-> A set of light and quiet footsteps go down the stairs. A familiar face, expression vacant, spots the gambler and freeze completely, their limbs going rigid.
"..C-Chance?"
"Two Timer!" -> The gambler pushes on a nervous smile and goes over to the survivalist, taking off his little fedora and placing it against his chest. "Hey, Two Timer..."
-> They just.. Stare. Their smile completely gone, their eyes wide with underlying panic. The only part of their body that was moving was their hands.
-> It took them a long time, but they finally took a single step forward, grabbing hold of Chance's hand and gripping it tightly.
"Chance.. You- You died. They said you.. Died."
-> The gambler messes up his dreads a little as he looks around the mansion, a small hum escaping him. Fuck, where was that ex-cultist when you needed them? - @casino-connoisseur

-> The gambler looks up from his seat on the couch, his hand unconsciously flipping his little coin as he watched the survivalist spin around. "When'd ya get those, Two Timer? Don't remember you bein' a pretty little kitty before!"
"Just now, actually.. Somebody put a little spell on me..!"
-> They grab Chance's hand (the one NOT flipping the coin of course) and smile wide.
"What are your thoughts??"
-> Chance whistles and pulls his hand away, reaching up and gently running his fingers over one of the ex-cultist's cute little kitty ears. "Damn... And these are real too? Real cute look for ya, Two Timer..." -> He tilts his head down slightly, those pretty golden eyes of his peering over his dark shades.
-> Their smile grows and they purr, their ear flicking against Chance's hand.
"I like it very much.. I'm glad you do too."
"Soooo..."
-> He began, his when still absentmindedly rubbing and playing with the other's ear.
"How'd this happen again, Two Timer? You sure this ain't like- Permanent or something?"
"I don't think it is.."
-> They seem a bit saddened by that.
"Someone just kind of.. Appeared! And gave me all these things temporarily."
-> Chance hums and shifts himself a little, patting his lap with a smirk spreading across his face.
"C'mere then, kitty cat! You seem like an affectionate little thing..."
-> Yes! A total score on the gambler's mind!
-> They sit beside Chance, then lay on their side, resting their head on his lap. They curl up around him, purring happily. Not quite what Chance might have been imagining.. But they still cuddled up close to the gambler!
