Malinda succeeded at her 12th attempt to qualify for the Boston Marathon (BQ) at the 2016 Philadelphia Marathon (3:46:13) and donated her medal to Medals4Mettle, a non-profit organization that facilitates the gifting of marathon, half marathon and triathlon finishers’ medals. Runners from around the world donate their hard earned medals to Medals4Mettle. These medals are awarded to children and adults fighting debilitating illnesses who might not be able to run races, but are in races of their own just to continue to live their lives. It is in honor of their mettle and courage in bravely facing these challenges that they are awarded these medals. 🏅 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🏃♀️ www.medals4mettle.org (at Medals4Mettle)

Thanks again to @leahcville for requesting @malindaannhill's custom #Train2BQ power song by @bella_morte_official. This song was on repeat during the @philly_marathon - Malinda's 12th attempt to qualify for the @bostonmarathon since 2013. When Malinda knew her goal was within reach, she imagined @andydeane singing her song at the finish line. Malinda finished the #PhillyMarathon in 3:46:13 - a personal record and 2018 #BostonQualifier. Malinda chose to run the 2017 #BostonMarathon with @danafarber to raise funds to conquer cancer. Every $1 donated to Malinda's #RunDFMC fundraising page will fund the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. No donation is too small - every $1 helps & we're matching all donations until Malinda reaches her 1st fundraising goal of $5,000. Thanks so much for your support! runDFMC.org/2017/malindah #BeBoston #AbbottWMM #ConquerCancer #TwinsRunBoston #BellaMorte #RunningPlaylist #WeRunTogether (at Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge)
The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC), in collaboration with the Boston Athletic Association, offers the exciting opportunity to run the Boston Marathon® while raising critical funds to benefit the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since taking its first steps in 1990, DFMC has raised millions of dollars, resulting in improved survival rates and quality of life for cancer patients everywhere. Together, let’s run toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. #RunDFMC (via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjorWYatzWs)
Lemon Bash
Don’t say I never made you anything.

Beyonce isn’t the only one with LEMONADE to hype. We’re proud to partner with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization dedicated to curing childhood cancer, to raise both awareness and money for their mission. Alex’s story inspired us to create a new line of delicious lemonades (available starting in May), and 20% of the proceeds will go right to Alex’s Lemonade Stand. We’ll have four all-natural flavors: strawberry mint, mixed berry sage, green tea, and classic lemonade. Unlike Beyonce, our LEMONADE video already dropped. Give it a look to learn more about our partnership.

New Balance and Nail Launch “Nobody Runs Like Boston” Campaign for Boston Marathon
We just launched a new outdoor campaign for New Balance celebrating the Boston marathon. We hope you like it. Particularly if you live in Boston. Because if you don’t like it your life will be hell for the next month or so because it is EVERYWHERE.
From a strategic point of view our insight was to celebrate the hard work of runners.
And nobody works harder than runners in Boston preparing for the Boston Marathon - snow, cold, dark.
Nobody runs like Boston.
From the official New Balance Press Release:
Global athletic leader New Balance today announced its “Nobody Runs Like Boston.” campaign that is dedicated to its hometown city. The campaign highlights the brand’s unique running heritage that is synonymous with the city. The campaign features Boston themed limited edition footwear and apparel, out-of-home advertising and social media elements designed to engage and inspire.
New Balance is launching its out-of-home Boston takeover April 1st with exterior back lit bus shelter wraps, in-race media including light pole banners, MBTA-station dominations and race barricades. For the second year, the New Balance campaign will be featured at the Prudential Center through multiple interior wallscapes, an exterior banner and staircase advertisements that draw attention to the tough and dedicated runners who flock to Boston’s streets every year.
The “Nobody Runs Like Boston.” campaign was developed by Nail Communications of Providence, RI who began working with New Balance in 2014.
Help us reach fundraising goal of $355 to fight childhood cancer! #rnrdc #train2bq 💛💙🍋💙💛
