Don’t worry I threw everything out....well except for one outfit.” Negan wiggled his eyebrows at you and grinned.

Negan convinced you about his theory but you replied, “ Fine but I still like my love story better and I hope that outfit fits you cause no way in hell am I gonna wear that nasty thing it has STD written all over it!” After a few more stories and laughs you were seriously holding it together to not kiss this man.

“It’s getting pretty late do you want me to take you home? I’m sure our baby boy is missing seeing his momma. ” Negan stated.

“ No it’s okay Jax is most likely asleep anyways and I have this deal with the Wilsons about watching Jax over night, so he’ll be fine before morning. Unless you gotta be somewhere.”

That’s when Negan got within kissing distance from you and said, “ This is where I want to be.” Out of nowhere you finally initiated the kiss. Screw your stupid rules you thought, so that’s exactly what you did.This was the Negan you longed for all those years.

So you finally gave in and that was literally the best kiss you ever had. As you come up for air you read a sign on the wall that had said, The best things are worth waiting for! , with a picture of a surfer enjoying a wave. And that’s exactly what you where doing at this exact moment enjoying the ride.

Negan stopped the kiss and sweetly told you, “ Now I know things have changed, hell even I have a bit but (y/n) one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for you!” You two continued kissing when eventually the kiss lead to more and sooner than later Negan carried you to his bed and the rest was history.

Instead of chasing Rick, trying to explain your relationship with Negan, you decided you needed to get your thoughts together. So you took a walk around Alexandria making Jax fall asleep on your chest. In addition it gave you the courage you needed to finally tell Rick everything about your relationship with Negan and hopefully in the process mend your friendship. As you walk up to Rick’s house with Jax sleeping peacefully in the baby carrier, you saw Aaron waiting on the porch. Just before you motioned to Aaron you saw Rick come outside. “ Well it’s now or never..,” you thought to yourself as you slowly walk toward Rick and Aaron.

“ Hey guys...” you awkwardly stated but Rick walked passed you as if you were invisible, thankfully, Aaron acknowledged your presence and said, “ hey ( y/n) let’s talk later...umm we’ve gotta go somewhere right now...”.

“ Ya’know if you guys just give me like two minutes I can drop Jax off at the Wilsons and I can tag-a-long just like old times!” You cheerfully said but obviously your charm didn’t rub off because Rick still looked pissed. That’s when Aaron calmly replied, “maybe next time...” and then they were gone.

You felt like complete shit, but instead of going home and crying you had another idea. So, you walked over to the Wilson’s and decided to drop off Jax praying they were still on your side. You were nervous at first wondering if they knew about you and Negan but you placed that thought in the back of your mind and knocked on their front door.

As the door began to open you were greeted by Mrs. Wilson, “ Why isn’t it my two favorite people in the world!” She gave you a hug feeling all the stress from the day simply go away. She gestured you into her home and then you asked, “Hey Judy, I know this is last minute but can you watch Jax for a little bit? I need to help Rick on a supply run.” As you were waiting for her answer you noticed none of the Wilson’s things were taken by the Saviors earlier today.

Judy answered your question snapping you out of your thoughts, “ I would love to watch this lil’ one and luckily those people didn’t take away any of our things so you can lay him in our bed upstairs until he wakes. I’ll make sure to turn on the baby monitor.”

“ Wait you’re saying they didn’t even take your medicine, that’s like gold nowadays?” You asked trying to piece together Negan’s plan.

Mrs. Wilson smiles and said, “ Well (y/n) when we were in the basement I just prayed for protection and I think..no I KNOW the lord answered. I mean we still haven’t gone through everything yet but as far as I know they didn’t take a single thing. What about you (y/n)? Did they take anything from your house?” Mrs. Wilson seemed concerned.

“ ummm,” you weren’t sure how to answer you wanted to be honest and say “nope cause the leader is my sons father and my thought-to-be- dead fiancé” but you thought short and sweet would be better so you answered, “ nope my house wasn’t ransacked either.”

Judy smiled with relief and that’s when you headed to her room and placed Jax in the middle of their bed. “ see you later sweet boy, I’ll be back soon I promise.” You whispered to Jax as you kissed his chubby cheek.

Returning downstairs you thanked Judy once more and then left. Knowing Jax was safe you tried to figure out how you were going to leave without anyone noticing you. You remembered a secret tunnel but then you thought that maybe it is too risky with walkers around. Finally, you decided the easiest way was to climb the fence hell you’ve seen Enid do it plenty of times before Rick’s crew came to Alexandria.

Before you left you packed a backpack of supplies and climbed the fence from your backyard. As soon as you were at the top of the fence you saw Carl and Enid climbing too. “ I guess I wasn’t the only one Rick didn’t want help from.” You laughed quickly climbing down to the other side.

Walking through the forest reminded you of the walks you and Negan would take just to get away from everyone’s bullshit at the hotel. You especially looked forward to them when you had a shitty day. You smiled remembering the conversations you had with Negan, and you even remembered the baby name conversation that took place in the woods.

“ What about Kelly for a girl and Matthew for a boy’.” Negan sweetly said while holding your hand.

“ I like them but I knew a Kelly in high school and she was a major bitch and Matthew... I have a crazy cousin with that name.” You shyly grinned.

Negan looked a bit down but then you continued to say, “ why are we even talking about this cause you do realize I’m not pregnant.”

Negan grinned as if he knew something you didn’t but before questioning him he answered, “ its better to be prepared then not, sweetheart, cause you never know what may happen. Besides I think you’ll be an awesome mom!”

You laughed at the handsome man and just smiled knowing how your own mom said the same thing to you years ago and how she could see you being a mom. A tear started to fall down your face thankfully Negan interrupted your thoughts by saying, “what about Jax...it’s kinda of a combination between Jack , which was your dads name and Jackson, cause I always love that song by Johnny Cash. In addition it sounds pretty badass to me!”

You agreed with Negan as he pulled you in for a quick kiss. Then you said, “ as long as I have dibs on the girl names...”

Negan replied, “ Darlin’ you can have dibs on whatever you want.” Negan playfully grabbed your waist and brought you in for a long passionate kiss.

Coming back to reality, as you were approaching the road you heard a car coming. So you quickly hid behind a tree stump. Minutes later you heard the car stop and someone got out slamming the car door behind them. Your heart was beating fast praying they didn’t see you when the stranger finally said, “ I don’t know why you are hiding cause I can spot your sweet ass miles away, Princess.”

After realizing it was Negan you quickly got up and brushed yourself off making your way toward the handsome devil. “ now tell me (y/n), why on earth would you leave Alexandria when you couldn’t decide just hours ago on whether to leave Rick the pricks community or not. Let me guess, are you lookin’ for a good time just like the old days cause darlin’ I sure am.” Negan licked his lips while staring you up and down. “If only he knew how that look made you really feel”, you thought.

That’s when Negan tried to kiss you and as much as you wanted to your instincts kicked into gear squirming your way out of his embrace.

“ Negan, no, I came to talk with you about the future...” before you could finish your sentence Negan inturupted you, “well, sweetheart, if you want more kids you better stop resisting me.”

You laughed, “ Negan, please I’m serious we need to talk about our communities future for Jax’s sake.”

Negan shook his head and replied, “ You know if Ricky would just obliged by Santuary rules..” he stopped realizing you probably had another suggestion so he then said, “you know what, fine I’ll hear you out on one condition...”

You stated to him, “Let me guess force Jax and I to leave Alexandria ...or maybe have sex with you...”

Negan liked where you were going but like he said when he first meet you if you didn’t want to do something he wouldn’t force you. So he shook his head and said, “ let me take you on one date... right now...”

You were stunned at his request and wanted to resist but if this is how he will listen what’s the harm of one silly date you thought. You agreed and said, “ right now, where would we go the sun is almost down.” Negan grabbed your hand and said, trust me sweetheart I’ve been waiting to show you this place for a long time now.”

Just like that you were in Negan’s car riding off into the sunset. Trying to remind yourself, “don’t fall for him again (y/n) because remember he is the villain now not the knight that once saved you years ago.”

You’ve dreamt about reuniting with Negan for what felt like eternity, and as he was kissing you, you couldn’t help but melt into his masculine body. Suddenly you pushed him off remembering he wasn’t the same Negan you fell in love with. He was now some kind of stranger killing people you cared most about.

“ What’s wrong darlin’, ya ready to take this upstairs?” Negan playfully grinned.

As he leans in to kiss you once more, you mindlessly slapped him hoping this demented spirit will give you back the Negan you once knew. Negan looked stunned at what you did, but before he could respond you had a chance to say, “how could you kill Glenn and Abraham did you not think about their families...and what about Olivia...why are you threatening to kill her over a stupid gun? Ugh, what happened to you?”

Negan expected your questions and hell he even expected that slap in the face. So after rubbing his cheek Negan replied to you with intensity in his voice saying, “ Well, well, I guess Rick-y here must not have told you the whole fuckin’ story! Because before I gave Gingy and Glenn the chance to encounter Lucille... you may recall Rick and his people killing my men first and what about their families (y/n), they didn’t think twice before they went all ape shit on their asses!”

You remembered that day, wanting to help out but Daryl insisted you stay in case the unthinkable were to happen. Negan brought you back out of your thoughts stating, “and for that fat chick, Rick needs to know there will be consequences if things don’t get done. If anyone should be able to understand my madness it should be you. Cause it wasn’t too long ago that you accepted the things I did (y/n) to protect MY community...to protect MY people...to protect YOU!”

That’s when your eyes started to water thinking of all the shit that’s happened to you over the years and at one point you would kill anything...hell anyone... to protect yourself and the people you loved. You hated to admit it because it felt wrong, but Negan was right. Unfortunately, this still didn’t answer the question on why he takes things from other communities as if he was proclaimed king. But, just as you were going to ask you heard Jax cry over the baby monitor, you looked at Negan waiting for a reaction.

“Well shit am I imagining things or is that a baby I hear ( y/n)?” Negan grinned while looking up the stairs.

You weren’t sure how to answer Negan’s question so you just froze and looked at his handsome mug. Now, there was a time when you first found out that all you wanted to do was let Negan know. But now with the situation of Negan being the villain in your story, you weren’t sure on what to do. On one hand he had a right to know but then on the other what if he makes you leave Alexandria and go live with him, making Rick and the others hate you for choosing the “dark side” over them.

After staring at Negan he smirked and said, “ Well shit I’ll go see for myself!” That’s when Negan headed up the stairs straight toward Jax. As you came to the room you overheard Negan talking to your crying baby. “ Hey there big guy...did you have a bad dream..” Which made your heart skip a beat knowing Jax was finally getting to meet his dad.

Once you opened the door you saw Negan holding Jax in the rocking chair and with every rock Jax’s tears started to go away. In this very moment your love for Negan became stronger. As you stood in the doorway you just thought to yourself, “ Man, he plays the DILF roll extremely well..” that’s when you felt your panties start to moisten.

So to refocus your thoughts back to Negan being enemy numero uno you praised Negan, “Impressive! Usually he doesn’t settle down for strangers so fast. Hell, it took me weeks before I was able to settle him down as fast as you just did.”

“I do have a way with kids but he probably feels safe knowin’ you’re here keepin’ watch.” Just as you were gonna tell Negan that Jax was his he continued to say, “Ya know darlin’ I’ve dreamt about meeting our baby for months now and I think that’s what’s kept me alive. Well in addition to my crazy sex dreams featuring his momma!” Negan winked at you causing you to blush.

