If you’re an immigrant/refugee, I stand with you. If you are a veteran without housing or struggling to receive benefits, I stand with you.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT tell me I have to support one more than the other. Keep in mind, I’m married to a veteran. I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for those who risked their lives to serve for our country. But being an immigrant or a refugee does not make you any less of a person than a serviceman. It’s about human rights. Not just refugee or veterans’ rights.
