To anyone who's been reading my Tdxdanganronpa fic I have a small little game I wanna do.

As for the other fics that were requested, they are almost done, I just ended up rewriting one of them I think four times now? It's been fun though, gotta admit
TDI time travel fix-it except that it's Chef who travels to the start of Island fresh off of the reboot season and he's adamant on changing the futures of the kids whose lives were terrible in the OG timeline out of guilt

Gonna be honest, an au/rewrite of total drama where the show takes place years (3-20) after it should have so that the contestants are all adult could go so hard
Like, did they all sign up as adults?
Did they still sign up at 16 but in that universe COVID happened years earlier and lasted longer so they had to wait years to actually film it? Or it was cancelled at the time for difficult reasons but it's still in all of their contracts?
Then there's the personalities and dynamics
Would they still be the same as their teen versions just with added circumstances and life experiences so that it still makes sense?
Like picture Heather with her queen bee-ness still holding onto her highschool life and persona because it was literally the best years of her life and using the camp theme of the show to cling even harder onto it and prove that she's still that it girl, acting out in desperation because she doesn't want to admit that she's unhappy in her life now, the one that that persona led her to. And then she finally learns to let it go and be a better person
Or would their time into adulthood and growing up have changed some of them so that they are different?
Then of course the show itself could be more geared toward the older teens/adults and contain more serious themes that are explored properly instead of being played solely for laughs, like the mental health with Trent and Eva (and Heather and Courtney) or the racial stereotyping and villainising, or the literal stalking with Sierra, or even the injuries and fights
It would also be allowed to be gay
And if I have it my way, femal noah lmao
Neha from -Home Is Where the Heart Is- is based on the Ouran highschool host club from the anime, right? 👀 It reminded me of that anime and *Kaicho wa Maid-sama*
Surprisingly, no!
Although I do love both animes!
It was mainly because I wanted to find a way to include the RR cast in the au outside of the school setting so I was originally thinking some kind of drama club, but then the thought came to me for her working for Chef, a known crossdresser, and the idea just took route: Chef's Crossdressing Cafe (or Chef's for start)
However, I do definitely see where the similarities come from because it is a cafe where every server has their own gimmick/archetype (not including the crossdressing) that they play into. Basically the customer gets to choose how they want to be treated during their time
Same goes for skills and entertainment and stuff, so kind of like a courtesan house (which maid cafés originate from funnily enough) where the courtesans are all skilled and have talents in various stuff but taken into more of a modern lens and without the sex aspect- Chef made the place so he could freely express himself, earn a little cash, and maybe do a little hustle on the side, not to force or have his employers be taken advantage
Security is incredibly strict there and Chef takes care of everything personally
And technically, after it's reached a certain time it counts more as a club than a café since the menu shifts up and chef allows the selling and drinking of alcohol. The alliteration still works tho!
As for the cafe itself, you have two options, you can either sit on the ground floor where you can request a specific server for your time/have one randomly chosen, or you can book a private room and specific server
The latter is mainly for whenever someone wants/requires the talents of the server they requested, when the person/group wants privacy, or used for richer clients in general
As for Neha she mainly does ground floor work and the private rooms is usually for the RR D&D sessions where she literally gets paid to play games with them
As for the uniform, yeahhh, it's maid dresses and butler suits, once again crossdressing
And there may or may not be some illegal stuff going on on the side.... (There is, it's basically an info hub for Chef's old military pals and other people who might be involved with that kind of stuff in general, hence the varied talents and the reason it makes so much cash despite being a niche place)
I just thought it'd be a fun place that can translate across different non-TD aus!
And a reason to fit Neha into the story without her needing to go to highschool (or be in the same year/school)
Like imagine and alenoah in this setting where Alejandro is looking for some kind of information that'd finally let him get one up on his brother
Or a fake dating nortney where Courtney hires her to play her 'boyfriend' to make her ex (Duncan) jealous or for a family event with her parents
Or even a nortney where Courtney wants to get revenge on Duncan and Gwen after they cheated and finds out about the place from Eva
Or any ship where the love interest is freshly heartbroken and comes to the café to get drunk and Neha's working the shift and they start visiting during the day
Or going more down the maid-sama route where classmates find out about her secret and forcibly befriend/try to bully her
Or even any of them getting a job there and working alongside her!
It's just so varied for a setting and can be switched from cafe to club in barely a beat!!!!
New au idea that includes female noah! The cosplaying one
A couple of aus I've done include lyler being a couple who cosplays sometimes, so why not make it a full blown au?
Basically Tyler, huge fan of different shows including anime (it all started with the sports anime and devolved from there, he honestly seems like the type), wants to start cosplaying
And he's super embarrassed about it because it's not a manly thing to do, nor is it a pretty common hobby with anyone he knows
So while he's all insecure about it, he does still try but because of the whole trying to be sneaky about it and only ever doing it in private he has pretty
It all changes when Lindsay walks in on an attempt and instead of being disgusted or dumping him like he feared (and kinda expected), she's incredibly excited and immediately starts questioning him on it
And of course, Lindsay wouldn't be a good girlfriend if she let her boyfriend wear bad outfits! So she starts using her eye for fashion and things she read about in magazines to help make cosplays for him, work she can't really make any from scratch
She also totally wears her own too whenever she can match (and when Tyler gets her hooked on a show)
Basically the entire au is about the two learning the ins and outs of cosplaying, as well as being involved in other fan related things
As their mini journey progresses they end up collecting a group of friends that help them be the best cosplayers ever, and who just so coincidentally have their own interests with some even picking up/exploring other fan content hobbies (like writing/reading fanfic, making fanart or even fansongs and comics)
For instance, when they want to start making the cosplays from scratch and Lindsay wants to actually learn the more complicated patterns, Katie ends up helping them
Or when they want to do a photo shoot and need a background or even props to go with the cosplay then Sadie is volunteered by Katie
Beth totally helps with taking the photos and joins in whenever she can- she even suggests new shows or comics/manga for them
Neha gets (involuntarily) involved with the crossdressing aspect (as well as anything that involves altering face shape or body shape), for both Lindsay and Tyler and ends up helping them with wig care and styling too
DJ somehow gets dragged into doing a group cosplay and gets to go on a journey to regain his confidence back!
Could work as a 'behind the scenes' au where this is all happening while the other contestants are competing, and low-key affect the competition (or at the very least character relationships)
Or, could work in a highschool au, or even an adult au (both TD and non TD)
Hell, even a 'TD took place 5 to 20 years later' with either the characters getting aged up to match the timeline or they were all just born later
If it was a behind the scenes then having another character walk in on him attempting to cosplay and Lindsay getting involved after her elimination would also work so well
Actually Tyler finding out about Neha/seeing her makeup or wig or setup or something and pestering her to help him would also be pretty funny
That would probably take place from the start of action onwards
Omg wait, this'd actually be super cute as a friendship fic starring all of the contestants not competing in action at the start and becoming a friend group, with a couple of additions from those who are like Lindsay, Beth, DJ, and maybe Izzy and Trent
Like the ones who don't really have/stick with an official friend group
Though I do think it'd be cuter as a small group
But just imagine Courtney getting into fanfic on the side because she's getting invested in the ships, or her and Neha discussing and dissecting one they both read and enjoyed
As for how Sierra, the resident fangirl, would eventually fit into this I see it one of two ways
She gets added into the group and becomes more chill
Or the group don't like her since she acts like the embodiments of toxic fan culture - could even be a mix of both tbh

