okay so theres obviously jade, but besides ber paoyu is the closest to ruggie!! they had pretty similar upbringings and overall just have compatible personalities so theyre good friends 🙏 paoyu likes ruggie a lot lol hes her goat 💔 and i really wanna force her to be nice and be super good friends with rook bc shes my second favorite twstie.. but i fear theres no way to justify it and paoyu is incapable of liking her 😿

ouu okay so like paoyu had lowk been thru 4 different redesigns 🫪 and throughout most of them her personality had stayed relatively the same!! but originally in her first version (that i made when i was like 13 lmao) she was lowk not a yuu and apart of octavinelle and shipped with vil or azul 😣😣 until i realized the absolute BEAYTY of fem jade a year later and switched other september 14 2023 🤤 but paoyu used to be azulz girlfriend.. or vils girlfriend.. which is lowk wild now to think about bc her and vil dont like eachother and her n azul have a strictly kutually beneficial relationship going on without rlly liking eachother that much LMFAO

In a group dynamic, what kind of role does the oc usually fill? Are they a worry wart? A troublemaker? The straight man?

im gonna use heartshackle as an example bc theyre the group paoyu hangs out with the most (excluding her 1on1 time with jade) and shes lowk the sarcastic "i dont care do whatever" older sister type.. paoyus usually the youngest when shes with people in her real world, but shes 17 when she gets to nrc and the rest of the first years are 16 😭 and theyre all idiots. so paoyu kinda feels like shes gotta keep them in place to SOME degree bc theyre friends(ish) and she gives them blunt advice and all that when needed, but she wont really go out of her way to stop them if they male bad decisions. "i told them whatd be best, and if they dont do it and get in trouble then thats their own problem" type thinking 🫡 shes mature and a logical thinker, but they cant really go to her for comforting words or affection (she does show that she cares through acts of service though)

How does your oc interact with the canon narrative? What about it do they change?

in terms of the canon books, paoyu doesnt really do too much that differs from the yuu ingame.. shes just a lot less patient and more unforgiving when it comes to the overblotters. ik a lot of other peoples yuu ocs get super comfortable with all of the twst cast pretty easily and forgive the overblotters after everything happens real quick but if i REALLY think about it, paoyu is deadass terrified being so vulnerable stuck in a foreign WORLD where everybody can do magic except her, and she has no support system or resources. when she gets scared she gets more defensive and meaner ✌️ thats why paoyu is kind of a massive douche to people in nrc but when shes with jade (after becoming best friends and getting comfortable after book 4) and when she was in her home world, shes pretty chalant and a LOT more unserious. theres no miss giggleshits paoyu when theres people trying to mf kill her tho 😭✌️ she HATES the overblotters, which i think is pretty reasonable when shes put in a traumatic near death experience over and over again. and this hate kinda affects the dynamic between her and nearly everybody in the cast 😬 paoyu doesnt like them, and they dont like her. thats whats different between paoyu and the canon yuu but idk if thats what this question was asking lmao

i kinda wanna make the reason that the black carriage arrived again is because ANOTHER magicless teen from paoyus world ends up becoming the next ramshackle prefect and then them and paoyu end up in the coffin together 😭 but like she already knows whats up and theyre a scared 16 year old who doesnt know what the hell is happening and a scary annoyed looking lady is yelling out for a crowley??? wtf is a crowley yo??

paoyu ends up crashing at ramshackle for a little while tho (mainly because she has no housing situation in twst and no money) and becomes some sort of mentor figure for new prefect. paoyu doesnt go to classes or anything tho bc shes old asf, and shes busy with trying to track down jade. turns out its hard finding where someone is when their family is all mysterious and secretive and live in the FUCKING OCEAN 🫩 paoyu dips after a few months tho. when new prefect gets their shit together and adjusts fully 👍
