Translation Service
As you may know, I just quit from my job and currently enjoying a non-stressful days as an unemployed that will soon end I believe. Maybe, I’m a lot more relax now since I don’t have any things to think about but I had to admit, I’m missing my 7-4 grind. There’s a lot of reasons to stay in my previous but there’s also a lot of reason to quit, and since the latter ones won over, I quit.
I’ve been an Assistant Admin in a American-based Orphanage for almost four years, and I have to deal with a lot of people around the globe. Since our support comes from different country, mostly from Asia, Europe and US I have to be very detailed with everything. Adoption documents are also a pain most of the time especially if one of our children will be adopted in a non-English country. And I’ve encountered a lot of checks in different language too! Funny, but yes, I have to deal with it. Documents in different languages also keep on coming in that we have it translated to English. You don’t want to sign anything that you don’t understand, right? And same thing with the documents that we have to send them, it has to be in their language. So in cases like this, we have to hire someone to translate everything, and what a pain because in our end we only have freelancers to do the job for us. It’s so frustrating and stressful! And I have to attend to other things on my job description as well, so you can fairly imagine now why I quit? Haha! As I quit, I found out that there is thing called translation company, a multilingual language solution specialist. Have I known something like this exist, the ambiance in our office will make 180 degree turn. Because I swear, we need a decent translations services all the time that is expert in legal and financial documents. If I have known earlier, I would have stayed. Heh~ But ah, no regrets, still.
If you are dealing with the same problem I’ve encountered, I would say find a translation company who will do the job for you in a professional manner. It would make a lot of difference.