And then people just heard the pronunciation and assumed it was the name Noah
Like, just picture that at one point they have to write their names or sign an autograph or something and someone tells her she spelt her name wrong and that's how it's revealed!
This would probably go down the ohshc path where she isn't purposefully dressing like a guy and it's literally just circumstances and misunderstandings
Neva but it's toxic Yuri that devolved from their first meeting into possessive apathetic collector and her obsessive loyal mutt (affectionate)
Same goes with poly team E-scope actually, they're all corrupting each other (or even Neha/Noah and Izzy corrupting Eva) and they're all very much okay with it, doing very much heinous and illegal acts out of 'affection'
Hell, Nizzy is so ripe for potential angst and toxicity that it's actually really fun, tho I could go on and on about the potential Nizzy dynamics and relationships....they make me sick
It was such a missed oppurtunity for Beth not competing in World Tour. I really loved the relationship she and Lindsay had in Action, and add Tyler in the mix. We've could have gotten sweet friendship, the three of them would be just like Team E-scope (sort of). And I wish the made Lindsey be the leader of Team Victory, like she did in Action. The writers simply forgot about all that made her even dumber in World Tour.
I definitely wouldn't say that they're just like team E-scope because of what makes team E-scope works, plus their dynamics, are completely different then what makes the Tyler Lindsay and Beth trio work and their dynamic- they're their own group and get their own thing!
However, I do 100% agree that Lindsay's characterisation was one of the many things butchered in WT (I love the season, but there are so many changes I would have made and so many decisions that pains me, hence the different aus!)
And I also agree that we should have seen the trio interact
Because yes, they could have been sweet and good friends who support and help each other, but there is a different potential dynamic, and thats a minor rivalry between Tyler and Beth
Especially in WT where Lindsay is struggling with names slightly but then picture Beth's being the only one she can outright remember
Or even if they're all on different teams where only one of them is on the same one as Lindsay
Or where they both are and both want to step up as her second in command
And this can go one of two ways, either a rivalry born of jealousy, or a friendly playful rivalry where they still compete but also encourage each other!
not to bug you or rush you on this but do you know when you are going to update your Nortney fic? Loser, Honey and Lace or something like that are definitely my favorite fics from you (i love all of your fics tho) and are quite possibly also two of my top fics of all time tbh.
also if you are accepting fic requests a part two on Lace or something like that would be delicious. I have no real idea what direction it would go in other than a reveal mid competition (entirely up to you) but just seeing Neha be revealed as a girl with bestie “i respect women” Tyler on her side with maybe a little alenoah would be amazing if possible.

