Well, I’m sorry if I used the wrong comparison, but anyway, dreads have been worn by different peoples from different parts of the world in different times, not only by black people.

Plus we Italians aren’t angry and furious about pineapple pizza, I mean we hate it, but we’re not going to crucify you. It just kind of ‘upsets’ us to see it, as we’re very proud of our traditions. And we don’t consider ourselves oppressed.

I like Makoto Shinkai's movies more than I should and it feels kinda strange

Even though his movies are full of mistakes that really irritate me if I think about them, I always feel like they can... I don't know, speak to my soul? That's what it feels like anyway, I feel like I saw something that resonated with me after leaving the cinema

Movies that by every right I should appreciate more can't give me even a fraction of what Makoto's movies give me in terms of emotions and sensations
