Ryan Piccirillo will no longer be welcome in our (Boston, metal/hardcore/punk) community due to abusive behavior towards women. In addition to verbal and emotional abuse, it has recently been revealed that Ryan violently raped a former partner, Amanda. He has used his own mental health as a means of control, and blamed a serious suicide attempt on her. After that, he continued to stalk and harass Amanda for months.

His emotional and verbal abuse spans over the course of many years and was experienced by multiple partners. He continues to speak angrily and violently about women that he openly admits to having abused.

Although he has admitted himself for inpatient psychiatric care per Amanda’s wishes, it is unlikely that he will continue treatment to include anger management and batterer prevention now that he has been released. He has refused to acknowledge or apologize for his actions. Therefore, in order to keep the community safe, we ask that you share this statement with friends.
