“AND EV’RY KIDDIE THAT GETS IN HERE IS AUTOMATICALLY VERMIN AND SHOULD BE USED AS AN INGREDIENT, GOT THAT? ARTHUR?!” He stormed off, slamming the door behind him too loudly that a couple of pots and pans placed on a wall shelf moved forward and crashed onto the ground!

With a loud snort and swinging his head back up, he’s now awake thanks to the new individual who stumbled into the kitchen. A momentary pause later, his eyes now adjusted, he greeted the newcomer with his eyes narrowed and both of his grubby hands fixing his hat.

“What? My brother? Probably sleeping on MY bed again upstairs. Or washing the dishes. I don’t know.” He softly spoke up; speaking in murmurs. Hey! Suddenly waking up to answer a question is hard, y’know?

With his back turned on her, the cook was busy hacking at something with a cleaver, the sound of sharp steel hitting the wooden board a single time was definitely louder than all of the sound that the boiling, bubbling cauldrons were making combined.

Red liquid were flying left and right in front of the busy chef, until finally stopping… Dropping the cleaver next to the board and doing something with whatever he’s cutting with bis bare hands.

One sickening squelch later, the first twin turned around, holding a still-pulsating red… thing? If you could even call it a “thing”, that is.

“Wash it. Immediately.” Spoke the chef, with a deep guttural voice, with an inflection that you could tell that this twin is being a lazy grump again. But he doesn’t have a choice. The guests…

The guests must be satisfied.

“Yessir, right away.” she replied and takes the red meat out of his chubby and blood covered fingers and quickly walks towards the nearest sink- - - 

once she was finished washing away whatever was left from it, she hurries back while it was still wet and dripping,

“here ya’ go sir, all washed up..” she placed the meat in front of him and steps back a little and drying her hands with her apron

Turning around, he took the pulsating meat back from her with his sausagey fingers. He was just done creating sauce for marinading the meat, storing the mixed liquid in a bowl. "Thank you. Now, go and take four colored bell peppers and one large onion. The bell peppers need to be cut into two to three pieces each, and the onion needs to be cut into large wedges."

He turned back around, facing the counter, placing the meat on the chopping board and begin slicing it into little cutlets. Sometimes stopping to have one of his usual coughing fits.

The first chef twin has obviously worked better days than this.

ok! i had experience with this!… someone.. ONE PERSON… on tumblr, had a cringe blog, and they uploaded MY ART of myself (bela my cat oc) and Red from angry birds as a couple, and they called it the “worst ship” and so on and so forth..i asked them to take it down after about an hour of people on tumblr and DA telling me about it…. he did not respond… through message nor asks, he did not respond and or take it down so reported him…

Don’t let people make fun of you for liking japanese culture.

I am living in japan right now and let me tell ya:

There are people here who can’t speak or understand English who play nothing but Missy elliot and ludacris, even in businesses like housing offices and restaurants.

There are people who have cowboy hats and dead cow skulls in their home because they idolize what they assume American homes are like.

There are people who learn English strictly through music videos and American television shows.

There are entire karaoke bars with english songs often sung by people who have no idea what the lyrics mean.

Japan often takes American shows like the powerpuff girls and make japanese versions of them.

They often mistake common Americans for celebrities. I have been mistaken for Micheal jordan, tiger woods, Shaquille o'neal, Tyler perry, and saddest of all: queen latifa.

The act of sprinkling English into your japanese sentences is considered cute and cool and is popular with teenagers. Bonus points if you happen to use it correctly.

Japanese stores sell shirts with english on them and people buy them not knowing that most of those word combinations are nonsense.

Don’t let someone shame you for singing an anime opening, using japanese in your sentences, wearing clothing with japanese on it, ect. If anything, this is just one more thing that you have in common with them.

Arby’s video game love is on point

I got some thoughts on Little Nightmares. As usual for me, I am more interested in everybody else and not the main character. Typical me.

Anyway as far as the world goes the basics are not hard to grasp. You are a human on a giant’s vessel. Giants were known to be maneaters in many of the different cultures they appear in, so raising and preparing human like domesticated livestock is no big surprise.  

What I am interested in is this particular crew. Been looking at things and the websites and I got some info. Like many others, the sight of fat customers coming aboard to eat en masse reminded me of tourism/the food industry-and with The Lady looming over as she does, it’s not hard to deduce she runs this eatery. Now here’s what it says about “The Lady” on the site -

“Admist the chaos of the world outside, The Maw is the only place that makes sense.”

It gives off the impression she might have been drifting before, lost, without a purpose and without a place to belong. Obviously she looks Japanese and aside from the eatery, not a lot of other places in the boat follow that aesthetic. She is far from home. But not just that-I think the others were lost too-if fact I think they were all together before as well. Look at this one-

-”he fled the world and found The Maw.”  People point out the painting of The Lady with other shadowy figures when contemplating the identity of Six, but you’ll notice the other pictures are quite interesting too. I believe our man here is in one of them-the chefs too. 

With the chefs, I’m thinking they were probably twins who were born fused together separated a little after birth-more on that theory later though.

 Mr. Legless sure looks like Mr. Arms tho. That The Lady keeps pictures of them gives me the impression they must have all known each other for a long time-predating The Maw. 

Not only that, but they are all wearing masks. The Janitor’s mask seems to be peeling and blocks his view, The chefs can be seen scratching under their mask and The Lady is wearing a much more obvious mask. Perhaps they are all from the same place and are trying to “blend in” with their new found culture/people. -Another interesting possibility-they are outcasts even among giants. The smashed mirrors, the masks and the Janitor - maybe these were originally a band of misfits-rejected at home who drifted aimlessly for a while before finding a place to belong, a place that “makes sense”. 

After all, no one cares what you look like if you’re serving up grub. 

This game, I hear, was originally called Hunger. Once you play the game yourself, you’ll see how that theme remains. Hunger drives what we assumed to be an innocent little girl to prefer to kill and eat others savagely to survive. Hunger can take you dark places. The Maw itself is a dark place, I’ve heard a youtuber comment after seeing it all that Six became “like them”. 

Perhaps hunger was also what drove them to such an extreme. Fattening, slaughtering, serving, in an endless cycle. It’s not pretty but it keeps them alive. It’s a purpose-it’s a living. 

Maybe this was something the game was trying to get across. How ruthless the fight for survival can really be and how things like good and evil can sometimes be made to take a backseat when you’re starving to death.
