   spinel has been here long enough to adapt . about six months ?? is convinced she moved here from out of state to further her career bc the underground scene in dc was supposed to be bitchin .

    band member !! i don’t have a band name yet but its probably something really fucking stupid . doesn’t make sense but she likes it that way .

   she’s been pulled from the end of the movie but it doesn’t matter bc she doesn’t remember much which is great . she’s still emo though so that’s cool but she thinks she’s fucked up bc of a recent breakup which mirrors her canon situation w pink diamond bc aha i love to hurt .

has any magic affected your character

   she has no memories and she’s human !! no gem but she has a birthmark where it should be . eats , sleeps , spazzes like a human . maybe something she’d appreciate if she did remember everything sghsjk

before washington ;

   born to be nothing more than a playmate . someone to keep the other entertained and happy . she lived for her smile , her laughter . she wouldn’t have it any other way . they were playing a game , or at least that’s what she was told . stand very still in the rose garden , she said , don’t move and you’ll win . and so she stayed still for 6,000 years in fact . spinel found herself wondering if she was playing right as the roses around her began to whither . but still she stayed hopeful , hands clasped as tired reddened eyes continued to wait for the other’s return .

 she never came back . it was during a special broadcast from his son that she realized that her friend deserted her , she never came back to her . she was forgotten and thrown away and there was nothing she could do about it … other than ruin her son’s happily ever after . yeah , that felt right .

she tries her best to do so , undoing her character development after doing the same to his friends . we see her as she was before everything and when she remembers , she comes to terms with that happened . she works on herself w steven , trying her best to be his friend . it backfires as she soon feels scared he’s going to discard her like his mother did even though that is not the case . she’s scared and confused and so she continues with her plan to destroy the world .

it doesn’t work out though thanks to the gems and steven . her plan is foiled and she realizes what she did was wrong and that she also did nothing to deserve what happened to her . in the end she is sent to live with the diamonds in homeworld in order for the four of them to truly grow and start anew .

now , here in washington ;

she’s spinel ‘ ‘nel ‘ flowers . she watched scott pilgrim and was immediately whipped thank u v much . she’s also now a human so she needs to eat and sleep , her gem now replaced with a small tattoo of it instead . she’s physically eighteen y/o and is currently a member in a band . she’s main vocals , screaming her heart with a mic in her hand during their underground performances . may look cool on stage thanks to her outfits n makeup which she works on a lot but is a huge goof . her act mimics mars argo , imagine sweet girl singing unusual and eerie songs like USING YOU !!

 wanted to be an entertainer but being called a Clown as a profession was a lil turn off . so she’s sticking w the band scene . @ me if u want to plot this out or add ur character to the band bc  , , , she needs people GSJSSJ

young new york accent , think harley quinn , anyone could take one look at her and her mannerisms and swear she’s from another time ( because she is ) and she takes it as a compliment . find her constantly doing stupid shit when she’s not on stage , however . she lives for chaos and a good laugh , so much that she’d do quite literally anything for a good time . yes , poor girl is a vandal but she thinks she pulls it off quite nicely .

she’s living at her own shitty apartment , it’s small and cramped but has a homey feeling . it’s full of flowers and plants that she takes care of , her room looking more like a greenhouse than anything . pictures all over the wall as well as album art . a huge paramore and pup fan thank u very much . when a plant dies she holds a memorial service and expects everyone to come . says the stupidest shit , sometimes very crude things but she means well . can be impulsive and brash though . will get into verbal fights for the fun of it . can be seen usually as chill and uncaring though , doesn’t care about other’s opinions , only those she cares about .  

her old tendencies shine the most with said people . she lives to make her friends smile and laugh , will act up just for a chuckle , worries the most when they’re not okay .

spinel’s going through a rough patch though but she blames it on her recent bad breakup . as she closes her eyes for some good night’s rest , she finds her mind drifting to a distant place . she can smell roses , feet the grass beneath her feet , swear she sees the stars passing over her head vividly . such trances used to make her feel peaceful but lately they’ve been driving her insane . it doesn’t feel peaceful anymore . she feels like she can’t wake up from the dream sometimes , like she’s stuck there forever . due to this she tends to be a little more erratic and irritable but she’s trying her best to be okay .

 remembers bits and pieces of her canon . remembers the crystal gems , steven and pink but only their faces . when it comes to pink diamond however she remembers the various feelings felt . happiness , sadness and anger but no specifics . she’s convinced pink diamond and her were childhood friends or something . but she doesn’t talk about . she doesn’t want to since she always gets in a tizzy when she does .

