plotting call for event #12 - the storm

reply or send an i.m message to set up plots for the event. all the infomation on the characters are under the cut below.

chadley; the island ; his a.i systems are very limited because of the interference of the storm but that will not stop him from trying to help. there is some information stored in his internal database on how to treat injuries and analyse aspects of the island so although he does not have the answers on how to get off the island, he will try his best... despite the stress of his internal malfunction.

luma; washington dc ; poor star child. her cosmic power from rosalina isn’t gonna be much against weeping angels and harpies. she can provide some light if needed but she will be assisting in setting up safe areas in the city; ensuring everyone is fed and safe. she might even try and fend off one with a human defence.

rathalos: the island ; regardless of what disaster is rolled, i am gonna try and write him to be injured but not major; something that would put him out of action for some time. he will suffer a few cuts and sprains which will limit his mobility - and also despise his human body even more. he’s a dragon so he is going to get fired up and get stubborn, trying to move but he ain’t a towering wyvern anymore.. he’s gonna have to get nursed like everyone else.

edward elric; washington dc; if he didn’t believe that there was more than just alchemy in effect, he will now. however, that will not stop him from fighting back. since he is still unsure of the laws of alchemy in the city, he will limit what he does due to equivalent exchange; sticking to his automail arm and possibly setting traps with walls or long range protection.

kaeya alberich: washington dc; as cavalry captain of the knights of favonius, he will be volunteering to assist with the parties who are fighting back; skilled in his sword to battle through the hordes. vision wise; he can use his cryo ability to freeze enemies if they are submerged in water or... (to make the meme a reality) make an ice bridge to safety.

min min: the island; this is her first full interaction with magic that isn’t the ARMS ability so she’s taking it a step at a time. since she is mobile and athletic, she can provide help to collect food or have a vantage point for the group.

balan: washington dc : balan...is a weird case. his powers seem to be dreams and theatre so he can’t do much in terms of full defence but if someone is panicking or alone, he will provide company and comfort to those who may be going through difficult times in the attacks.

clive rosfield: washington dc; the attacks will bring a vision to him of an fire being attacking and someone appearing as his brother but he will still not be sure what it all means or if its just a nightmare caused by the fear of the storm (still remaining unaware until further notice). the figure that looks like joshua will encourage him to fight, tapping into a strength clive didn’t know existed as he seems to be very skilled in real sword fighting.

jiwoon hak; the island; he will have his blades and a pissed off attitude, wanting to know what the heck is going on but it might actually be the entity luring him back; he tries to find clues on what’s going on but once the disasters begin, he will realise that the trails are different and this time, he is the survivor.

jumin han: washington dc; he finds himself in a safe house, wanting to know what is going on and is already sceptical of the magic at work but he will definitely shut up once he sees his first wendigo. someone can teach him how to fight... if his bad end showed him being good with ropes, maybe he can be of use.

minsoo: the island; he has no idea what is going on and is already worried; not in a sense of panic but it brings a strength to the young singer that has never been seen by sparkling or their manager. maybe it will lead him to have a heart to heart and learn about the magic of the city...

Especially from a balcony view like a hotel or a dorm room.” Minsoo could visualise the views he would get back home, sometimes even waking up an hour before schedules. “Yeah. I’m a singer. I perform in a group called Sparkling. Although, I’m taking a little break for a few days.” It was mostly a bluff until he managed to find out what was going on. “Wait, right now?!” Minsoo looked around, not used to such an open offer.

Balan admired the child-like wonder of people who seemed to arrive in this world. It was the same experience he had when he arrived with his Theatre. Mostly because he didn’t have to be confined to the stage. He would wonder, prance, sing and explore; basking in the bright lights. “Isn’t it wonderful?” He exclaimed when he passed a young woman in a similar situation. “This place is just full of surprises. Everywhere you turn there is just something new waiting to be discovered.” As always, Balan was charming and dramatic as ever; the skip in his step giving the illusion of floating above ground.

The loud squeal had her instinctively reaching for her hip, only to remember to that she’s off-duty and therefore unarmed. Though, this proves to be a non-issue as it turns out to have just been an overzealous little kid playing with some others. Letting out a sigh, she relaxed back into the bench, and only then realized her hand was still on her hip. Rolling her eyes at herself, she moved her hand and as she placed both hands in her lap, she let her head drop forward.

“Has anyone figured out the magical ‘off-switch’ for work-brain yet?” she grumbled, before turning to give her benchmate a sheepish grin, knowing full well there was little chance that they hadn’t just witnessed her basically mime a failed attempt at heroics.