You grinned then replied, “Wait! how do you know your his father? I haven’t said anything yet. And I wasn’t showing before we got separated and besides I could have change too and became a slut or something sleeping with every guy out here!”

Negan chuckled at your comment stating, “ my fuckin’ bad doll face, but I knew you were preggers before even you did...” You were stunned at Negan’s remark but he continued to say, “ ya know right before we got separated, your mood swings drastically changed, from being sad one minute to jump in’ my bones the next, and hell I thought you were going through PMS or some shit...but than I noticed your tits getting bigger.” You rolled your eyes at Negan because only he would notice someone’s breasts getting bigger by the day. But at least he was talking about you, and oddly you do remember your bras not fitting perfectly back then, so he did have a logical point.

You interupted Negan, “ Okay...hold up...if you had a feeling why didn’t you clue me in...or make me go to Dr. Carson?”

Negan looked irritated at your comment, making him believe you didn’t think he cared about you then he said, “ you didn’t let me finish...I made an appointment with the doc the day after I was gonna propose to you...but then all that shit happened...and I looked so hard for you (y/n) and when I came across the RV you were gone....”

Your heartached seeing how defeated Negan looked. All you could think to do was to comfort him, but you didn’t want him to think you accepted his new role so you resisted the urge and replied, “believe it or not...I waited in that RV for what felt like eternity but you never showed and I almost gave up...until Aaron found me of course and brought me here.” Negan looked envious hearing another man’s name come out of your mouth. You clarified your previous statement saying, “hey don’t be so jealous Aaron is my best friend but he also has a boyfriend.”

Negan seemed relieved and then got up placing Jax back in his crib. Negan quietly made his way over to you and whispered “ well shit I thought I was gonna beat someone’s ass for taking my woman. But I’m glad you are safe sweetheart. And can I just say you are one fine MILF..” Negan smiles as he embraced you grabbing your ass ,making you weak in the knees.

You forgot about his hugs and wanted to stay there forever but then there was a knock at the door. You and Negan looked out the bedroom window and saw some saviors at your front door. “ Well that’s my cue, grab our boy and let’s go.”

Just as Negan was headed downstairs you grabbed his hand, “ Wait Negan, I just can’t up and leave...”

Negan turned to you and looked confused, “ Of course you can, don’t you wanna be with me... I know I’ve changed but trust me doll I’m still the man you fell in love with...I’ve just gotten more badass.”

You hesitated on what to do because even though you’ve been waiting to be with Negan, you owed your life to Alexandria because if they didn’t take you in who knows if you would be here today. And if you leave will they assume you were in contact with the saviors this whole time making them hate you for eternity.

All you could think to do was to stay, so you told Negan, “just give me a few days, I need to let people here know why I’m leaving and pack up some things...besides unlike you Negan, I’ve known these people for sometime and can’t just leave without saying goodbye. Because believe it or not these are good people!”

Negan brushes your suggestion off like he didn’t care, but you knew staying here would hurt him deep down. “ Whatever (y/n), stay here just know I’m not giving up on you that easily.” As you watched the man you loved leave, you prayed that these next few days will somehow give you an idea on how to bring your old life and new life together, without having to choose.

A few minutes later you decided to go find Rick and tell him everything about your past with Negan. So you put Jax in the baby carry and strapped him on your chest. You jokingly told Jax, “ okay sweet boy now don’t be spilling the beans that Negan is really your daddy.” Jax just mumbled sweet baby noises as you held him. Once you spotted Rick you noticed he was with Negan, so you walked closer in order to hear what they were saying.

“Well would you look at that they were here after all. Funny how a little, holy shit somebody’s gonna die, lights a fire under everybody’s ass.” Negan chuckled as Rick hands him the last of the guns.

You noticed Olivia crying so you went up to her trying to comfort her. Negan saw your action and smiled at you before saying, “Tell me Rick, which one of your fine folks almost cost Olivia her life.”

Rick grumbled, “Doesn’t matter anymore.”

Negan bellowed, “No it does matter cause you need to get everyone on board...everybody. Or we just go right back to square one.” Negan swung his arms as if using Lucille once again reminding Rick of that dreadful day.

Rick nodded in agreement and you thought he was done until Negan pointed at you and proclaimed to anyone who could hear, “ Especially this one right here...cause I’ve got big plans for her...maybe have a couple MORE kids with this pretty lady, cause if y’all haven’t noticed we do make fuckin’ cute ass babies!”

You felt everyone’s eyes on you and Jax and all you thought was, “ what the fuck is he doing...I wanted to be the one to let them know about us ..son of a bitch!” . As you looked around you could tell everyone blew off his comment but it seemed like Rick got the hint. Finally Negan, Rick, and the Saviors headed for the gate.

That’s when Olivia turned to you and said, “ I know this might sound weird but I would have to agree with that ass hat...you and him would make cute babies (y/n). I mean just look at Jax-y here, he is cute even without Negan’s demented DNA.”

You giggled looking at Jax and said, “ Ya, imagine that.” After you saw the saviors leave you had to let someone know your secret but then thought it would be best to just walk it off. As you were making your way around the community. You heard someone calling your name. Turning around Rick was headed toward you waving you down. You waved and waited for the courageous leader, “ Hey Rick, everything okay?”

Rick responded with a pressing voice, “ I don’t know anymore (y/n), is it? He told me to give this to his wife, so that his boy won’t forget what he looks like when he comes for you.” That’s when he handed you the Polaroid picture of you and Negan in front of the hotel, that you thought was still on your nightstand. “ Rick I can explain...” Rick turned and left you without saying another word. You knew Rick was upset, hell even devastated, thinking he lost yet another person to Negan. But that didn’t compare to how pissed you were and maybe this was the sign you needed, in deciding which side of this war you were on.

“Jax, time to get up sweet boy.” You told your sleepy baby. Jax slowly opened his hazel eyes and smiled showing off his dimples, reminding you of his father, making your heart ache for Negan. Then he simply reached out for you wanting you to take him. “Why good morning sleepyhead, ready for some breakfast.” Jax smiled at you, once you picked him up he gently placed his head on your shoulder trying to stay awake.

As you sat Jax in his high chair, you quickly grabbed a handful of Cheerios and a bottle placing them on his tray. Then, just like every other day, you started to brew your morning coffee and as you waited ,you opened up all the downstairs curtains in order to let some natural light fill your house. As you begin to open the last curtain you notice some trucks entering Alexandria, “What the hell is this?” You thought out loud. Observing the commotion outside you could tell it was probably the saviors Rick and the others encountered. You weren’t able to see much but you did see Rick talking to someone maybe their dick of a leader, but they parked a truck in your eyesight making it hard to see. Thankfully the “saviors” you were able to see didn’t look familiar giving you hope this was not your old community.

All of a sudden you noticed the saviors entering houses a few doors down, which made you sense something bad might happen. So you decided the only way to keep Jax safe is to take him to the Wilsons. for they have a secret basement hidden behind a bookcase. “Okay Jax looks like breakfast is ending a bit early for mommy needs to go to work  now.” The baby just smiled and followed along to whatever you wanted. “How did I get so lucky to have such a good baby, Jax!” You cooed at him kissing him on the head. Finally, you quickly got dressed and packed up Jax’s backpack and quickly rushed over to the Wilsons.

“Hey (y/n) you’re early today.” Mr. Wilson commented.

“ Hey Tom, sorry it’s just that group is here and I figured Jax would be safer with you guys in the basement.” You said while quickly closing the door behind you.

Mr. Wilson peeked outside noticing the same thing you did and replied, “ Thanks for the heads up, Judy and I were so focused on trying to figure out this damn crossword that we didn’t even notice those trucks outside.” That's when Judy, Mrs. Wilson came in, once you got the two of them up to speed on what’s happening they were glad to take Jax and keep him safe until this group left. As they were heading to the basement you gave Judy a radio and told her to wait until you said it was safe to come out.

Right before the door closed Mrs Wilson turned to you and said, “ Be safe (y/n) for this boy needs his mama just as much as you need him.” You almost started to cry but you knew Jax would too if he sensed your tears. So you hugged each of them and said to Jax trying to stay strong, “ Mommy will be back soon, be good for the Wilsons.” Jax responded with a babble and you kissed him on his chubby cheeks once again.

Now your mind was a little more at ease knowing your baby was hidden and safe. Once you leave the Wilsons house, you notice the saviors were getting closer so you decided to sneak around to get a better look at what was going on. What you saw was unbelieveable these saviors were coming into your community like barbarians. ripping through houses and basically taking everything they could get their grimy hands on, including people's mattresses. You were pissed and wanted to confront someone but then Mrs. Wilsons words crept back into your head reminding you about Jax. So instead of fighting the first person you saw, you decided to go find this leader, and try to impress him with your charm and somehow make him leave.

Walking back into the street you saw loads of things being taken away, that's when you notice Aaron and Eric on their porch as these scavengers were taking things out of their house. You even saw the Italian lamp you gave Eric for his birthday, which in your defense was a bitch to get, and there it was completely destroyed on the sidewalk. You thought, “It’s one thing to take these things away but if they were just here to destroy shit what’s the point.” You couldn’t hold it in any longer so you walked up to the bald headed guy and started cussing up a storm. As the guy went to radio their leader Aaron stepped in and said, “woah woah, it’s fine take our stuff and don’t mind her she just...wel, it’s that time of month... yay know how these women get.” The bald guy started to laugh as Aaron pulled you out of the way.

“ What the fuckin’ fuck Aaron. Do you not see they don’t care about anything.” You felt like screaming.

“(Y/n) its just things...and right now we just need to comply because you weren’t there when they killed Abraham and Glenn. You don’t know what their leader is capable of and what if dumbass over here radios him.” Aaron was staring at you furiously.

Aaron was right you definitely need to cool your jets before you do something you’ll regret. “Okay, you’re right...sorry... its just ...” you were suddenly distracted by a deep voice coming down the street. “It can’t be,” you thought, “clearly if he was still alive he would have found me by now...”

As you turn around You saw Rick and the saviors leader, and a third body dressed in dirty sweats headed your way. At first you couldn’t believe your eyes this man looked and sounded just like Negan. Clearly your mind was playing tricks on you because no way Negan would be a leader of these assholes. But as they got closer you confirmed with your mind it was indeed Negan. The same face and body you fell in love with years ago but you could tell he aged from the silver specs in his bread but, just like wine he got better with age. All you wanted to do was run up to him and kiss his beautiful face but that’s when you noticed Daryl was the guy by his side in dirty sweats looking as if he were Negan’s slave. You thought to yourself, “ what the hell happened to you Negan? You may look the same but you are definitely NOT the man I once loved.” Feeling emotional you shook yourself back to reality when Aaron asked you, “ (y/n) are you okay? “

You were still so stunned you couldn’t think of what to say to your best friend but then you finally answered, “Mmmm...yeah...Im..uummm..not feeling so great! I’m gonna go lie down for a quick sec..” As you ran into Aaron’s house you heard him say, “ good luck finding anything besides the wood floors to lay on..”

You could careless what you sat on you just had to hide before Negan could see you in order to figure out what to do. So, you decided to hide behind the front window curtains which still gave you a chance to spy on Negan. Luckily the window was opened a crack, letting Negan’s and Rick’s conversation flow to your ears.

You heard Negan ask Rick. “Where is she? I would love to see her.”

“Crap he saw me..” you thought but then you saw Gabriel pop up beside him and ask, “Do you care to pay your respects?”. It dawned on you he was probably asking about Maggie because she did look like she was about to die before she left. But thankfully Rick informed you Maggie was at Hilltop.

