I absolutely adore how the scene where Dan and Herbert fight reanimated Rufus is written—not only is it tense in the exact right way, but Dan seeing Herbert’s mask really slip for the first time is handled so well

Also Herbert’s serene face and silent laughter is SO good, from both a horror and homoeroticism perspective
