C O N T I N U O U S ▫️I M P R O V E M E N T • • This was my first attempt at the knotless bob inspired look by @pearlthestylist_ I cannot wait to practice this look again… my clients hair was way past bob length so we went a lot longer ….It’s definitely the curls for me, very pleased with the results. F L A T ▫️T W I S T - O U T • • • This is the beginning to a beautiful Twist-out but sometimes that take down can make or break that beautiful Twist-out, I often struggle with patience with my own hair! I am learning to allocate time to care for my own hair, and the first step for me was patience. I would just quickly unravel my twist from the car before I reached my destination but sometimes just adding that extra time and doing it right is best. Now I add extra time for that take down so I don’t have so much frizz, oil those fingertips and patiently unravel those twist. I no longer rush a style if I don’t have time... I will rock beautiful head wraps until I can allocate a sufficient amount of time to take down my twist. • • • What are your go to solutions if you just don’t have time to unravel those twist or they are still wet 🙄, do you rock a hat, wig or head wraps? H E R ▫️C H O I C E • • • My daughter has officially started being very vocal regarding her hair styles, she has pretty much said I choose baby styles for her 🤣 probably right! I am not going to lie, it was hard. I have always decided her hairstyles, clothes and more, now she no longer needs me in that area. She is growing beautifully right before my eyes, and I want to let her do just that, grow. This was a teaching moment for us it’s just hair, and her decision! She is coming into her own and developing her own identity and sense of style. I love the little lady she is becoming! • • • Side note: I wanted to put some designer braids on the side with the twist, I think it really would have been nice but I kept my suggestion to myself and the smile in the end was priceless. She loves her hair. I can’t believe she said I do kid styles on her really 🤷🏽‍♀️ 🤣😂🤣 • • • So, at what age did your daughter start picking their own hairstyle?