Tuning back into the scene in front of you, you saw Negan jump back surprised by Gabriel. You couldn’t help but laugh a little, hearing him say, “Holy crap, you are creepy as shit! Sneaking up on me wearing that collar with that freaky ass smile.”

“My apologies I’m Father Gabriel.”

Negan turns to Rick looking concerned and asked, “ She didn’t make it?”

Rick shook his head and then you saw the four of them (Negan,Rick,Daryl, and Gabriel) head toward the graveyard.

You decided to go home as Negan was no where in sight, so you said bye to Aaron and Eric. “(Y/n) you can stay for awhile until they all leave?” Eric said.

“ Thanks for the offer but it looks like they are done going through the houses over here so I’m just gonna get Jax and hopefully be able to watch a movie upstairs until they leave.” Aaron and Eric hugged you and then you were headed to the Wilsons to get your baby boy.

After getting Jax and being with the Wilsons for a bit, you and Jax finally went home. When you entered your house you noticed barely anything was taken compared to the other houses being practically bare. “What the frick?” You looked at Jax trying not to cuss, then continued to say, “ well maybe they noticed the baby stuff and was nice enough to leave almost everything.” As you head up stairs Jax started to fall asleep so you placed him in his crib and went to lay on your bed. That’s when you noticed they did take your movies and tv seasons but thankfully they left your favorite book on your nightstand. As you start to read you didn’t even realize the polaroid of you and Negan was gone.

A few minutes later there was a knock on your door. You quickly ran downstairs to answer, looking through the peephole you were relieved to see Aaron. Once you opened the door you asked what’s wrong. Aaron looked terrified and asked, “Did you happen to take any guns from Olivia without asking cause we are missing 2 guns (y/n).”

“Whoa, calm down Aaron but I didn’t take them. You know I would never just take supplies without permission. Most likely because I'm a stickler for the rules and all.” You giggled trying to ease the fear in Aaron’s eyes.

“Jjust stop (y/n) this is serious, but..fine... I’ll let Rick know cause he’s gonna have a meeting to see who took the guns, you coming?”

You didn’t know what to do you thought it was best to stay hidden in your house just so the secret of your past relationship with negan won’t get out, just so your community won’t end up hating you. So you said, “ Actually I’m gonna stay, Jax is taking his afternoon nap and I’m not feeling so well.”

Aaron looked at you and said, “ I’ll let Rick know and (y/n) it looks like they are done over here so just lock up and I’ll come get you when they leave.”

You nodded and smiled at Aaron watching him leave, hoping someone will confess to the guns because you don’t know what you would do if yet another person from Alexandria winds up dead.

Minutes later there was another knock on the door, believeing it to be Aaron, you said as you were opening the door, “ Aaron I told you already I don’t have the...” You suddenly stopped when you noticed the handsome man standing at the door, it was Negan.

“Hey, there princess!” Negan flashed his dimple filled smile and before you could respond he swept you off your feet, greeting you with a passionate kiss.

Summary: It’s been 2 years since you last saw Negan, and within those years you made new friends and had a baby, life was slowly getting better. Well until Rick warns your community (Alexandria) a new threat is on its way to destroy everything you love unless you all play by the rules.

You couldn’t believe that today was Jax’s 1st birthday making you realize, it’s been almost 2 years since you joined Alexandria, and what an adventure it has been...

When you first came to Alexandria you couldn’t believe your eyes, it was as if this place has never been attacked not to mention the amazing million dollar homes that were placed here. At first you stayed with Aaron and his boyfriend but once you were feeling better you decided to move in next door into a cute grey house with a wrap around pouch just like from the Notebook. Life was pretty good here and the people were amazing,minus the fact no one was really able to defend themselves. So, during the first couple months of your pregnancy you tried to help prepare the others for the unthinkable until you hit your third trimester, which thankfully Aaron had found a new group with the same experience with the dead as you,so they stepped in when Alexandria needed to be defended from the dead and the living.

Everyday your heart still ached for Negan and some days were harder than others, but when you finally gave birth to Jax (a beautiful healthy baby boy) your life had found a new love and that’s when your heart started to feel whole once again. Granted, the first few months with a newborn weren’t easy but you were glad you had friends, from the community willing to help out.

As you looked around you saw multiple people from Alexandria, which didn’t surprise you for this event was the one good thing that has happened in months due to the last couple of months having been pure hell. From walkers invading the community to Brody’s group attacking Alexandria, who knew a 1 year olds birthday party could bring so much joy.

You were excited for today but as you looked around the your crowed home you noticed the people who meant the most to you didn’t show, which made you anxious because they all promised they would be here. But finally, Rick and Judith showed up, calming your nerves a little. Now, when Rick and the others first got here you were infatuated with him. A strong handsome man who reminded you somewhat of Negan but after getting to know Rick you eventually just saw him as a brother, besides a few days later he and Michionne became more than friends. And watching them fall in love still gave you hope that maybe your Knight is still out there searching for you.

Rick embraced you in a hug and said, “ Hey there ( y/n), sorry we are late.”

“No, problem is everything okay?” You asked Rick noticing the tension in his voice.

He looked at you as if you could read his mind. “ Well...Daryl went off to get revenge on the group that killed Denise... and Carol left without even a note...and when I got back, Maggie looks really ill, so me, Abraham, Sasha, Aaron and my stubborn son are gonna take her to Hilltop.” Tears started to fill your eyes not sure if you were pissed off because everyone is leaving you or if you were more scared for their safety. So you suggested to Rick that you come too and leave Judith and Jax with Olivia.

Rick smiled at your fighting personality and replied, “ No, the thing you need to do right now is to stay here and protect the others just in case. And besides Daryl, Michionne, and Glenn should be back soon to help you as well.” Then Rick touched your shoulder and continued to say, “ and plus it’s your son’s 1st birthday you should be here with him.” You wiped your eyes and Rick continued to say, “ and don’t worry about Daryl he knows how to handle himself.” You blushed at Rick’s comment for you thought the attraction you felt with Daryl was one sided until the other day he kissed you out of nowhere but I guess word about “the kiss” spread around town like wildfire. But you agreed with Rick hugging him one last time and then as soon as you took Judith, Rick rushed out the door.

The party was over a few hours after Rick and the others left, so as you waited for them to come back you did your motherly duties and got Judith and Jax ready for bed. Once they both were asleep, you decided to pour yourself a glass of white wine and keep watch from your porch. So with your wine in one hand and the baby monitor in the other you sat on your porch admiring the night sky complementing on life and reminiscing and how you got here, making you slowly drift off to sleep…

………Jax started to cry over the monitor, so you quickly ran to his room before his cries started wake Judith. “ Hey there buddy, it’s okay mama is here now.” You cooed at him as you lifted Jax from his crib. Thankfully Judith was still sound asleep in the middle of your queen size bed so you took Jax and headed back downstairs trying not to disturb the sleeping beauty.

“ shh shhh shh, calm down Jax mama is here.” You decided to calm your sleepy baby by a bottle of milk and a popped a Disney movie into the tv. Almost instantly Jax was drifting back off to sleep.

“That’s right mama still has that magic touch.” You said victoriously while setting Jax in his playpen and turning off the tv.

“ Can I get some of that magic touch,” someone said while wrapping their strong arms around your waist. But this wasn’t Daryl it was someone you only meet in your dreams. It was your knight, your fiancé, your one true love, Negan.

“Negan you’re back… how I mean what…oh how I’ve missed you!” You jumped into his arms and started kissing him.

“ Well shit doll, let’s take this upstairs.” Negan suggested as you leaped into his arms but then you remembered Judith was still sound asleep.

“Wait what about Judith we should probably let Rick know she is still here.” You whispered to Negan as you set your feet back on the ground.

“ Oh darlin’ you need to stop pretending Rick is still alive,” you looked at Negan confused when he continued to say, “ don’t you remember I won the war and he’s dead.” That’s when you noticed something was wrong, Negan was splattered in blood and just behind the handsome man was a trophy case and on display was Rick’s head……

You woke up in a panic, thankful that it was only a dream. Then you said to yourself said to yourself, “ I really need to stop drinking before bed.” So you quickly went back into the house and locked the door, falling asleep on the couch next to Jax’s playpen, praying that your nightmare will stay a nightmare and become nothing more.

It was early in the morning when the children woke you, and before you went to see if Rick was back home you made the kids breakfast while you sat with them and drank your coffee. Suddenly there was a knock at your door. “ I bet you that’s your daddy Judith,” You gleefully said to Judith. She instantly had a smile on her face and hurriedly finished her breakfast as you went to answer the door.

As you open the door you see Rick and immediately notice the cut, bruises, and the blood splattered all over his body which made it look like he and the others were attacked. “ Oh my god Rick are you okay, what happened?”Rick was at a loss for words as if he couldn’t come to terms with what just happened. Through his tears Rick mentioned to you that there is gonna be a meeting later tonight letting people know what happened.

“I’ll watch over your baby girl until then...get some rest Rick I’ll take over any of your duties you had today.” Before he left, you embraced him letting him know everything is gonna be okay.

As you closed the door you lost it wondering who died or who is in critical conditions...praying that it wasn’t anyone you truly care about, mainly hoping it wasn’t Daryl. Suddenly a small murmur came from the other room bringing you back to reality, so you wiped your tears and went back to go check in on Jax and Judith.

After breakfast you dropped off the children at the Wilson’s house, and then you filled in where help was needed today. From guarding the gate to helping plan scavenging routes, to helping the hospital wing, you did it all. Before you knew it, it was about time for Rick’s meeting so you went to Aaron’s house to see if he wanted to walk with you to the church. Right before you made it to the door Aaron and Eric came out.

“ Oh my gosh, Aaron, you’re okay!” You ran and gave him a hug.

“ Happy to see you too, (y/n).” Aaron exclaimed but still seemed upset about something.

“ what the hell happened out there? Rick was sooo sad...”

Eric interrupted noticing Aaron getting upset, “ Hey (y/n) let’s just wait for the meeting okay.” You nodded to Eric then breaking the awkward silence Eric asked you about Jax.

“ He’s with the Wilsons, well actually Mrs. Wilson is watching Jax at my house just in case the meeting runs later than expected.” Eric smiled at you and said, “ Well let him know his favorite uncle is ready to hangout with him anytime his mommy needs some time to herself, or with Daryl.” You rolled your eyes almost smiling when Aaron commented, “ Honey, don’t you mean his second favorite uncle because clearly I’m his favorite.” You all laughed as if you all weren’t about to hear bad news in a few minutes.

Once you all arrived to the church the three of you sat in the back and as people started to pour in you greeted them like always. A few minutes later Rick took the stage ready for his announcement, but his body language told another story. That’s when you noticed everyone was there besides a few people; like Maggie and Glenn, which you figured was staying home due to Maggie being ill. Then you noticed Sasha and Abraham wasn’t here, which you thought was a bit strange but they did just recently start dating so who knows maybe they are cooping with this “bad” news a different way. But then the last person who was missing was Daryl, which you couldn’t think of why he would be gone, especially since he was Rick’s right hand man. Which this observation got you a little more anxious for what you were about to hear.

“ I know we’ve been through a lot as a community and what I’m about to say isn’t gonna make it any easier...but as many of you know myself and many others went to help bring Maggie to Hilltop...” Rick paused searching for the right words then continued to say, “ and as we were on our way we ran into a group called...the Saviors...”

You were stunned hearing Rick talk about the Saviors because you haven’t heard that name in years. Then you tuned out Rick and thought to yourself, “clearly it’s not the saviors from my last community they wouldn’t hurt anyone, besides we never forced other groups to provide for us because we had the resources to thrive on our own... unless the attack from Brody’s group changed all that..”

