It’s late. Already news has reached across the Kingdoms and the Alliance and Horde have both been mobilized-- in force.
I’ve been spending my time in Thelsamar. I haven’t seen this flyspeck of a town this alive since before the Cataclysm... I’ve spied my fair share of polished suits of armor and insignias. Your mercenary types, your adventurers... no shortage of dwarves, either. A few church folk too, I noticed. Makes sense... after all, Twilight matters seem to be their forte. Making up for past sins, are we...?
I’ve written to Caleb out in Hillsbrad. He’s told me the Horde have had some trouble moving into Tarren Mill. Something about an Alliance war party with quite the beef for the Forsaken. Can’t say I blame them, personally... although, he described the union as “grisly”.
All in all... the sheer force that the Alliance and Horde are putting out for this threat is astonishing. A relief, even, that they have the men to spare despite the Legion. It bodes well... although I would be a liar if I said I had high hopes.
