Practicing painting again. Had a long hiatus doing design and production work and I seem to have forgotten my roots. Some of these are originals, paints of photos I’ve taken, multiple reference pics, and some are studies of works by Vasily Polenov.

They are roughly in order from when I picked back up on painting to now. The improvement is showing, at least, so I'm feeling a lot better.

Grumbles received some slight color alterations - and a sans-outline style. It had been a while since she’d had any iterations on how she was painted.

Going to stick with this for now - it’s more natural for me anyway.