Your thoughts started to send you into a spiral of emotions, so you decided to tuned back into Rick’s speech... “ what they did was horrific they...they threatened to hurt our community...and if we don’t supply them with things they need...” Rick was so upset he couldn’t finish his annicement so that’s when Michionne stepped in.

“ what Rick is trying to say is ... they killed 2 of our own just to prove a point...they killed...Glenn and Abraham...” Everyone started to get upset not to mention you were a mess at this point then Michionne continued to say, “ and they took Daryl and if we don’t comply by their rules they will completely destroy our community...”

This is when complete chaos started in the church. People were crying others were furious there were so many mix emotions that even you couldn’t think whether to cry or raise hell. That’s when Rick whistled and got everyone’s attention once again,” I understand all of your concerns and worries but we need to stay together now more than ever because together we are stronger. If you have any questions I’ll gladly take any tomorrow for tonight I’ve told you all I know....as for now Father Gabriel would like to say a few words.”

Rick sat down when Father Gabriel took his place and said, “ We will be having a memorial in honor of Glenn and Abraham tomorrow evening if you would all like to come. And then we will be having a prayer circle in the morning for Maggie,Daryl, and Carol right after, for Maggie is in critical condition at Hilltop, Daryl is with the Saviors, and Carol is still missing.” Once Gabriel was finished the meeting was over some went straight to their houses while others stayed behind to morn, you made your way through the church consoling others trying to be strong, when you finally decided it was time to leave. As you headed for the door Spencer offered to walk you home, but you politely declined knowing he was just trying to get you in his bed, so you made up some excuse that you had to get Jax to bed, when in reality he would already be in bed thanks to Mrs. Wilson.

Once you made your way back home you were greeted by Mrs.Wilson informing you Jax was sleeping in his crib. Then she asked you how the meeting went and you sat and talked to her about what has happened. She reacted to the news just like everyone else but before she left she said to you, “Even though these terrible things keep happening to us all we need to do is look at all the good that has happened too, because everything happens for a reason, (y/n) and God has a plan for us all.” You smiled at her comment and hugged her which made her kiss you on the head just like your grandmother use to do when you were young.

After you watched her enter her home you quickly went upstairs to sleep along side your lil’ guy. You plopped onto your cozy bed and went to turn off your side lamp noticing the polaroid picture of you and Negan a few days after you moved into the hotel. You smiled remebering that day wishing He was beside you right now telling you everything was gonna be okay. So, you closed your eyes desperately trying to hear Negan’s voice in the silence of the night...

“Hey darlin’ can you turn off the light cause I need to get my god damn beauty rest. Cause ya’ know not all of us can look as glorious and sexy as you 24/7.” You looked over to the side where Negan would have been and buried your head into the pillow. As if you were laying against him Negan turns to you and says, “ It’s gonna be okay (y/n), Rick and I will hunt down those bastards and make them pay.”

“ But Negan do you really think it’s the Saviors, our Saviors that killed Glenn and Abraham?”

Negan was as confused as you were and replied, “Fuck, I hope not but there were some pretty sketchy people we picked up along the way...but let’s not worry about the what if’s right now, cause just like granny Wilson said everything happens for a fuckin’ reason, and if you don’t believe that just look at our beautiful baby boy.” You imagined yourself cuddling the man you still love and right before you kissed him he vanished into thin air.

Even though you were basically talking to yourself, “Negan’s talk” actually made you feel safe and ready to fight back when the time comes. You placed the picture back down on your night stand and smiled knowing Negan may not be with you physically but spiritual he is and he was watching over you and Jax every day. “Until we meet again my love.” You blew a kiss to Negan’s photogenic face and peacefully fell asleep.

Knight in a Leather Jacket: A Negan Story (Epilogue)

It's been days since the attack and you haven't seen or heard anyone, you were alone. You were sick to your stomach not knowing if it was the flu, bad water or food, or just exhaustion from the last few days. But you still reached for your radio every afternoon, and tried to get ahold of Negan.

"Hey baby, it's me if you can hear me I went East a few miles off the highway. I had to move the RV because I didn't feel safe being a sitting duck waiting for Brody and the others to attack. If you find me please bring food I haven't eaten in days. Anyways I love you hope to see you soon!"

Then like clockwork you threw up again, after your stomach had calmed down you decided to go look for something to eat. Keeping your eye on the RV you searched for food when you heard something from the bushes. "Who's there?" you shouted then suddenly your whole world went black.

You woke up in another RV noticing it wasn't yours,you only knew this due to the wallpaper being so different and hideous. Slowly lifting your head you were in pain and you weren't sure if it was coming from your head or stomach but it was a pain you've never felt before. Someone must have heard you whimper because you heard footsteps coming your way, so you grabbed your knife from your boot and was prepared to attack. 

"Hey," the calm voice said then continued, "looks like your awake, my name is Aaron..."

You interrupted the helpful man and demanded, "where am I and what have you done to me?" You tried to hold the knife up as steady as you could but then your hormones got the best of you and you started to cry, making your hand slowly fall to the side of the bed.

"Shh.. don't worry you are safe now...I saw you in the woods passed out and want to help... I am actually from a community not far from here called Alexandria. I look for survivors like you. If you would like I can take you there."

You looked at Aaron and said, "This sounds to good to be true what's the catch? And why are you being so nice to me? I could be a crazy cannibal or something!"

Aaron smiled, "No catch, you are free to leave whenever you would like and my community just wants to help those in need and from the looks of it you need some medical attention for a few months at least."

"I've been worse and besides I just ate something that doesn't agree with me, all i need is some food and somewhere to rest for a couple of days and I'll be on my way." You said just before you grabbed the glass of water by your bed.

Aaron looked puzzle and stated, "That's fine but it  may be hard delivering a baby by yourself." You looked stunned and immediately spat out the water entering your mouth. "What..I'm...I'mmm.. pregnant... how the hell do you know are you some kind of baby doctor?"

Aaron laughed at your comment, "no but my sister was pregnant before the world went to hell...but let me ask you a few questions to see if you fit the signs of being pregnant...do you feel sick in the morning most of the time? And does it seem your stomach is bloated? And lastly when was your last period."

"Yes, yes, and OMG I'm fuckin’ pregnant!" You started crying not sure if it was happy tears or sad but you were a mess. You thought of Negan and how happy he would be because he always dreamed of becoming a dad but then you realized he was gone and maybe even gone forever.

Aaron interrupted your thoughts by saying, "I say from the looks of it your about 5 weeks. So would you like to head back to Alexandria with me there is plenty of room, food, and we have a doctor to help you with your pregnancy. On the plus side it's gated."

You gave your belly a squeeze and before answering you thought of what Negan might say to you right now....

“ Are you fuckin’ crazy darlin’ of course you are going with this man... I mean make sure to always stay on guard and out of his bed...but you need to now not only take care of yourself but also our beautiful unborn child.”

You looked up to Aaron and agreed to go back to his community with him as long as you were free to do what you wanted. Aaron agreed with your terms and finally was headed toward the front to drive off to your new home.

So you grabbed your radio and whispered, "Hey Negan if you can hear me I'll be at a place called Alexandria. It sounds pretty safe...I love you..and can't wait until I see you again! And guess what I’m pregnant!"

Negan had been waiting for this exact moment for weeks but when he saw that ring on the last supply run, he knew it was time to make it official, for you to become his wife. So today, he had left you a note saying he was out on a run, when in reality, he was setting the stage for a perfect night in the place where the two of you magically fell for one another.

"Hey Simon have you and these ass-hats finished setting up the RV yet?” Negan asked Simon as he drove up to the place you two first met.

Simon was finishing up his lunch when he turned to Negan and yelled, “Shit, I knew there was a thing called a bridezilla but I think it is safe to say you have officially turned into a GROOM-zilla!” Simon murmured and the men near by laughed.

"Well she has to fuckin' say yes first Si!" Negan snapped. Everyone froze at the man's tone. After a moment of awkward silence Negan apologized, "Sorry it just needs to be perfect because this is the first time since..."

Just before Negan could show the men any more weakness  Simon quickly interrupted Negan and chuckled, "Well shit no need to get all emotional  and just to let you know BOSS, of course it is ready what do you think we’ve been doing all goddamn morning! Here I’ll give you the grand tour myself.” The others went on about their business as Negan and Simon entered the heavily decorated RV.

Negan’s was shocked what these men were able to do. There was a table set for two with twinkling lights displayed along the walls. They even manage to find some roses and placed the petals down the mini hallway and arranged a heart on the bed. Negan was so excited he gave Simon a giant hug.

“I was gonna ask you what’cha think old man? But I think it’s safe to say,you think it’s fuckin great!” Simon said to Negan while slapping his back.

“This looks fan-fuckin’- tastic Si! Shit,if we hadn’t work together at the high school. I would have thought you were a fuckin’ wedding planner or some shit!”

“Home economics was my best class.” Simon proclaimed then asked,”Where is that girl of yours anyways? Isn’t she done teaching?”

Negan smirked at his question, “Well I told her I was going on a supply run. But I should get back to the room soon or she’ll start to get suspicious.” Negan ran to his truck and headed for the hotel, headed toward you!

It felt like eternity but you had finally arrived back at the hotel. With your mind still continuously playing your recent conversation with Brody , you noticed your reflection in the glass and before entering the lobby you wiped away the last of your tears. “Breathe (y/n)...no need to freak anyone else out...” You thought to yourself. As you scanned the lobby you finally came across Tiffany, coming down the hall. Even though you didn’t care much for her (due to her obsession with Negan) you put on your fakest smile and asked her, “Hey, do you happen to know if Negan is back?”

She looked at you as if you were a servant in her castle when she finally repiled, “Well to be honest sweetie, if I were him and I lived with you I would never come back...but unfortunately nope... haven’t seen that fine ass in awhile.” She grinned at the thought of Negan.

Now, in your past life you would have just slapped the living shit out of Tiffany for her comment but there were more important things to take care of right now. So you nodded your head sarcastically and replied, “Well shit Tif, I'll make sure to take a picture of Negan's sexy NAKED ass when it is in my bed later tonight. That's what friends are for right?” Then as you slowly turned around to walk away, you heard Tiffany whisper “cunt!”

You turned around and looked at her and sarcastically gasped, "Oh, sorry I didn't get that, what did you say?" 

 Tiffany stumbled on her words,as if she was never challenged  by another female in her life then stated, “Oh nothing... Have a nice day!”

"You too Tiffany, you too!" you grinned.

As you were walking out the door you ran into Mandy and her dad walking in. Almost instantly when Mandy realized it was you she embraced you in a hug and asked, “Did you happen to find Dash?”

“Why don’t you see for yourself.” You swung off your backpack and inside Mandy saw the sleeping pup. “You fff-oundd him! I knew I...I..I could count on you! Thank you miss (y/n).” Mandy reached for Dash and the puppy welcomed her with sloppy kisses all over her face. Mandy’s dad thanked you and you continued on in your hopes of finding Negan before it was too late.

As you entered the room you smiled with relief because you saw Negan half dressed looking for a clean shirt. You snuck up behind him and whispered in his ear, "Hey there handsome." while hugging him and gently kissed the back of his neck.

"Hot damn why, hello to you to princess, if you would have arrived a little earlier we could have saved some water and showered together." Negan proclaimed while grabbing your ass.

"What's the rush, you got a hot date later?" you playfully grinned at the older man.