    intern at a local lab , sometimes takes shifts at a local candy shop bc idk why not . find her behind the counter with an open book , sleep deprived in the lab or hiding inside her place bc she’s close to finding a way home for the 26282 time .

   she has all memories and is now also human !! no longer made out of candy she can do other things she couldn’t before like d*e easily than before . not used to her fragile body and its needs but she’s trying her best to get by but other than that she’s magic free !

   bonnibel bubblegum , more commonly known later as princes bubblegum , basically raised herself along with her brother neddy . in her lonesome she decided to create family which didn’t end very well . from then on she created candy people instead who labeled her princess .

  as time goes on she learns how to defend herself with science , how her brains got all smart n stuff because of it . she liked it but it was also deeply stressful . there would be days where she would stay up for days in order to finish an experiment . there were also plenty of experiments gone wrong . she would also always devote her time to the candy kingdom . it grew bigger and there always seemed to be a problem she had to prepare against . in the end , she isolated herself from friends in order to make sure her work and everyone was taken care of .

   princess of the candy kingdom , that’s where you’ll always find her seeing as the candy people depend so much on her . she goes through so much with finn , jake and marceline . it isn’t until the sixth season , when the candy people held an election and voted her out , did she move out to a house she knew during her childhood and begin fresh .

   it doesn’t last for long as she finally accepts the loss of her people and the fact that they so easily let her go despite how devoted she is to them . it also during this time that she reconciles with marcy and helps her greatly during the stakes mini series .

   she also starts a war that ends with them saving ooo from an eviler power lying in the bg .

here , in washington ;

   she’s strictly bonnibel bubblegum , working part time at a candy shop and studying various different sciences . she’s been here for a while , has adapted well enough . of course waking up one day and realizing that this isn’t the post apocalyptic world she knew , and that she wasn’t made of gum , was definitely a lot to handle . she’s still unsure of what the heck is going on but she’s decided to stay rational and keep going until she could go back . she’s trying to go back .

   bonnie does enjoy the downtime and the idea that she’s starting anew , living for herself instead of always taking care of someone else instead . still feels worry in the pit of her stomach though as if she’s not good enough at times . guilt constantly surrounds her , aware of all the mistakes she’s made in the past . bonnibel is convinced she’s a bad person .

   comes off as elegant and enlightened . proper and pristine , sometimes snobby . she knows a lot and isn’t afraid to throw it in ur face but she doesn’t do it to be a jerk . is rash and turbulent , goes through so many different emotions but she’s good at hiding it . she wants to be nicer for all the right reasons but it can be hard . her cold nature is a way to cope but it is part of her downfall .

   lives in a cabin-like house but rarely stays there . she pulls late shifts at the shop or is working in the late hours on experiments . her room ?? a mess . books and test tubes everywhere , lil gadgets she starts and doesn’t finish . comes off preppy due to her fashion style . skirts and collared shirts , dainty mary janes and berets . find her a lot of times still in her pajamas at home though , makeup still on and hair is a nasty bun , listening to the time n place album by kero kero bonito on loop .

this was not what the god of mischief had been expecting. after facing thanos, he thought that had been the end of it. yet there she stood in another american city alive like it hadn’t even happened. “yes!” he cheered out as he spun around in excitement of being alive again. “now where the hell am i?” 

   seeing the other’s theatrics , max could only glare at the other . all she wanted to do was ride her skateboard . her earbuds blasting musing loudly , as to not be bothered . now it stood in her hands , one earbud popped out to hear him , frown overtaking her features . ‘ yeah , woohoo , you’re in boring ass washington . welcome . now , can you get out of the way ? ’

   shoes squeaked underneath her , mary janes releasing a sound that at first made her internally chuckle every time she took a step . but as she tried her best to sneak into the flower shop it only seemed to trouble her . she had never noticed the shop before . only now , during her walk back to her apartment , did spinel notice the beautiful display . thoughts of gifting marcy a few roses swirled happily in her mind . however , everything seemed to stop the second she was met with a beautiful figure . 

