Hey I was just wondering, is there going to be a 2020 twrp-bb or is this project dead?

Hi there!

Short answer: yes, although we have been tinkering with the idea of different types of bangs.

Longer answer: Yes, but likely not right away. We had wanted to do something of a mini-bang for winter 2019, but due to personal life constraints and changes for the mods, as well as the end of the year being busy for many people, we shelved that idea. For me (Lee), I’m looking forward do more mini bangs rather than a single big bang, but I’m not able to adequately plan that as I finish out this semester. This project isn’t dead, just a little quiet right now!

The year is 1989. Dan Avidan’s been having strange dreams since he turned 13 years old, dreams in which the world is on fire and dying and it’s all his fault, reaching a crescendo on his 18th birthday when an other wordly meteor shower lights up the sky and brings him a strange boy in a suit of armor who only knows his name and nothing else.

Sung is the prince of the kingdom Estrelium, where he and his recently betrothed, Lord Phobos, fight as blockade runners in the Starlight Brigade. With his personal guardian, Havve Hogan, and his second in command, Meouch, at his side, the fight against the Dechoir is one he can face bravely, until everything goes south.

Now he’s on Earth, Havve’s nothing more than scrap metal, and he can’t remember anything for the life of him. It’ll be up to Danny and Arin to help him regain his memories and reinstate the Starlight Brigade, and quickly too, because the Dechoir haven’t given up on destroying this poor boy quite yet, and as Agents of Boredom, they’re keen on taking Earth for themselves as well.

Yes there will be! We decided to not do it right after the challenge ended, however. In about a month we’ll be sending one out to all participants, as well as posting it here. We hope to hear from you then!

Summary: Doctor Sung is the proud leader of his band, a group he considers more than friends, but his family. However, the good doctor has never been very good at communicating things, especially when things go wrong. In times of trouble, he turns to a good reliable friend – a soft, puppet-like friend... (AKA Doctor Sung uses his Yoda puppet as emotional support to tell the band when things come up.) Summary: Tabatha takes the gang to Ottawa to experience Saunder's Farms, a fairly staple Canadian Halloween experience. Some thing seems to be lurking in the mazes. Is it just the ambiance, or is it something else? What will happen when they return for Fright Night? No matter what happens, Sung knows they'll all settle down for pumpkin carving after. Once all the fics are posted, could we get one big masterpost that links to them? (Thanks so much for organizing all of this by the way)

As much as I personally would love to do that, it feels a little redundant when all the fics will be available in this years collection on ao3. Almost all the ones that have been posted already are added to it, and you can find the previous years fics as well by going to the parent collection and then the sub collection of that year!

I hope that’s a good enough solution for you!

When a heated argument causes Meouch to leave, TWRP's entire world is thrown into turmoil. Everyone is angry with each other, and Sung feels like he needs to leave for a few days to clear his head. But unexpected dangers lurk around even the most innocent of corners, and the band will need to come back together in order to save him. Can they reconcile their differences long enough in order to rescue the man who brought them together in the first place? Warnings: minor medical gore, minor violence, minor injuries

Summary:  With Havve set on a project at home and Meouch content with holding down the fort, Phobos figures what’s the harm accompanying Sung on a mystery road trip, purposely left undetailed. It begins innocently enough, thrilling with the unspoken promise of food he won’t have to pay for, but before the middle of the week even hits, Phobos begins to suspect Sung’s dragged him out here for nothing. Summer’s the best time for chaos it seems, existential crises included.