"Hell yeah and if I'm late..." Negan bent down to give you a real kiss,  "She might leave because she "supposedly" doesn't need a tall, handsome, sexy-ass looking man on her ass all the time like me." Negan grinned and wrapped you up in a manly bear hug then continued to say, "but there is still time for her to take a shower." You nudge Negan and quickly ran to the bathroom to freshen up for your date with not only your Knight in shining armor,  but also your best friend.

After a few minutes you were done and looking for something to wear, so you stared at Negan trying to guess where this date might be and what you should wear. He was wearing his "nice jeans" and a collared shirt, which you've never seen, "is that a new shirt?" you asked Negan.

"Why yes it is and I found something for you too." Negan grabbed something from the closet and reviled to you a nice lilac colored laced dress. Your mouth dropped in disbelief. "So does this mean you like it?" Negan asked.

"I absolutely love it Negan! Where did you find it?"

"I found it a couple weeks ago on a supply run in what looked like a small boutique and its also where I found my shirt." He boyishly grinned at you. You took the dress and put it on in the bathroom, once you had it on you opened the door waiting for Negan's reaction. "So, how does it look?" You asked the shocked man while spinning around.

"You..you.. look fuckin' incredible darlin'!" Negan gave you a squeezed and a sweet kiss on the head then asked, "Are you ready to go on this hot date of ours?"

"Yeah, I just need to get something from my bag. I'll meet you by the car. " You told Negan and he started heading out the door. As you rush over to your bag to search for your chap stick all the events from earlier today came rushing back into your mind. You were so caught up in this fantasyland with only you and Negan that you completely forgot that the community was endanger.  But, Negan and the saviors were prepared for something like this so you grabbed your chap stick and ran out to Negan's truck praying while you two were gone everyone else will stay safe.

You and Negan finally arrived to your destination which looked like your RV but something was different it was all decorated and fancy looking. So you asked, "Negan what's going on here because this looks like my family's RV but it is heavily decorated with roses and candles."

"Trust me darlin' it's about time I took you on a real ass date." Negan grabbed your hand leading you into the RV. When he opened the door it was as if you were watching one of those prom-posal videos on the internet. There were twinkling lights with rose petals covering the floors the whole  bit. You smiled and jokingly asked, "Are you asking me to prom mister because someone forgot to..." before you could finish your smart ass remark Negan was down on one knee with a small velvet box in his hand.

Before you knew it tears started to fill your eyes when Negan started to say, "(y/n) when this world went to shit I felt like nothing good would ever come from this but to my fuckin' surprise it did it was the day I meet you. You are not only my hot ass lover but you are also my best friend... someone I truly admire and want to do life with, well whatever kind of life this is... but even if the world hadn't gone to shit, I honestly believe we would have meet in the old world because what we have here between us is fate and we were simply meant to be. So (y/n) will you marry me?"

You couldn't speak so you nodded yes and Negan slipped the diamond on your finger and kissed you for what felt like forever. "Let me guess you found the ring at the boutique as well?" you chuckled.

"Yep, did I forget to mention this boutique was a wedding boutique?" Negan smirked and continued to say, "Now let's eat so we can make sweet love later!"

As you both sat down and started eating you were happy but your community's safety was still on your mind and Negan must have noticed because he asked you, “Hey (y/n) is everything okay? I promise the spaghetti is fuckin' great I made it myself!"

You smiled at the handsome man's comment debating if this was the right time to tell your soon-to-be husband what happened today,  "I know it's just...I have something to tell you and it might ruin our whole night..and I...". Negan grabbed your hand, " What's on your mind darlin' did something happen today? You know you can tell me anything...Did someone do something to you? because I can have them.." 

You abruptly kissed Negan to make him shut up you then revealed to him what had happened in woods earlier today. Negan was stunned and started to get angry and said, "How soon (y/n)?"

"I don't know Brody just said soon..." Negan got up from the table and slammed his fist on the wall. "I'm going to kill all those fuckers...ughh!"

You cautiously went to Negan and asked, "Negan, you and the saviors have a plan right? Whatever it is I can help." Negan just shook his head and said, "Yes... but," then suddenly you both heard what sounded like a blast coming from the direction of the hotel. You both ran outside and noticed flames coming from the same direction. You started to panic when Negan demanded you to stay at the RV and wait for him to come back for you. You responded. "Hell no that is my community too Negan I am coming!"

Negan went back to his truck grabbed a radio and then scooped you off your feet going back into the RV. Once Negan placed you on the bed he said, "NO you are safer here... and I can't loose you... you mean everything to me (y/n)!" It was one of the few times you saw Negan get emotional. And you knew he was serious, so you hugged him and said, "Fine... but you need to come back to me too, Negan... even if the community doesn't survive promise me you will come back because I may mean the world to you but you also mean the world to me!" you both kissed one another like it might be your last. Then Negan gave you the radio and instructed you if they start to head this way leave and he would be able to contact you by the radio.

He then hurriedly rushed to his truck gave you one last kiss not realizing that it would be your last, then you watched as your knight in shining armor rode off into the night sky.

Summary: Weeks have gone by at your new home. You feel safe once again with Negan and the others, everything is perfect. That's until an old flame threatens your new found life.

Its been 3 weeks since you started living with Negan and his community at the hotel, and you absolutely loved it. You felt like your new world was finally turning into something worth while, something worth fighting for. Everyday you had taken on a variety of jobs, from the kitchen to going on supply runs, you tried to help out where ever you were needed.  Negan kept insisting you to not work so damn hard, but you felt like you had to show the others you were more than just a pretty face.

But after putting in the hard work you finally got assigned a job you actually loved, which was teaching. A few days ago, you started teaching the young children in the mornings, including the little girl who secretly thought you were a princess. So life right now was the greatest its been in a while, however something deep down inside of you made you feel that sooner or later something would soon ruin your new life.

As the morning was coming to an end you reminded the children that their nature projects were due this Friday. Dismissing class for the day the children were practically running out the door when you noticed Mandy secretly wiping away tears off her face. You were puzzled and was trying to recall any indications on why she would be so upset, because normally she was always so cheerful especially since she believed you were a real undercover princess. But you remembered that she was late this morning and was panicking over something. When you finally had  chance to ask her as the others were working independently, Mandy was back to her happy-go-lucky-self, so you thought it was just a rough start to her day, until now.

While you made your way over to her you asked her, "Hey there kiddo is everything okay?". She picked up her head and you noticed the tears still dripping down her face. She was trying to speak but you couldn't understand her due to her crying.  You embraced the little girl and tried to calm her down by saying, "It's okay sweetheart... calm down...shhhh...its alright". Sitting with her in silence you started to rub her head, something your mom did whenever you were upset when you were her age. As minutes passed you decided to break the silence by saying, "You know whatever it is I promise to not tell anyone... and princess's have to keep there promises its the law." Mandy started to giggle a bit  when she finally says, "I... well my... my doggy ran... away." 

Your heart broke for the little girl and her lost pet which reminded you of how you felt when your beloved Patches ran away from home. "Do you mean Dash, sweetie?". Mandy nodded and stared at you with her concerned blue eyes. You continued to say, "Well I'm sure he just wanted to go on a little adventure,he'll be back before you know it." . You gave her one last squeeze before you let go indicating for her that it was time to leave. As she was about to exit the door she nervously asked you, "Can yyyoouu try and ffiiinnd him for me pleeasssee? Its jusstt I've llookked everywhere and my daddy won't let mmee ggo past the fence."

"You know what I'll see what I can do." You answered certainly. As Mandy was heading out the door she turned to you and said, "Thanks Miss (y/n) I llllovve that youuu aarre my teacher." You smiled at the little girls comment and replied to her, "and I love that you are my student." She smiled at you showing off her toothless grin and left the class skipping all the way back home.

You thought to yourself, "That little girl is so darn cute but where I'm I gonna find her precious little dog." You grabbed your things and headed for your room hoping Negan will come up with a plan. Besides if he refuses, you can persuade him in more ways than one.

Once you entered your lovely abode you called out for Negan because usually by this time he was here for a little one-on-one time with you, before he had to go on his daily rounds in the community.  But you noticed the note on the table:

Hey there princess,

I hate to fuckin' write this but I've got to skip our daily intimate time because these ass hats don't know how to do a proper fuckin' supply run.Be back later tonight and be ready for me to rock you mother-fuckin' world.

You were a bit upset he wasn't here because you looked forward to spending time with him not just sexually but personally as well. But you shrugged it off knowing he will indeed make up for his lost time with you later tonight. So you decided to go ahead and try to find the small dog by yourself. You grabbed your bag and supplied it with everything you may need, like weapons, food, and water. Before leaving you wrote on Negan's note informing him what you are up to, then you headed toward the woods behind the hotel.

Minutes have passed and the only thing you’ve found were squirrels and walkers. After taking down what felt like your 20th walker you were starting to think Dash was most likely puppy chow by now. So you sat down on a boulder trying to stay positive and praying that someone will give you a sign in what to do. When suddenly you heard a small wimper coming from your right. “Can it be... oh please let it be Dash.” You thought out loud.

Following the sound you came across a thick bush and some trees. “Dash, is that you?” You asked. Then the bush moved and you heard a bark coming from within. “Okay lil’ guy I’m coming...”. Cautiously, you pulled the branches apart to peek what was inside. And to your surprise it was indeed Dash Mandy’s sweet dog. You smiled with joy and said to him, “ Okay hold still I’m coming.” You grabbed your knife and freed the dog from the bush. He rewarded you with big sloppy dog kisses all over your face. “Alright Dash your safe now and guess what Mandy is waiting for you too.” The cute dog just wagged his tail almost as if he were thanking you for saving him. After cleaning his wounds from the thorns you and Dash started to head back home.

Just as the hotel came into sight, you came across what seemed to be an abandoned campsite. Before investigating any further, you grabbed your knife and placed Dash into your backpack. With his little head sticking out of the top you walked around to see if there was anyone insight. Suddenly you heard movement coming from behind a tree.

"Hello, is anyone there?" you called out. With no response you went ahead and quickly gathered any useful supplies from the abandoned sight. As your back was turned Dash started to bark at something. You quickly turned around and you saw Brody standing right in front of you aiming a gun at your head.

"Just..be still (y/n)." Brody commanded you as he started to get closer. You didn't know what to do and you were so terrified your body was beginning to become paralyzed with fear. "Wow you are more beautiful than the last time I saw you." Brody said as he was looking you up and down.

 You were disgusted by the way he was eyeing you like a piece of meat but when his soft brown eyes meet yours you felt safe enough to say something. "W..what do you want from me? My community has supplies if you need something just please, Brody don't hurt us. There are children, families, and..."

Brody interrupted your plead by saying, "You still don't know when to shut the hell up now do you, (y/n). I don't want anything I just wanted to warn you."

You were shocked that the man you once loved still cared about your safety. "Warn me about what?" you asked.

"They are coming... ever since I ran into you and your leader at the mall... they've, I mean, we've been stalking you ever since...planning an attack on your community..." Brody looked as if he felt guilty about what he had just confessed to you but he also looked broken and warn out.  

"When?" You asked Brody, but just as he was about to say, you both heard voices coming from behind the both of you.

"Go now (y/n)...They are coming and if they find you they will do things to you worse than you've ever seen..trust me."

"But.."

"No! GO NOW!" Brody pushed you and ran toward the talking voices. As Brody disappeared into the woods you ran as fast as you could hoping you can get to not only your community but to Negan before it was too late.

Summary: You leave the hotel scared of the man you loved. But trying to find an answer on what to do next, the universe seems to be giving you clues. So will you let fate decide your future?