   the contrast of the other’s bright hair next to yellow flowers , the green clashing horribly with her own outfit , the fact that she hadn’t notice she stepped on the blue flowers next to her feet . cheeks tinged pink as she suddenly kneeled down for some quick damage control . ‘ gee , i’m so sorry ! ’ she had barely met the other and she was already spouting useless apologies . this was going great . eyes darted between her mess and the girl’s eyes searching for the slightest hint of annoyance . own hands were now covered in mud , yelp escaping her as blue petals began falling the more she tried to help . ‘ oh no , i’m a total klutz ! i’ll pay -- i’ll pay for these , uh , what are they called ? ’ 

   she was done for . spinel didn’t even know her name and all chances of them talking after this were suddenly gone . she couldn’t catch a break , hm ? it couldn’t have been like in the movies . the girl worked in a flower shop ! all she needed to do was walk in and be smooth , chill . deep frown now formed , she reached for the name tag of the poor flowers . teen turned back to the other quickly . ‘ i’ll take these scorpion grasses ! -- wait , what ? really ? who would name ‘em that ? i’m not really in a position to say anything but isn’t a name like that bad for business ? ’

what was she doing here? what was this feeling? it sounded like rocks were clacking against each other inside of her, and she felt empty inside, not the way she had when lapis had left, but in a completely different way that annoyed her to no end. this was an earth city, clearly, but she saw none of her friends, not even garnet. at least, not until she did. springing directly at lapis - human looking, but recognizable and hugging her tightly, she squeezed her eyes shut. “ i can’t believe you’re here! i missed you so much, where are we? have you seen steven? amethyst? pearl? garnet? is pumpkin here? why do you keep leaving me? it’s gonna lose effect some day, you know! ” her words were faster than usual, slurring together and leaving her gasping for breath and wiping tears by the end.

   she wasn’t good with her emotions . anybody would be able to tell , as her feet shuffled in place at the sight of the other . lapis was glad , relieved but expressing such things to her made her uneasy . instead all that she could suffice was her signature smug smile , half-lidded eyes trying their best to come across as nonchalant . she decided to enlighten her companion with some answers instead . ‘ yeah , it’s nice to see you too -- ’ her version of a sincere i missed you too . it was crappy and fucked , she hoped she didn’t notice . ‘ some place called . . dc ? oh , right , pumpkin’s -- ’ words come to a halt . tears . liquid sliding down peridot’s cheeks , the words she proclaimed with no trouble . shoulders became stiff . wide eyes stare at the other’s . what was she supposed to do ? she was at a loss . she still wasn’t used to the idea of someone missing her . lapis had worked through so much with peridot but after everything she went through , in the mirror and with jasper in the sea , it was still hard . clearing her throat , eyes darted across the scenery before them instead . ‘ pumpkin’s with me . i got my own place . nothing too amazing but i’ve already planted a few pumpkin seeds . thought maybe pumpkins like pumpkin would come out . to keep him company , you know ? ’ definitely to keep him company . not her . ‘ pearl’s here too , and steven but don’t worry about them . . how are you ? ’

“And it’s a full time job admiring…” Steven glances at the crowd, strumming his guitar in an upbeat sense with a large grin. He was celebrating after all.

“All the ways that you’re inspiring…” His dad sung this to him when he was 14. It was about his mum. Rose Quartz. But it could easily be applied to anyone you loved and looked up to.

“If I had my way, I’d do it all day.” He flashes a charming smile “The only problem is it doesn’t pay.” Just like his music he supposed.

“I think I need a little cha-a-ange.”

“I think I need a little cha-a-ange.”

“I think I need a little cha-a-a-a-a-a-ange.”

There’s a small pause before he strikes the final chords and bowed his head lightly “Thank you! Thank you, I promise I’ll be right back after my break, until then lets enjoy some music from one of our other singers brand new album. If you like what you hear, make sure to ask anybody around about buying one or finding it on streaming sights.” He waves and leaves the stage, walking to the bar and immediately a glass of water is placed in front of him.

He sighs “Can’t I have soda again?” 

‘No can do kid, got to watch your sugar remember?’ 

“Yeah I know.” He huffs and glances at the girl next to him “Water, I’m the only one who gets water at a bar, aren’t I Lapis.” 

Sulkily he sipped the water but practically spat it out as he began to cough and splutters, choking on the drink “Lapis!” He shouts, staring at her and immediately his shock is replaced by a wide grin “Lapis!” 

The boy wraps the gem in a hug, thank god a hug between them wouldn’t cause a fusion, otherwise he’d probably freak out everyone around them. “You’re here! You’re safe!”

   she notices him the second she hears that familiar voice . it’s ambient , the bar nearly empty , but she couldn’t help but chuckle as he talks to the crowd . placing her hand over her mouth , she deepens her voice to cheer loudly . their friendship was different , versatile , but she still cared for him deeply . he did save her from thousands more years of imprisonment . someone else already had that down .

   ‘ water’s good for you , ’ her honest opinion . he is part human after all and those things were fragile . quickly she makes a face , mouth twisting and eyebrows furrowing . ‘ oh no , i sound like pearl . ’ perhaps she’d been spending too much time with the other gem . it wasn’t all bad though , lapis had warmed up to her severely . still , she wouldn’t ever outwardly admit it . turning back to the teen after their embrace , her lone finger was raised to scratch at her cheek due to her oncoming embarrassment . 