And I wasn't planning on continuing lace or something like that, I might later on but it's not really my priority

More Neha and José shenanigans I ended up drawing (ft. Jealous Aleheather + Justin)
I definitely am planning on drawing more of the trio and their whole thing towards José and Neha’s ‘relationship’. I do have a comic idea for it I’m working on now.

Just wanted to add on to my RR was scripted headcannon and make a fun little au out of it, female noah obvs
Neha and Owen were both very much involved in the writing process of this
They met Don on another TV show and he mentioned how he had always wanted to make a show to parody TD and Chris who he doesn't really like
Meanwhile Neha also doesn't like Chris at this moment thanks to what went down in WT so as soon as she hears it she decides that she's gonna make it a reality and ensure this project goes through
Owens kinda just going with the flow here
Also, Neha is totally using it cathartically like giving 'Noah' a girlfriend when Chris would constantly tell her that 'Noah' was just an extra and who'd want to date an extra
She also is the main brain behind the challenges using her experience working for Chris with this- however this is the reason that she can't have her and Owen's team win it
Geoff joining was a complete coincidence
The entire thing is not wholly scripted, it's more like the placement of each pair is pre decided with the ones in the latter half given character arcs
It's completely up to them how they get there so it is improv central bar very specific scenes
However they do also do multiple takes on certain parts and pick the best one
Neha and Owen stay behind the scenes after they are out because they are still working on the show, and some of the other pairs are allowed to stay and watch too
Geoff and Brody got banned from set at one point during their elimination era because they kept on over enthusiastically cheering the others on and it ruined a lot of shots
After filming each day, the cast kind of just sit and chill around with each other, sometimes they have a drink, sometimes they just talk, and sometimes they play games- they have a group chat that they still use after the show ended
Neha and Owen have a tradition of having short flings on the different shows they're on and kinda just wing man each other as the bicons they are, this applies to RR so you know, any age appropriate ships ;) they never last passed the season they're on though, it's purely a short term thing for a bit of fun

Emma has weird feelings about the nemma thing purely because she feels weird at the idea of dating a girl the same age as her little sister, even if the age gap isn't that bad, plus it's kind of hard looking at the people younger than her as anything but kids even if they're adults (any older siblings, iykyk)
But she is professional and has fun with the filming, she just doesn't like the idea of it happening off set
Basically, she's fine with the 'Noah' thing for the show but the Neha thing would be too weird for her, they still are good friends though and after a certain point joke on about it a lot
Owen calls himself Neha's assistant when they're on set- he's not, but he does constantly go on about it
Low-key need a fic/au where all of the TD cast are ferally codependent after trauma bonding from the show.
Mainly the OG ones cause they spent the most time together.