Negan POV:

"Do you want us to go after her boss?" Fat Joey asked while trying to catch his breath.

"No, I know exactly where she is going... let's just wait 'til morning because it looks like it is going to start raining fuckin’ soon." Negan motioned for the others to go back inside.

Negan was trying his hardest to hide his emotions from his people because in reality, he desperately wanted to go after you to make sure you were safe, but he knew you weren't some damsel in distress. Plus, he knew what you just saw in the basement created him to be a monster in your eyes and he needed to figure out what he should do in order to change that. Because even though he manages to survive this new world, if he were to ever lose you permanently he isn’t sure if his heart will ever be able to recover from a break that deep.

Reader POV:

The scene from tonight's events wouldn't stop playing in your head.

The blood, the screaming, and the look on Negan’s face... made you feel scared as hell. All you could think to do was to run.

So that's what you did. You got into Negan's car and just left hoping to find an answer on the way. As the rain was coming down, you thought to yourself, “I trusted him...I could have sworn he was one of the good guys..”. Then finally after driving for what felt like eternity, you saw the only thing you could truly depend on in the distance, your home on wheels. While you pulled into the field, your RV looked exactly how you felt, lonely and in the dark. You were on edge due to the darkness and recent events, so you gripped your knife a little tighter and rushed inside your home.

Trying to calm your racing heart, you searched the kitchen for dinner. You decided to eat some chicken noddle soup while drinking the left over whiskey, because maybe the alcohol will make you forget all about what had happened just hours ago. But of course no matter how drunk you were you couldn’t stop thinking of Negan.

Minutes have past and the alcohol still wasn’t working, so you decided maybe a movie can help ease. So, you grabbed your portable device and played the movie that was left in the player. As the dvd was loading you put on your pjs and grabbed a blanket from the couch and tucked yourself in bed. “ much better...” you thought to yourself. Once the movie had started, you realized it was one of your favorite “Indiana Jones” movies but just like the alcohol, it reminded you of Negan. “ you’ve got to be fucking kidding me!” You couldn’t help but laugh knowing fate was giving you a sign.

Then your drunken mind started to rant furiously to the air, “But how can I trust a guy like him...at least Indiana didn’t have to lie to get into the girls pants!” . You continued your speech while flipping off the universe, “You know why is it sooo hard to tell the truth nowadays! You think most people would want to ban together against the non-living...instead of killing others to show off who’s got the bigger balls!” After a few more slurred statements your screaming match was finally over. You decided to continue watching the movie even though you couldn’t help but remember the comments you had made to Negan about his Indy like bag, wishing he was here with you. As the movie plays on, just as Dr.Jones saves the day, you slowly drifted off to sleep, having one of the best dreams you've had in awhile.

You were with Indiana on another adventure finding ancient artifacts and before you lean into kiss Indy for a job well done...your mind had replaced Harrison Ford’s face with Negan’s. That’s when you woke up in a cold sweat.

You looked around your room in a panic, thankfully your body started to calm down realizing you were safe in your RV. In addition, your movie was on the menu screen, so you figured you were only asleep for a couple of hours. “At least the rain stopped.” You said while peeking out your window noticing the sun starting to find its way through the trees. That’s when your thoughts went back to Negan and all the signs the universe was dealing you, giving you what seemed like the answer you were looking for. “What I’m I gonna do...do I trust him or do I not trust him...ughhh” you think out loud as you scream into your pillow. Then you came up with a final decision plan stating to yourself, “if Negan truly cares for me I’ll give him until noon to come find me and explain to me what the hell I saw last night.”

Negan POV:

Negan got up early the next morning before any one else, in order to sneak out and find (y/n) alone. Just before Negan left he grabbed his bat and headed down the hall. Negan was in the clear until he saw the little girl next door outside with her dog. She waved to him and said, "Good morning... sir"

Negan waved back and replied, "Hey there sweetheart. What are you doing up so early?"

"Dash here needed to go potty so I needed to make sure he is safe. And you?"

Negan laughed thinking this little girl was to smart for her own good, reminding him a little bit of (y/n). "Well I'm just out here making sure you are safe... you can think of me as a Knight protecting his people. And hey it looks like Dash is done, I'll wait until you head back to your room, okay?"

The little girl smiled showing off her missing teeth while grabbing her small dog. She rushed to her room and right before she entered she said, "Excuse me sir... can you also make sure the princess is okay I saw her leave last night looking really sad."

It broke Negan’s heart what the little girl had just requested but he put on a brave face and said, "No problem sweetheart and I'll let her know you were worried about her." Negan gave the girl a bow and started his motorcycle speeding done the road to a safe haven that only "the princess" and he knew about.

Reader POV:

“Okay, time to start moving.” You thought outloud. Just as you were starting a piss poor pot of coffee you heard an engine rev as if trying to get your attention. “Shit they found me.” You panicked believing it to be Brody and his psychotic group. So you crouched down under the windows looking for anything to help you defend your home. “okay...I’ve got pans and my knife...and” when suddenly a voice came through your walkie talkie which was sitting on the table, that snapped you out of your thoughts.

“No need to fret princess...it’s me your one and only knight in shining armor!” Negan proclaimed.

You rolled your eyes and peeked your head out the window noticing Negan in a motorcycle looking extremely sexy but you knew you needed to keep him on his toes, proving to him you weren’t going to fall in his hands like putty again. So you glared out the window and spoke into the walkie saying, “thanks but no thanks I’m perfectly fine...no need to worry about me. This princess can save herself.”

Negan knew you were gonna put up a fight. So he decided to play your game and he slowly got on his bike, starting his engine when your voice came back through the radio asking. “Hey where are you going?”

“Well you want me to leave don’t you doll?” Negan turned around staring at you through the window, smiling that swoon worthy smile at you making your insides turn to mush.

“Shit...he knows me too well.” You thought then you responded to him on the radio, “damnit Negan...why can’t I just hate you!”

That’s when your body started heading toward the door as if a magnetic pull was making you go toward the handsome devil. As soon as Negan saw you coming toward him he ran to you embracing you in a manly bear hug while giving you a tender kiss on the head.

He spoke first and as he spoke you heard the sadness within his voice, “ I’m sooo sorry darlin’ I can explain...the man you saw in there was a part of that group we ran into at the mall... I was just...”

You interrupted Negan , “shhhhh...okay, I should have let you explain, before I decided to storm off... I was just scared of what you could do... to me."Negan looked into your eyes but you continued to say, "but I now know deep down that you were just trying to protect the others and me. But please no more secrets I want to know everything even if you think it will upset me.” Negan nodded to kissing your lips then replied,  “ I promise because there is no way in hell I could live without you or your sweet perfect ass!” you playfully pushed Negan. He responded, "Just kidding, well kind of but seriously doll, ever since I met you the thought of losing you drives me crazy because if anything were to happen I don't think I could ever truly live without you." You smiled looking into his hazel eyes agreeing with the man.  

Finally you got onto his motorcycle but before you started your new journey, Negan mentioned to you his interactions with the little girl requesting for him to save the sad princess. You replied to him saying, "even though this princess doesn't need saving... its nice to know there is someone out their willing to save her." You kissed Negan on the shoulder as he drove you off to your new life, once again.

Summary: You start your life with Negan and The Saviors, but what will happen when you find out what Negan’s true role is within the community. (fluff and angst)

Safe. That’s how you felt when you woke up in Negan’s arms the next morning. You turned around your body in order to face the sleeping man beside you. With his arms re-adjusting to your movement, he pulls you closer to his chest, and  tenderly kisses you on the forehead. As you lay their staring at the man you thought to yourself, "Wow, he is truly amazing." You wished the morning hadn't come so soon because you would rather be in this exact moment...forever.

Minutes go by without you taking your eyes off Negan, when suddenly Negan pinches your arm. "What the hell?" you shouted while pushing Negan playfully.

"Just reassuring you this isn't a fuckin' dream doll... I am really in bed with you..naked."He responds to you while smirking. You rolled your eyes at the cocky man’s comment.

“You know I should be pinching you because it wasn’t too long ago that you were the one who had a sex dream about me.” You boasted while getting closer to Negan.

Negan stared at you with lust and started to say, “and darlin’ last night was 10 times better than my sex filled dream.” He then kissed your lips as if begging for more. Finally,as he pulled away he said,” Well as much as I would love to stay here with you all day, we should start moving for Simon will wonder where the hell we are.” While you got up you can tell Negan was admiring your unclothed figure. As you grabbed your clothes you looked at Negan and said, "Didn't you just say we had to start moving or else?"

Negan's rough voice responded, " I know but I wanted to admire you a little bit longer... just in case you decide you fuckin' don't want me anymore." It was sweet seeing him in this vulnerable state so to re-assure your feelings for Negan you went over to him and whispered to him, "don't worry dollface...I have many more things to show you later tonight."

"God... where have you been all my life?" He responded to your answer,  then Negan grabbed you tossing you on your back as his lips once again crashed into yours. A few minutes later, both you and Negan started to get moving. As you were packing your things, your mind started to worry about all the things that could eventually happen to your new community, as it did to your old community. You were so anxious that you had to sit down to try and calm your troubled mind. "You okay (y/n)?" Negan asked while sitting next you. Once you open your eyes, tears started to fall down your face. "Hey its okay, princess, if you're worried about leaving we don't have to." Negan stated. You just smiled at the man, it was as if he knew you your whole life. But you shook your head and said, "I'm fine... I'm...just scared. Its been so long since I've been apart of a group...and I just don't want the same things to happen as it did before...everything I loved was taken away from me."

Negan embrace you into his manly arms, you loved the way he smelled. Negan then stated to you, "You know nothing will ever happen to us, and if something comes are way we will fuckin' deal with it.. together." Negan then continued to say, " You know what let's make a pact... if it's okay with you let's leave this nice ass RV here... and if something ever happens and we get separated..we can meet back here... this could be like our safe house." You liked his idea of having your own space where the two of you can meet if things go bad. So to show him you agree you kissed his savory lips once again. After you finished packing your things, Negan helped you load them into his truck. "You ready sweetheart?" Negan asked while grabbing your hand.

"Yes, let's go! I'm ready to start my new life with you." Then as Negan pulled away you looked in the rear view mirror watching your past slowly fade away.

"Finally you're here!" Simon rejoiced as you and Negan got out of the truck.

 "Hey no need for the sass drama queen... I'm only a few minutes late..dipshit." Negan responded to Simon.

 "And who is this beautiful young lady?" Simon asked as he grabbed your hand and kissed it. You were a bit creeped out and Negan could tell, so he stepped in and shouted, "Hey hands off, Si... you are creepin' her the fuck out.." You looked at Negan thanking him but also a bit peeved for you can handle your own problems. Negan than stated to Simon and the three other men, "If you must know,this is (y/n) one badass independent lady... and she is fuckin' off limits."

 Simon backed away and said, "geez calm down...I was just being friendly... it isn't everyday you run into a beautiful women like (y/n) here." You blushed at Simon's compliment and Negan stood a little closer to you as if he was marking his territory. "Okay enough chit-chat... let's start moving our asses before sundown...when the real creeps come out." Negan declared and then everyone ,including you, went back to your vehicles.

As you and Negan start to follow the other truck down the road, you turned to Negan and said, "Thanks for stepping in... but you do need to realize I took those stranger danger classes back in college..so if anything ever does happen just know I can hold my own ground with creeps like Simon." Negan's hand rested on your thigh as he said, " I'm sorry... it's just nowadays most men would do anything to get into a woman's pants... and just the way Simon and the others were practically drooling over you I wanted to make sure you feel safe with me..." Your heart exploded with feelings at Negan's comment, even though you could take care of yourself you liked having a big strong man look out for you. So, you scooted a little closer and gave Negan a kiss on the cheek.

