Client sketch vs. final illustration

When someone commissions me, I absolutely love getting a rough sketch/doodle of their concept—it makes the first steps of an illustration (composition/posing) so much easier.

I'll never ever judge a client for a messy sketch!! (And also, no pressure to send something like this if you'd like the artist to take the creative reins on your piece.)

Under the cut are 8.5x11 pages of the individual pieces so one may print them out. Or I can give people the .psd file. Sorry the gif looks crunchy. I have a better one but its too fat for every website lol

Unfortunately art fight is the only place where everyones neatly organized rip. On my blog I’ve sometimes tagged my ocs under ‘twi’s ocs’ but that doesn’t have all of them. ‘oc’ and ‘original character’ are also tags I’ve used but I’ve also used them for commissions of other characters that aren’t mine apparently. Im so lazy about properly organizing my posts or just posting things at all im sorry

Art block choice paralysis and skill depreciation lead me to an outlaw star fanart that was stuck in my head for like 5ever

It was always my headcanon that Gene’s scars were from reentry from that time he was stuck in space and that the star map to the galactic lay-line is embedded into nelphina’s circutry