The nightmares seemed more real with every night that passed by. And they were slowly getting to Viserion. He couldn’t tell if they really were just dreams or if they were some sort of memory that he has forgotten when he came here. Viserion was still trying to get adjusted to his new body and this place, but mostly he was trying to find a family face, anyone. Min Min was called into a late shift since someone fell ill. Although she wasn’t caught up on sleep yet, she was happy to earn a little extra money and catch up with colleagues. Luckily it wasn’t a busy shift so she was able to get through to the late evening when it was mostly workers grabbing a bite to eat before heading home. Walking close to the booth, she noticed the soft sigh from the person and stopped in her tracks. “Hello there... I was just checking on an order- is everything okay?”

“He was really awful honestly. He took over my aunt’s body and tried to take over my uncle’s body as well, but ended up getting stopped when my uncle jumped into hell and destroyed him. And then all hell broke loose basically. It was absolutely awful.’ He looks down sadly, not liking to think of what happened next. “I saw the Imoogi’s true form when I was a kid. My parental figure dropped these glasses. They were called the Tiger’s Brow and you see past lives. I saw the Imoogi in my aunt. It was absolutely terrifying. But I wouldn’t be scared of seeing another dragon. I would welcome that honestly.” He nods. “I am. I’ve met several other creatures, as I’ve said my family are nine tailed foxes. Me and my aunt are the only humans. I wish I wasn’t human though.”

Rathalos showed a rare display of emotion, his lips parting in shock. “I’m... I’m so sorry you had to experience that...” He had nothing in his world in comparison to the stories he was telling. Most of the Wyverns being primitive or having a form of power linked to their anatomy. “Dragons familiar to me can surpass the highest skyscraper in this city. With the ability to breathe fire... Stereotypical but accurate to a degree.” He was stunned to say the least when the human admitted his views. “Really? Usually humans would be terrified to even imagine a creature existing, yet alone becoming one themselves.”

“Seven!? Man, groups are getting bigger and bigger these days.” Jiwoon chuckled, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. It was tough enough being jealous of the members of his group but NO SPIN was just a small group in comparison. “The debut preparations are usually the toughest because you don’t know the outcome but I’ve heard the name of Between The Lines being passed around tonight. I’ll be looking forward to see what you’re made of.” Despite the flattery of the young rookie knowing him well as a trainee or possible fan; Jiwoon saw himself in Yoo Han; striving to be the best. It was a rare feeling for him but it made him smile nevertheless.

How did you become a singer? I’ve heard a few people talk about it so it must be pretty popular.”

Then you can hold her.”

“Once I got these decorations up for the class, we should definitely go. That would be fun.” Clive managed to set the box down just before the little hedgehog peeked from the pocket. His face perked up with the appearance of the little friend, a small sound of wonder escaping. “Oh my goodness, she is so cute.” He was nervous to even try and feed her, glancing over to Clive for reassurance before offering out the little treat. “Hello there, Daisy. I’m Clive. Nice to meet you...”

Luma could feel her feet leave the ground as she twirled, settling back down as her new dancing partner turned her under his arm. “This is so much fun. It sounds like an intriguing story.” He offered the book for her to do her usual signing. “I try to keep out of it, but scandal seems to follow when it involves your family. I AM ALIVE! I had ten days in a row at work and last night... deserves an Oof. If I missed out the meme day, cools but if its still the two day meme, I’ll try and send out some of the “Sour” memes to transform into starters.

Fleur nodded “Accent could use work but yes that is basically it.” She might not be amazing at English but she had been speaking french all her life.  “That sounds beautiful. What language is that?” She was struggling with English, learning another one or trying to might be a bad idea. “I wouldn’t be too sure my english is passable at best.” She replied with a shrug. “I am sure.” When his back was turned she could do some sort of spell to protect her feet. “I’ve dealt with worse. This is a walk in the park. Literally.” 

“I’m trying to get a little better at other languages- It’s not very good yet.” Minsoo chuckled, ruffling the bright pink hair out of nervous habit. “I’m Korean but I perform a lot in other countries so I try to at least know English so I can talk to people.” He knew his accent was okay and he had a good enough grasp of English. The other members would usually be around to help out but it was just him for now. “At least the grass will be nice and clean to walk through. It is a nice day after all. Might be fun.”

Diego nods, happy he hadn’t seen him pull his wand out. “Perfect.” He smiles when he sees him with the birds. “Are you a big fan of animals too? My dad was a ummmm, zoologist. I mean I guess he still is? This place is weird honestly. But yeah we’re all obsessed with animals in my family. I’m a vet tech! I have a farm as well. You should come visit if you like animals so much! Oh wait!” He points to his pocket. “She’s curled up into a ball sleeping right now, but my hedgehog, Daisy, is here in my shirt pocket. She likes to be with me at all times. If we climb down I can show you her?”

“Really? What is it like? I used to travel to Stables with my brother and we would look after the animals together; but I have never visited a farm before.” Clive was in the midst of talking about his family when he noticed the small wriggle in the other’s pocket. “You have a little hedgehog friend?” His eyes immediately lit up, trying his best to move down the tree so he could take a little peek. “She has such a cute name. I have to meet her.”