Finally, the truck pulled up to what looked like an old hotel, with a total of three floors. "We're here sweetheart." Negan said with excitement. As you look at the hotel you see many people outside, from adults to children you couldn't believe how big this community was. You guessed that there had to be about 30 people, which was a lot for a community nowadays. You smiled with glee as you got a feeling of what your new life would be like. After you both got out of the car, you followed Simon to the front desk.

"Would you like your own rooms?" Simon asked. You looked at Negan waiting for him to answer when he motioned to you to decide. You finally said, "No, because sharing is caring." Negan laughed showing off his dimple filled smile. "That's my girl." Negan said while Simon handed him the keys to your shared room. 

Once you both were outside, you both decided you wanted to check out the room before unpacking. Your room was on the third floor near a stairwell facing the woods. Negan opens the door, and the both of you step into an enormous penthouse like suite. But the first thing you both noticed wasn't the kitchen but the giant king size bed with a bronze pole on the right side. "Now we're talkin'!" Negan plopped his masculine body onto the bed as if waiting for a show.

You bit your lip and shook your head at the man walking toward him before saying, "I know I can't for you to dance for me." Negan leaned over and pulled you down onto the bed and kissed you. You finally broke the kiss and said, "We should really go unpack the truck now... so we can start our "show" early tonight." Negan grinned at you ready to rush out the door, when someone knocked at the door. Negan opened the door and there was a dark haired man, who told Negan he was needed at the main office to take care of some "business". Negan shook his head and closed the door. You looked at him questioning what was going on. Negan told you, "I need to go downstairs real quick and deal with something but I'll be back...I told Fat Joey to grab some men and bring our things up..." Negan kissed your lips and was out the door.

After Fat Joey and another person brought your things up you thanked them as if they were a concierge at a regular hotel. You rummage through your things for something to eat and you decided on the bag of stale pretzels and a half-drunken gatorade.  You sat on the porch admiring the view and how peaceful it was here. Once you were done eating, you decided to shower and change into something more revealing for Negan. It seemed like Negan was taking longer than he thought, so you decided to put on some sweats and a t-shirt and go see what Negan was up to. As you were heading downstairs, you saw a little girl playing with her sister outside. You smiled at them and the little girl tugged at your pants and said, "You're..very... pretty... are you a princess?." You smiled at the little girl and decided to play along and said, "shhhh...I'm undercover don't tell anyone, promise?" The little girl giggled and said, "promise." She ran back to her sister and told her your secret. "Oh to be young again." You thought to yourself.

While you were approaching the front desk you heard screaming coming from what seemed like a basement, where in the old world maids would do laundry. You were a bit nervous but your curiosity got the best of you and you decided to go toward the sound. You approached the room, luckily the doors had a small window attached. You peeked in and you couldn't believe what you were seeing it was as if your worst nightmares became a reality. You saw the man you thought you loved covered in blood, not his blood or a walker's blood but human blood. You wanted to look away but you couldn't you had to understand what the hell was going on. As you looked closer you also saw Simon and one other guy in the room. You then noticed Negan holding onto the blood stained baseball bat and finally you saw Negan standing over a beaten man, who looked practically dead. 

At this point you couldn't move... fear was finally taking control over your body. You thought, "this can't be happening, why would he beat the living' shit out of that poor man..." you stepped away from the door trying to regain control of your thoughts when you accidentally tripped over empty paint cans. "Shit"  you thought. You started to run as fast as you could away from the horrific nightmare when you heard Negan in the distance shout, "(y/n) come back...I can...explain." But it was too late, you got into Negan's truck wiping your tear filled eyes. As you drove off, you were cursing at yourself for letting someone in once again.

Knight in a Leather Jacket: A Negan Story ( Chapter 6)

Summary: You and Negan spend one last night in the RV before you leave with Negan’s community in the morning. (FLUFF ALERT)

You started to worry about your Knight in Shining Armor even though he specifically told you not to. But the sun was going to set soon and you couldn't help but worry about your new friend, especially with Brody's group still on the loose. "He'll be okay," you kept reminding yourself, "He knows what to do if  trouble comes his way."  In order to keep your mind busy, you decided to go out and hunt for dinner because expired snacks wasn't fulfilling your need for meat.  

As you were walking in the woods you came across some squirrels in a tree. You hated killing animals but you also needed to survive. “Well it’s me or them.” you thought to yourself. So you aimed your bow at the three squirrels then fired. “Yacht-zee!” You said in victory while reaching for the three squirrels on your arrow. “looks like we are having squirrel kabobs for dinner tonight.” you laughed while picking up a few sticks. Once you got back to camp you saw Negan’s truck parked outside, you were so excited that you started running for the door. “Negan!!” You shouted.

“(y/n)! Where the hell were you? ” Negan responded to you looked as if he were upset.

“Geez...calm down why are you so worried? Remember I can take care of myself I'm not a damsel in distress." You shouted back at him.  Negan seemed pissed at your comment but you were ready to stand your ground.

“You should have left a note (y/n) because I thought you were taken...or lost...or something bad. Do you not realize who we encountered the other day?” Negan explained his brows furious.

“Calm down, Hulk, your starting to turn green.” You motioned to Negan’s face, trying to make Negan laugh. Negan walked away clinching his fist but after a few minutes had passed he had calmed down and embraced you in his manly arms and said, "I'm sorry... it's just when I didn't see you it freaked me the hell out." And this is the exact moment you realized the chivalrous man before you cared more about you than you had originally thought.

"I'm sorry too! But you need to realize I’m a big girl I can take care of myself. Besides, I was just out hunting for dinner tonight! I figured it was the least I could do for all the incredible things you had done for me, these last couple of days." You answered  while holding up your dead squirrels. Negan's face finally relaxed and he smiled at you. That’s when you, once again, got lost in his dimple filled smile. “Okay you big goof, let’s eat!” you replied while leading the way to the stove.

As you both were eating you had asked Negan if he had found anything at the  mall. Negan looked up at you with a mouth full of squirrel and started to say, "Actually I didn't make it to the mall, sweetheart...". Before Negan could finish his answer he could tell your mind started to panic, as if thinking something bad had happened to him this afternoon. Then he continued saying, “No need to worry now (y/n)... the reason is because I actually ran into my old community.”

“Really? That’s great!” pretending to be excited, knowing damn well you didn’t want him to leave. You then asked, “So is this your last night with me? You leaving tomorrow?”

Negan chuckled at your question. “You want me gone that bad,uhh.. Miss Independent...” you had faked a smile, Negan continued to say, “but you’re coming with me...well only if you want....cause I’ll understand if you wanna stay.”

Your jaw dropped at the man’s invitation. You were stunned he wanted you to go with him. But trying to play it cool you told Negan, “Yeah sure I’ll come...I mean I have to right, because without me you would be lost.” Even though Negan knew you were being a smartass, he wanted so bad to tell you that your comment is indeed the truth. He would absolutely be lost without you.

Once dinner was over, Negan grabbed two chairs and before you knew it you were on top of the RV stargazing with him. Just like you had done with your dad many years ago. Finally Negan motion to you to climb up to enjoy the view. You were amazed at the starlit sky in addition to the man sitting next to you.

After a few minutes of stargazing, Negan decided to play a game in order to fill the silence that had fallen between you two.

"Oh gosh please not anymore drinking games I'm still recovering from last night." You mentioned with a disgusted look on your face.

"Granted this game is 10x better with alcohol but for your sake we won’t use any... the game is called two truths and one lie."  You looked at Negan motioning him to go on. Negan continued,  "When its your turn you say two truths and one lie about yourself; the thing is the person who isn't talking has to guess which statement is the lie."

"Sounds interesting.." you said staring at the man.

"Oh it is! This game lets you learn a lot about a person, even though we aren't  drinking let's still make it interesting."  Negan smirked at you. It was like you were going to make a deal with a very hot devil.

"What do you suggest?" You ask intimated with what he may say.

"If I win 2 out of 3 rounds; you must...let me sleep in your bed tonight...” Negan didn’t want to sound like a creep so he added, “with you sleeping on the couch, of course.” Even though he so badly wanted to sleep and cuddle next to you he still honors a woman’s choice in the new world.

"Fair enough..if I win, which I'm going to by the way... you have to give me your precious satchel.” Negan looked at you in dismay and responded, “I thought you didn’t like my “Indiana Jones” bag.” The both of chuckled then you shook hands and said “deal”.

Negan went first, “ 1. I use to be a high school PE teacher, 2. I had 3 kids, 3. My wife died from cancer. Which one is the lie?” You looked at Negan confused as hell and said, “ ummm..I don’t know.. okay fine I think your lie is number 1.”

“Annddd your... WRONG! Best luck next time, thats one point for me.” Negan yelled victoriously than told you the correct answer, “my lie was number 2 I never even had kids.” You could see the disappointment in his eyes.

“ I’m sorry...why not is it cause you lost your wife to cancer?” You asked Negan scooting closer to him. Negan shook his head and said, “No...we tried but Lucille had this rare condition which prevented her from having kids..plus it would have never worked cause we always fought...but once she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer...we decided it wasn’t meant to be..”. You started crying hearing about his past life.

“Hey no need to cry it’s in the past.” Negan said while giving you a giant size bear hug. “Plus it’s your turn you need to go so I can guess and win...” Negan laughed but you can tell there was a bit sadness in his tone.

You wiped your eyes and said, “ okay, 1. I was a fourth grade teacher, 2. I have a sex tape, 3. I think I’m in love with you!” All of a sudden, your lips crashed into   Negan's as if they were magnets. You caressed the man's face in your hands while your lips and his, met in a savory kiss.

Negan pulled away and said, "Wait!" You were nervous, mentally kicking your self, for just throwing yourself at this man as if your life depended on it. "what if he didn't feel the same" you thought. That's when Negan snapped you out of your thoughts and said,  "Number 2..no way in hell you have a sex tape cause I'm guessing your parents were strict as fuck."

Negan was waiting for your response when you finally said, "yep..I guess you win... can we just go back to making out now?".

Negan grabbed your waist, making you sit on his lap, and replied "by the way...I don't think I'm in love with you, I fuckin' know I'm in love with you!" You both smiled at one another and began kissing each other all over again.

Knight in a Leather Jacket: A Negan Story (Chapter 5)

Summary:  Negan realizes just how much he cares for you when he runs into his old community.

You were tossing and turning all night, it was most likely from the many liquor combinations currently in your stomach or maybe it was due to the horrific nightmares you were having tonight. Whatever it was, you woke up a few hours later in a cold sweat. Now in the old world to cope with your "current condition", you would just watch mindless hours of tv until you would be able to fall asleep, but that was impossible in the new world. Luckily, you still had your portable DVD player your dad had gotten you when you were younger. You got up and reached for the device in the side drawer, then as you were looking for the first season of (y/fav. tv show) through your dvd collection, you heard a moaning coming from the front of the RV.

“What the hell?” You thought to yourself. “ it’s probably nothing just the wind...or maybe a some walkers passing by... OMG what if it’s Brody...what if his group ended up following us to the RV...” with all these thoughts running through your mind, you were scaring the shit out of yourself. Being as independent as you are, you decided to grab your knife and go investigate what was making that low moaning sound.

As you start creeping down the small hallway the sounds got loader and clearer. It seemed like someone was whispering your name. “Shit it’s Brody...” you thought crouching below the windows while gripping your knife even tighter. When you got closer to Negan you realized the whispers and moaning was coming from him, Negan was sleep talking.

