A: welcome to the fandom, I think we're all hopeless romantics here so you'll be right at home! I know a lot more guys that love the series than you'd think (not that society makes it socially acceptable for anyone to like twilight tbh). That's always been the dream for me too so I totally agree with this!
A: Thank you for the question! I wasn’t sure whether you meant my favourite from each soundtrack or just my favourite overall so I thought I’d cover all bases and give you both:

A: hmm I have mixed feelings about this one, on one hand I would love to have more content on Jacob, the wolfpack and the Cullen’s but at the same time I feel like we know how Jacob’s story ends and I would love to see her branch out and look at other aspects of the twilight universe like with the children of the moon or the Volturi.
A: I don't think yours is that unpopular an opinion at all. I know a lot of people that don't like Edward but unfortunately I am not one of them. I relate to Edward a lot so I have a lot of empathy for his character, that doesn't mean that I agree with the things that he's done at all but I can understand his thinking behind all those poor choices. I think most of the problems stem from his huge self-loathing for what he is and the things he's done. He believes that Bella is too good for the life he leads and that she only likes him because of all his vampiric charms (because heaven forbid she actually like him for him ya know?) so he thinks his feelings are stronger. He's never been in love before and by constantly trying to do what's best for Bella he makes mistakes along the way when we know that it's not but then again we see it from Bella's POV most of the time so we know what she's really thinking/feeling and what she really wants, she also thinks that he's this perfect being when he's really, actually, very flawed so when he does make mistakes we as the reader are shocked at how badly he's messed up when I'm sure if we read it from his POV it'd make a lot more sense. I think it's very difficult for Edward and Bella to be equals when she's still human because there'll always be that barrier there but I feel like we see them on a much more level playing field when she eventually does become a vampire. I think in hindsight Edward wouldn't have made so many mistakes if he'd have known how things were going to turn out in the end.
A: I know a lot of people that feel this way about the series, including Stephenie herself. I can't say that Jacob is personally one of my favourite characters from the series but he definitely holds a special place in my heart. I would love to have a friend as loyal and unwavering as him.
A: from what I've seen from the fandom on tumblr everybody is really nice and welcoming of people, it's pretty much okay to just interact with anyone! I'd say the best thing to do if you don't want to immediately just straight up message someone is to just try to get involved with different things (e.g. read-alongs), try to get involved with discussions and don't be afraid of anyone because from what I've seen nobody on here thinks that they're better than anyone else and everyone is very open to chatting with others because we all have twilight in common. I really hope that helps and perhaps anyone who wouldn't mind if this person wanted to discuss anything twilight retaliated could respond to this post so the sender can see.
A: it's so nice to get a confession that involves the wolfpack because I don't get many! I adore the wolfpack so so much, the detail that goes into their history is incredible, it's one of my fave things about the series!
A: Agree! Jasper is a dreamboat! I think it's the whole empath thing.
A: this is a headcanon I did not know I needed until I read this.
A: you're not the only one. I think a lot of us have kind of been made to feel embarrassed about owning up to liking the saga over the years, and there are lots of people who pretend to hate things to cover up the fact that they're embarrassed to admit they like it (I think it's called closet stanning or bandwagon hate), especially when it's something that's sort of socially accepted for people to hate it. If that made any sense?
A: There's definitely nothing wrong with that, I know a lot of people that feel this way about the saga so you're definitely not alone. I don't really know many people that love every aspect of a particular set of books or movies etc. I can definitely relate as there are a few characters and aspects of the saga that I'm not so keen on.
A: omg I thought I was the only person that did this! I love imagining the way their houses would be decorated over the years and the make-up and hair styles they'd have, completely agree.
A: 100% agree! Fanfiction has been my salvation for many many years and those writers do not get enough credit for just putting their work out there for people to read it's so cool.

A: agree, I worry about this too but it's been like 10 years now and the flames have yet to die out so I think we're gonna be okay.
A: this confession was really really relatable for me because I also suffer from anxiety and this is something I used to do as well and to be fair it's something I still do when I'm at my lowest and feel that I don't want to be here anymore. I definitely used to do it a lot more when I was younger, sometimes these characters were my only comfort and my only friends so yeah I definitely understand this confession and if you ever feel like talking please feel free to message me.
A: I think that's the magic of the series, that it was like this for a lot of people, I know it definitely was more than ink on paper for me too especially in that time of my life so I can definitely agree with this. Just know that, even if physically, the characters aren't really here, the story is always a source of comfort and light for you. You will get your own fairytale ending and you can still keep the story with you.