   ‘ of course i’m safe , steven . i know how to take care of myself . ’ words are anything but defensive , girl playfully rolling her eyes at him . words catch in her throat . the burning questions . what happened ? is anyone else here ? is peridot here ? bismuth ? -- not being able to express her worry , she forces a smile instead . ‘ how are you ? i’m so glad you’re here . at least it won’t be just pearl and me anymore . ’

   a few weeks . she’s confused as to why she’s in a different dimension suddenly and since she has no powers , , there’s nothing she could do about it . she’s bummed and misses her family , friends and marco especially .

   she’s supposed to be @ school but she isn’t really up for it . so she quickly got hired at a retail place . think like a bootleg claire’s or hot topic sgtsjs . the pay is ok , enough for her to already have plastered her room in useless junk .

   after the season finale , she’s obviously aged up so !!

   no , she has all her memories and doesn’t want to be here . she wishes she still had magic this one time just to go home .

   star used to come from a line of what she believed to be dignified magical Women , basically . she was the princess of mewni , soon to be queen , but was sought after by her mother basically to mature since she was deemed a Wild child . and so she was sent to earth by her parents to do that . instead she got herself in more trouble , almost dying or having her friend marco almost die . they worked through it , however , and discovered that they were a better working pair than expected . they grew really , really close .

   here in dc , star is the same ol’ childish and silly girl she’s always been but a little more . . sad . she misses everyone and doesn’t understand why everything suddenly had to change . she’s been forced once again to be independent , to Grow up . 

   she’s staying the provided apartments and has made it her own . she’s trying to save up to buy a buggy , a little car she could live in . travel with . she doesn’t want to call one place home . she doesn’t want to feel tied down because she knows the first chance she gets she’s ditching this place to go back to her world . 

   however , her one life saving possession rn is a dingy ipod she found . it has a bunch of 00′s pop classics and she uses it . too much . she’s currently being hit w the realities of the Adulting world , seeing as she spends most of her time working to get by and to keep her busy , and she doesn’t know how to feel about it yet  . . . ..

It was odd how Azula was talking to her but for some reason didn’t react. She had always considered Azula a friend, even when the other did things she didn’t find morally correct. They had always been.. close. She wasn’t all that sure, in her eyes they were. But maybe she was wrong. Just studying the other, listening to what the other was saying, she then hummed. Being a self defense teacher had been a no brainer. She had always been strong, knowing how to take care of herself. So it felt good to work in a field where she got praised for her strength instead of being ridiculed. “I can be your bodyguard. Scaring people have always been one of my favorite hobbies” Mai simply said and shrugged. “I don’t need to get paid for it though. It’s free”

  unsure , not of the agreement but of the other . if anything were to go wrong , if the girl was trying to do something , azula knew revenge would be swift and quick . nobody ever did a good job for free . so she decided not to fret any longer , exuding confidence to keep face . ‘ great , let’s go -- ’ proclaimation is sudden . not even caring to ask the other if she was free , she begins to walk towards the exit . she needed a good test run of her new bodyguard . poor girl , she should’ve charged when she could’ve . where to go . . ‘ let’s go to the mall , hm ? my treat . we can get you out of those awful robes . make you look a little more presentable since you’ll be with me . ’

Mikleo decided to take some time off from performing his Artes to explore the open public area. It was beginning to become refreshing for the humans to notice him. It gave him a taste of what Sorey experienced when travelling through the land. The Seraph was caught off guard suddenly but the promoting girl’s affections; a rose hue creeping onto his cheeks.”M-me?” He did try to brush it off but interactions with girls was not his forte; since he was usually serious with them, or being picked on by Edna.

   ‘ of course i’m talking to you , silly ! ’ wide smile , laughter ensued . she loosens her grip as she moves to stand before him to subconsciously force eye contact . ‘ it’s a singing gig . i sing old hits , mostly jazz and swing but during the middle of the show , when everyone starts to get sleepy , i wake ‘em up by makin’ ‘em dance ! ’ being on stage with all eyes on her really filled her with a rush . all the attention , she could never get tired of it . her eyes close as she thinks back to the audience’s interaction . the sound of internal clapping and whistling  makes the tips of her ears flush pink . spinel is then reminded that , oh yeah , she was talking to somebody . eyes are wide once more as she focuses on his response , eyebrows furrowing . ‘ what ? you wanna a sneak peak or something ? come on , just say the word , buddy ! ’