Could be just a general au/fanfic or a crossover. I mainly thought about it because I was thinking what would happen if the ogs (mainly from the danganronpaxtd au) met the danganronpa students. And the different scenarios for that, like if they ended up going to hopes peak for a bit. And also meeting a certain ultimate despair...
At least a few of them just live together at this point, especially team E-scope, plus Sadie and Katie definitely would’ve lived with each other as soon as they could.
They all keep tabs on each other, even the ones that have tried to stay out of the spotlight.
Honestly I feel like all of their private lives kind of went to hell after being on the show, probably got worse for the ones that kept going back, so they only have each other to lean on in that case. Like even with how brief the time between island and action probably was, it was still probably a huge shift.
Also them defending each other despite any of their issues with one another is so perfect, especially later in life when people try criticizing them and bringing up how they were on the show? Like a random episode clip being posted around and everyone dogpiles the person in it for a while or a gossip site stirring up old drama about a contestant.
I'm also gonna add this, chances are their private lives were shit beforehand
Only certain types of people apply to a reality TV show, and then stay on it even while they know there's a high risk of
Plus with how a lot of them are characterised, it really wouldn't be surprising if (nearly) all of them had a terrible home life, social life, love life, or any combination of the above
Like TD is one of the only shows where you could give everyone a tragic backstory and it would both make sense and wouldn't be too far out of canon or be convoluted
Like none of those kids were in a good place mentally, and they definitely weren't after the show
Which definitely adds to the trauma bonding, they were a bunch of teens who went onto a reality TV show instead of therapy
That is to say though, even during the competition they're probably gonna face problems like family and people from school/their hometowns or cities so that weird overprotection is definitely rearing it's ugly head early on, like during those days in-between island and action
Heather's parents show up after making a comment on using shock therapy on her? The whole cast including Gwen, Beth, and Lindsay are acting like a barrier and not leaving her side
Zeke's family come to collect him? None of the girls are letting that slide and everyone is bullying them into leaving
Lindsay's old school friends come and try to take advantage of her? Heather's leading the charge on tormenting the shit out of them
The people Owen's family owed debt to appear? They're getting home aloned by a bunch of feral teens, or at the very least actively threatened (the Noah/Neha and Duncan team up)
Someone tries to keep an eye out on Justin to make sure he's sticking to his 'diet'? Neha/Noah is hacking into all of their accounts and sharing with the rest of the cast
I am also completely subscribed to the belief that those idiots will always find each other so this is definitely going on far into the future even when they're technically not still in contact (they are, they just don't admit it)
The fun thing about Noah is that despite what he said in the dodgeball episode, the episodes he competes in before this and after this all show signs of him being physically active.
You can't just say that it's a cartoon thing either because there are multiple contestants who are shown to struggle physically and genuinely Noah isn't one of them unless it's for slapstick.
And I just think that's hilarious
Especially the implications: Noah is very much physically capable but chooses to pretend not to be because he can't be bothered or it doesn't benefit him
As with many inconsistencies with Noah, the only exceptions to this are in spin offs but it holds up in the canon frame
That is to say, I don't think anything Noah says (about himself) in canon can really be taken at face value because a loooot of stuff he says contradicts stuff he does 😭
All this to say that you could have a Noah that completely parallels Courtney just without the motivation or even shock the entire cast when he does something he probably shouldn't be able to do. Which does make for some fun fanfic ideas in general tbh
....tho this does also low-key add to my femNoah agenda ;)
I'm gonna address it here but the hat thing is from skatoony, a kids game show, so I don't really class it as canon whatsoever? Mainly because of the crossovers lmao
But then let's say it is counted as in universe canon, like Noah really went on that show during his and Owen's times on the different shows- you still can't really count it as anything to be used as proof for characterisations
Because irl when those kinds of shows happen it's kind of expected for the kids to win, like the adults there have to actively nuke themselves so it's fair for them. So why wouldn't it be the same here? Chances were they would have been given a certain point they have to be out by- like a number of questions or a specific one
And if it's the same Noah who's been actively lying on the show (saying one thing and being able to do another) especially about his physical fitness then yeahhhh, he's not gonna be bothered by acting super weak like some of the other contestants would be. It wouldn't be an insult to his ego compared to other stuff
Then RR kinda gets a pass even though I also don't really count it since it's a spin off like dramarama and not part of the actual canon line?
But I do still stand strong on the show being a scripted parody (low-key the in universe version of TD for TD lmao)
As for the physical capabilities here, ig there's nothing too contradictory? Being blown away doesn't really have much to do with athleticism and more to do with body mass, distribution, and surface area
But Noah does once again show shocking levels of athleticism for someone who 'doesn't work out or do sports'
In conclusion, Noah is a lying liar whose words should never be taken at face value and I genuinely think that's so interesting for his (hercoughcough) character

Originally gonna be a team E-scope thing, but honestly having it be team Chris would be pretty funny- maybe Eva somehow ends up tagging along? Maybe she doesn't
They end up travelling through different universes. That's basically it.
Somehow post Izzy's elimination and Duncan joining the competition, all six (or 7 if Eva's there) of them end up travelling to a random universe and basically have to make their way back to their own via universe hopping
So they essentially go to a random universe, reunite if needed, and find the next 'portal'/complete the task required for them to go to the next one
Sometimes they completely change the timeline of that universe, others they have barely any affect other than a one off character appearances
Oh yeah, and along the way they get close to each other (and alenoah obviously)
Adding female Noah would basically just be a challenge for her to see how many universes she can go without being found out. It's not many
Kinda just an excuse to shove those idiots into as many fandoms and situations as possible
