Imagine Dragons - Believer
Just heard the new Imagine Dragons song and absolutely loved it. Really like the interesting piano/synth part in the verses and his voice is just great. Give it a listen:
Firekid
Die For Alabama by Firekid is one of our favourite songs at the moment. It has such a great groove and the main man is an incredible guitarist. Make sure you don’t only check out this live version. The studio version is amazing and you can find it on Spotify.
JohnnySwim
We discovered a brilliant song by JohnnySwim the other day... Its called Villains and definitely worth a listen. Johnnyswim are Los Angeles based duo composed of Amanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez. Villains is on their second album and it was written in Nashville with Natalie Hemby. Check it out here:
Castro
We just recently discovered sibling trio Castro from Dallas Texas. Their song Automatic has really pulled on our heart strings. It is such a beautiful song and worth sharing with the world :) check out this live version:
A few months ago Sean McConnell made an appearance in London and we were blown away. Tracks like ‘Queen Of Saint Mary`s Choir’ and ´Holy Days` are a staple on our personal playlists. The songwriting is exceptional. When listening to the whole album ´Sean McConnell` we connect to many of the songs, a lot of them being about family values and the rise and fall of being in the music industry. It is truly an album worth getting, it gets better with every listen.
**Exciting News.... We are going to be hosting a Nashville style writers-round in London.
The first one will be on the 3rd of February at the Metropolitan.
When we went to Vienna in the summer we did a couple of live sessions. Here is Better Days with the full band.
#tb to when we played at Bush Hall supporting the wonderful Red Sky July. This was such a great gig and we loved playing at Bush Hall.

Hey Guys we have just released our first single from our 2nd EP. Check it out below, or you can also find it on itunes, spotify, amazon, tidal and many more. :)
Listen/purchase: Just For Now by Two Ways Home
Here is a new video for our track ‘No Longer Mine’. It was filmed at our recent EP Launch at the Underbelly in London. :)
Preview and download Wood For Trees - EP on iTunes.
So, we have stopped doing our Duo of the Week posts now because our EP came out yesterday... we are so excited about it and we hope you like it.
Of course that doesn’t mean we will stop doing covers completely... we will hit you up as soon as another one is live on our Youtube channel.
Ciao for now...
Hey guys, we released our first music video today. So we are interrupting our duo of the week sessions to give you one of our original tracks. :)
DUO OF THE WEEK: The Common Linnets
This week we have covered the song; Still Loving After You by The Common Linnets. The Common Linnets aren't strictly a duo but the song that gave them their international break features the dutch singer Ilse DeLange and singer-songwriter Waylon. Both Ilse DeLange and Waylon are great musicians in their own right and they joined forces to record an album under the name: The Common Linnets. In 2014 they came second at the Eurovison Song Contest which introduced them to a bigger market and made it possible for them to tour around Europe. We went and saw them live at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush. They are one of the best bands we have ever seen live and we would recommend you check them out. :)

PS: We are really sorry we missed a week, releasing your own EP is very engrossing. Our EP will be out on the 30th of March.
DUO OF THE WEEK: Chasing Grace
This week we have decided to cover one of our favourite duo songs: Run, originally by Chasing Grace. Chasing Grace are a british four piece fronted by Grace Ackerman and Philip Plested. They have just released their debut album called: Nowhere Near Old Enough. We hope you like our rendition if this great song.

Duo of the Week: First Aid Kit
This week we have chosen to cover the lovely song Emmylou, originally by Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit. First Aid Kit is made up of two sisters who started their career in 2008 and have since released 3 studio albums. Our favourite is their second album; The Lions Roar and we are looking forward to many more great tracks by these 2 brilliant musicians.