“Oh my gosh...” you thought observing the god-like-Man, “ he is totally having a dream about me," you figured, but as you glanced at the sleeping man you saw his growing erection through the blanket, "oh lord...and it’s a sex dream”. Then it dawned on you “ wait... HE’S DREAMING ABOUT HAVING SEX WITH ME!!”

You squealed not knowing if you were excited or embarrassed but your sound made Negan turn toward you. "Shit!" you whispered as you quickly tip-toed back to your room praying he didn’t notice you standing over his sleeping body. Once you were back in bed you started to drift off back to sleep, hoping somehow you could join Negan in his dream.

In the morning you woke up with a bottle of water, some aspirin on your side table, and a note from Negan.

You read the note:

Hey there princess,

I’m gonna go see if there are any other things we can use from the mall. I didn’t want to wake you because as drunk as you were I think sleep would be best for you now. I’ll be back before night fall. Don't worry about me.

P.S: I hoped you enjoyed the show earlier this morning... I could have really used a hand.

You rolled your eyes and laughed then thought out loud, “ great now he’s gonna be extra-sexual toward me... but hey that might not be so bad.” You turned to the mirror and saw your face slowly turn red as a cherry.

After leaving the note for (y/n), Negan got into his truck and left for the mall. As he was driving his mind flashbacked to his dirty dream last night. With (y/n) all over him whispering dirty secrets into his ear and doing things he had never even seen before. Negan smiled at the thought and said to himself , “Damn, if that shit ever comes true I’m gonna have to make her my wife!“

That’s when the thoughts of his late wife Lucille came into his head remembering why he never wanted to remarry.

{ At first they were head over heels in love with each other but once the honeymoon phase was over and reality set in, it’s like they were complete strangers. Always fighting and bitchin’ at one another, Negan would stay out late in order to avoid the stupid fights, when eventually he cheated on Lucille with a variety of women. He blamed his faults on his parents for never showing him a loving example of what a marriage should be. But once he lost Lucille to cancer, he was devastated, and vowed to himself to never get married again because he wasn’t made for a monogamous relationship. }

However, after spending so much time with (y/n) he thought he might want to rethink his thoughts about marriage.

On the road to the abandoned mall, Negan was stopped by two giant trees that had fallen down in the wind last night, blocking his way. "Well, shit how in the hell I'm I gonna get my truck through this shit? There is no way I'm going to carry all the supplies still left with this damn satchel." Negan thought to himself.

All of a sudden Negan heard chainsaws coming from the other side of the fallen trees."Okay boys, its time to put your wimpy ass bodies to use and cut this shit apart. And hurry because we don't got all damn day!" Negan had recognized the voice coming from the other side. He was 99.9 percent sure it was Simon, one of his friends and a fellow leader in his community. But, knowing those psychotic fuckers with "w"s on their foreheads were still on the loose, Negan decided to use a whistle signal Simon and him came up with back in their coaching days. However, if Negan doesn't receive the corresponding signal than hopefully the men on the other side are dumb enough to think his whistle was just a bird, in order to give him enough time to escape.

"Here goes nothin'," Negan thought than released the whistle. It was quite...when suddenly he heard  the correct whistle response come back his way. That's when Simon walked through the small opening of the blockage with a few men in line behind him.

Simon looked surprised and said, "There's that ugly mug I've been missing. We all thought you were dead with that herd destroying our camp." Negan leaned into Simon giving him a bro-mantic hug, with a handshake and a pat on the back.

Negan replied, "It's good to see your ugly ass too, Si. And you know nothing living or dead can kill me... I'M A GODDAMN CAT!" Both leaders chuckled as the other men got back to work removing the trees blocking the road.

"So wha'chu been up to? Were you crying like a lil' bitch all alone?" Simon asked making a sad face.

"There you go again breakin' my balls you sarcastic son of a bitch. To tell you the truth, I actually met a girl." Negan smiled like a school girl.

Simon raised his brow at Negan, "I hope she is living...and human!"

Negan nodded in agreement and stated, "In addition to that, she is a badass and hot as hell!"

"Looks like you got the jackpot! Is she in the truck?" Simon asked pointing toward the run down truck parked behind them.

"No, she is back at the RV."

"That's fan-fuckin'-tastic, you can leave her and follow us back to camp?" Simon started to head toward the other direction when Negan grabbed his arm.

"Well shit I'll come back with you no need to beg...but first I need to ask her if she'll come back with me to the community."

"Damn she must have a pussy of gold," Simon stated then said, "Okay go get her, ill meet you back her tomorrow mornin'." Simon headed back toward the vans on the other side of the trees.

"If only I knew if what Simon said was true... but I do know she isn't worth leaving behind." Negan thought as he headed back to his truck which was on its way back to you.

“Is that everything?” You asked Negan as he was setting the newly found supplies on the small wood table.

“Yep, pretty much darlin’.” He smiled while plopping his masculine body on the small built in couch. “ I just gotta say this couch is actually fuckin’ comfy.” You gave Negan a half smile while putting supplies away still thinking of today’s events. “ Is everything okay (y/n)? You don’t seem like your usually “don’t fuck with me badass” self.” Negan mentioned to you.

“ I...I..umm.. that guy...” You weren't sure how to answer without crying, but before you knew it you were balling your eyes out like a baby. “ I’m sorry...can..we.. just...talk about this later?”

Negan nodded his head and embraced you in a giant bear hug. “Yeah, no problem princess.”

After unloading and sorting the supplies within the RV, you and Negan finally decided you were both hungry. So looking over your recent finds, you suggested some dinner options to Negan, “It looks like we can have beans with a side of day old picked berries or canned carrots with a side of, what looks like stale pretzels.”

“Neither," Negan held up his hand and said, "hang on, I’ll be right back..”. Negan grabbed his flashlight and exited the RV. While he was gone you were trying to think of what he was doing. Clearly, he wasn't going to go hunting for animals this late at night. Even though you didn't have a clock you assumed it was about 10 o'clock at night, which without much light can be very dangerous nowadays.  A few minutes later Negan brought back a small sachel bag from his truck, which had looked like it belonged to Indiana Jones. As Negan walked in you sarcastically said to him, “Hey Dr. Jones did you bring me that crystal skull I’ve been asking for?”

“Hey don’t make fun of the satchel... do you know how many hot fuckin’ women I’ve picked up with this thing.” Negan explained while caressing his bag. You couldn’t help but laugh at the man.“There’s that beautiful smile I’ve been missing!” Negan said with cheer. You started blushing at the handsome man’s comment.

Negan took the precious items (being noodles and a can of tomato sauce) from his bag holding them up in the air and boosted, “ How about spaghetti...It’s kinda my specialty.” 

“Wow, first eggs with bacon and now Spaghetti! You do know how to treat a lady.” You responded with some sass. 

“But wait there’s more...drum roll please..” Negan was waiting for you to start tapping on the table, you rolled your eyes at the man. But once you did he announced in a very loud voice, “with this sweet ass bottle of green apple vodka.”

“My favorite alcoholic beverage. How did you know?” You smiled at Negan going for the bottle.

“Well, when I first saw you I noticed you were sleeping with an empty bottle of this girly vodka.So I just figured it was your favorite because if I thought I was going to be eaten alive by ugly ass walkers then I would want to die with my favorite whiskey.”

You briefly interrupted his story, "remember I was just "testing" my RV's "limits" I had everything under control!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever you say doll face...anyways when we were in that mini-mart in the mall I saw this on the shelf so I said to myself what the hell let’s get drunk tonight, in honor of our victorious supply run!”

“ Awww how sweet! You know if I would have to guess it seems like you like me a little bit, Dr. Jones.” Your horrendous british accent came out and Negan started to laugh with amusement.

"Looks like you've got another accent down for the bedroom..huh (y/n)." Negan smirked at you.

"OMG Negan is all you think about is sex?" You threw a stale pretzel at him.

"Not as much as spaghetti! Let's get cookin' good lookin' !" Negan smiled at you turning around to start dinner. You thought to yourself, "It's a good thing Negan can't read my mind because if he could he wouldn't be cookin' right now."

Once dinner was over, you decided you would cleanup since Negan did all the cooking, so you grabbed all the plates and started to soak them in the sink when Negan asked out of the blue, "This is a pretty fuckin’ nice ass RV... did you find it after the world went to shit or have you had it all along?"

"It was my parents..," you paused for a moment then said, "I still remember when they dreamed about getting one of these things in order to travel across the country."

"and did they?" Negan asked sounding hopeful.

"They got about half-way, Kansas I think, but we mainly used it for family camping trips in the summer. They were good people...man, I sure do miss those days."

“ at least you have those memories, my parents didn’t take me anywhere.” Negan responded with envy in his voice.

“ Were they at least decent parents?” You asked.

“ mmmm...I guess... my dad was never around he was always working and when he was home he was sleeping or drunk. And my mom, shit, she was odd! She was always crying or bitching over something. “

“And I thought my parents were strange. How did you survive your childhood with no parental support? 'Cause I don't think I would be the same person today without them always being there for me.”

“ Let’s just say my friends...their family’s were like yours always there supporting their kid. So when it got rough I would just go over to their houses. One time I actually tried running away but then my girlfriend's dad kicked me out. So I just went back home." Negan laughed trying to ease the tension in his voice. He continued to say, "But I do recall having one bomb ass memory with my crazy ass parents. I was about 10, and my dad had gotten a bonus from work. So my parents and I went to two MLB games at two different stadiums, The Braves were playing the Phillies and then The Nationals were playing the Yankees. I guess you can say that was my road trip memory.” Negan smiled at the happy  memory he just shared with you.

You didn't want the rest of the night to go to waste so you grabbed multiple bottles of liquor and yelled, "Okay, no more reminiscing on the past, let's focus on the present and get this party started." 

After playing multiple drinking games you decided to call it quits and go to bed. "This is... fun..*hiccup* and.. all... but I should probab-baabbaa-llly...bed to head *you giggled*..I mean head to bed now." You explained to Negan trying to sound as sober as possible.

Negan laughed at your behavior and said, "Okay doll, I'll just grab my things and head to the truck."

"Wait you're actually leaving? Like going home... to your house? " You whined at his comment.

"No, I'm gonna give you your space and sleep in my truck, tonight."

"But..it's soooo scaarryyy out..there." You sounded like a 4 year old at this point, "'eff your drunken state" you thought. You then said, "It's okay you can sleep with me.." you suggested to Negan while closing in on his beautiful face. Negan smiled and said, "As much as I would love too, (y/n) I don't think you realize how fuckin' drunk you really are."

"No, no, no I'm not drunk watch this.." You stated your case by trying your best to walk in a straight line when suddenly you fell with Negan catching you before you met the floor.

"Woah girl, okay fine I'll stay but I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight. Deal." Negan commanded to you, as if he was making a deal with his employee.

"Fine," you pouted. "But for your information its much more cozier in my bed..." You winked at Negan swaying your hips down the small hallway.

Right then Negan realized just how easy it could be for a man to fall head over heels in love with you.

Knight in a Leather Jacket: A Negan Story (master list)

Summary: The only person you can trust in this new world is you. Well that's what you thought until you are trapped in your RV with no way out. Thinking that you will die a horrible death, you find out that a mysterious man in a leather jacket comes to your rescue.

Setting: This takes place before Negan and the Saviors found the Sanctuary, had any set rules, and before Negan had multiple wives. The beginning stages of Negan’s group. Also this is a couple of months after the world turned to shit.
