It’s cool to see everybody having these big plans for Spring Break. Kind of makes me feel like I should be doing more than reading but, it hasn’t officially started anyway, right? Either way, hope everyone has a good time, and come back safe and sound.

I don’t necessarily have what I’d consider big plans. Madison and I are staying home to house-sit while the parents are away but that means endless television marathons and maybe junk-food if Madison lets me. Plans don’t have to be lavish or expensive to be great. What are you going to be reading?

I can already tell you that its the most boring thing in this entire world. I think you’re very lucky to have a sister to have always by your side. 

How sweet  I’m sure the Warblers will do the same for the New Directions. Though I would probably go see you guys even without the Warblers. Its very impressive

I’m very lucky to have her always by my side too. I’m not sure I’d know who I was without her to be honest. Even the thought is scary. At least you have, you know, independence. Not that I’m not independent, but I wouldn’t chose to not have her around and - you know what I mean.

Really? Gosh, that’s so nice of you. I think our respective groups have really impressive strengths.

It’s not like I wanted it to hurt. But I was bored and I’m not supposed to have sex with anyone else. But I figured this wasn’t against the rules. 

Some people are into that whole pain thing, but it was never really my mug of whiskey.

I’m on the detox too and I’m almost 100% sure that self-love is totally okay. At least, I hope so.

Sadly, it’s more ‘pulling’ than ‘pushing’ if you know what I mean. But that’s fine. I mean, I’m probably too young to be doing that with anyone else anyway.

That if you masturbate enough times then it gets sore and feels like it’ll fall off?

I’ve never had to face that problem before, but they should warn people. Stupid detox.

...I’ve never experienced that problem, but doesn’t that seem counter-intuitive? Pushing it to the point of hurting, I mean. It’s supposed to be pleasurable, isn’t it?

Exactly. And Coach would’ve probably yelled at you a lot like she did with that girl who fell down and broke her talent. She’s not okay with anything but perfection lately….

That has to cool. I’m only child, I think you might be the first person whose said that having a siblings is kind of cool. They sound… Scary. 

You know it. If you have it might as well show it, right? You know I will be, you’ll see next year or maybe this year if the warblers decide to do anything else during the year.

An only child? That must get...lonely. I can’t imagine a childhood without Madison.

If they do, I’m sure my group will go support whatever it is the Warblers do. Then we can all see you shine.

I have seen that. I have heard about how bonded twins can be and if you and your sister have always been together, it seem kind mean to pull you guys apart. 

Funny, my dad says the same thing but I always tell him that is not that I’m full of myself but that I awesome enough to pull it off. Thanks! I can’t say that I’m not nervous but I know I can do it. Yeah, maybe next year I’ll kick your butts.

Mhm. We’re maybe the most bonded twins in the world. Well, asides from The Silent Twins Jennifer and June Gibbons, but then again they were bonded in the creepy psychopathic and problematic way so maybe that doesn’t count.

Exactly! It’s not cockiness if you have the skill to back it up. I’ve been cheerleading and singing for years, so I know we’re good. What about you? How long have you been singing? If you end up being the Warbler’s secret weapon next year I’m going to be slightly peeved that I was so nice to you.

That’s would have been awesome, you seem really nice but I’ve heard really good thing about McKinley and so far people are really nice from there. 

I don’t think you were rambling. I kind of like hearing other people’s story. Well kind of. I still haven’t tried out for warblers.

Oh, no, McKinley is full of nice and talented people and I’m glad Madison and I ended up here. Still, if my parents thought for a second they could send us both to a boarding school, they would. They almost considered sending Madison to the sister school and me to Dalton but they know separating us is insanity.

That’s convenient, since I kind of can’t stop talking about myself. My mom says that I’m so full of myself that that’s why I have a twin. Oh, well, good luck with trying out! I’m sure you’ll kill it and next year maybe you’ll all have a chance against us.

I’m not sure.  I don’t know much about Hairspray, so I don’t know if there is a part that I would fit.  Plus I kind of feel with Nationals on the horizon, it’s my job as co-captain of the New Directions to help make sure we are in tip top shape for that, and to  just support any of the New Directions that make the musical.  The New Directions really is my focus and priority here.

Well, I think you’d make a great Corny Collins or even a Mr. Turnblad if you wanted to be but I totally get wanting to keep your eye on the prize. It’s part of what makes you a great captain.

Not that I’m aware of; no.  But now that the Warblers don’t have Nationals to keep practicing for, perhaps we can make this a special project of sorts.  An all male cast of the Sound of Music?

That would be a fun use of your time, I think. It’s obvious that there are amazing performers at your school so really any musical you put out would be a treat. What about an all male cast of Into the Woods?

It’s true; I do.  I’m glad you’re excited though; I mean how’s that saying go?  “There are no small parts, only small people?”  I suppose we are on a bit of a roll.  Go McKinley, go Titans, go New Directions!

Yes, exactly: “there are no small parts, only small actors.” And I intend on making the most of whatever time on stage I get because, after all, in the game of theater, everyone wins! Are you going to be trying out?

It was but I manage to get myself in. I wanted a place I could belong and grow professionally and I think Dalton is that place.

Oh. That’s pretty impressive. Our parents liked the idea of us going to Dalton for high school, probably because we’d be living away from home, but if my twin sister couldn’t go, then I obviously couldn’t. Well, that and McKinley has an award winning cheer team and she and I have been cheerleaders since we could walk.

Sorry, I started rambling. But yes, I admire your moxie. Is Dalton everything you’d dreamed it would be?
