I must romance Ettir; I dont care if I have -2 Charisma I WILL woo this gorgeous esoteric angel woman before this quest is done
Sherma singing to wish Hornet luck before she descends I'm gonna cry im gonna CRYYYYYYY ;O;
I'm sorry Hornet for having you entwine your very being to the essence of so many lost bugs, to the point that your soul appears as a cacophany of voices merged into one, the Hunter now just one of all the aspects you now represent, your down pogo is just kinda hard to use
I GOT THE TWISTED CHILD ENDING LETS GOOOOOOOO
I've been planning out a Silksong mod that would add new quests which requires going to the top of Mount Fay multiple times, and I was considering trying to figure out a way for people to like fast travel to it like an elevator, but I have come to realize. I just like climbing Mount Fay. So sucks to be everyone else, everyone's gonna climb lmao
not gonna lie, very sad about the reward for completing that fuckass platforming area. but if a mask shard was locked behind that, it would be probably worse. idk i guess i was hoping for like a memory or something. but in it's own way it is cool just reading the skrill journal entry.
Please tell me there isnt much after the blue floating bugs
Im sure there is but i still wish for mercy
All this for a goddamn mushroom
Oh god, how will i get back down after
so like, its absolutely gonna take me over 100hrs to complete silksong because i'm sorry, WHAT is above The Cradle?? WHAT IS THIS??? SIR????
Grand Mother Silk, can you please stop screaming in agony, I'm trying to juggle fleas
I truly love the parallels you can pull between the Second Sentinel and Hornet in Hollow Knight. They both have single-phase boss fights where it feels more like a duel than almost any other fights in the game, both testing the characters to find their convictions and strength, and both becoming allies by the end. Hornet was a self-proclaimed Sentinel of her homeland; it's no wonder she felt kinship with them in the end. It's so ;v;
If i get my tablet sensitivity working again (havent used it in forever) I want to actually start the Silksong skin mod I've been thinking about. Hornet has so many sprites though oml. Girl, do you need all those??
Reaching the end of Shakra's quest nearly made me cry. Not just for the scene, but for the setting. Seeing what Bilewater looked like before the pollution; it was so beautiful. Just like finding the tiny bamboo grove at the top of Greymoor. They were lush, the were wonderful, before sitting in the shadow of the Citadel. They were destroyed, and for what? I just sat under the waterfall for a long time.
Then I remembered I still had to climb out of Bilewater with two masks and I nearly cried again
hey, spoilers, but was anyone gonna tell me that "the tiny bamboo grove at the top of Greymoor" was an entirely new area, or was I supposed to visit it again mournfully and jump around it myself. holy fuck this game is massive
First Sinner, you are gorgeous and tragic, but you will never be Widow. I miss my wife. Her scuttles. Forever gone.
The Sands of Karak has to be one of my favorite areas (despite my hatred of driznits). The platforning is very fun and so satisfying to get down, and the colors are fantastic. Finding it was such a genuine moment of amazement for me like "holy shit, this game is massive". Idk, its jyst so cool fr

Silksong is insane; stumbled into a parkour section and i died pretty far up and was like "dang thats rad but like no way required lol" and then looked at my map and saw my cocoon was halfway to the Architecht's Melody like I'M SORRY??? FOR REAL????
Getting to the top (genuinely amazing, fun area, incredible end) then attempting to main menu quit to the last bench only to learn it AUTO SAVES AT THE TOP like "nah you"re getting out of here the way you came or you'll die trying :) " EVIL
