The Knife is coming up with their new album soon. Their tracks are available for listening on their soundcloud. 

In this particular song, I like the metallic, reali-life sampling beat--it's interesting and fun and reminiscent of caribbean steel drums. Of course, it also has it's electronic melody, which I also enjoy. Although the sibling duo still has the same vocals as all their other works, it's extra acerbic and abrasive and hard to understand in this track, especially when she holds long notes. That, I don't like. 

Aside from that, it is an interesting step after their infamous song "heartbeats". 

I suggest listening to "Full of Fire", which has a bit of a too long intro but otherwise is very enjoyable and refreshing. 

This album is definitely more "serious" electronic..in the sense that you can tell that their genre is such. For the most part, their new tracks are slow. Nothing is really upbeat...don't think dance, think casual listening. Lots of interesting experimentation of sounds..it sounds like they did a lot of sampling of sounds for inspiration--particularly "Fracking Fluid Injection".

Little Mix...think Christina Aguilera in terms of sound, genre, and make up but in girl band version. They are very poppy. Not sure if I like them. There's nothing really new about their sound that makes me want to listen to them more. I do, however, like their funky style.

(2) soulful-y but possibly too slow

(3) voice is reminiscent of janis joplin, who i love

80s dance pop beat in beginning with matching kiddie voice. her voice sounds like it can grow (not mature). potential to be good but i think she needs to develop her voice and sound a bit more. there's something there though.
