here’s a homage to my ‘teens

when you were god,

you were exciting, comfortable and colorful.

my girlhood and all that stuff

but then you were a burden,

you were stressful, waves of constant change and honestly the bane of my existence

you fed me personality types and i painted mosaics of myself over the years onto my body and my tongue, you held me held me through my firsts and my lasts

i’ll probably look back at you in pride and with an urge to tweak my decisions

but i’ll always glance back with a sense of yearning and hope that i’ll make you proud :3
