WORLD POPULATION MAPPED AS PEAKS AND VALLEYS
James Cheshire mapped the world’s population in a new way. Omitting any shorelines or country boundaries, he drew horizontal latitude lines that zigzag upward in black according to the population at that spot, with spikes at major cities colored gold. The approach highlights Earth’s densest areas—crowded Asia stands out particularly—more clearly than a table of numbers ever could.

Please forgive me for one last post about the election?
One thing, as an outsider, that I noticed over the last two elections, is that the Democratic Party does a horrible job at educating its electorate about the other elected officials.
And this is one thing the republicans are better at. Election after election, they put more people in the house and in the senate than the democrats. These officials have less but more articulate power, and they can either make a president’s life heaven or hell, as they please. That’s why the Obama administration was always tied and mostly never pushed large and effective legislation, because the republicans could very easily stop it.
Now the US has a republican majority in all those, and even though the republicans hate Trump, I still believe it’s easier to negotiate inside the party than making bipartisan legislation.
So in 2018 and 2020 (oh hell) make sure you vote for these positions as well, because even if the Duck is reelected, his power will be severally smaller than if he has a majority in these two stances of government (as he does today).

A set of twins exhibiting different phenotypes posted by Graziani Reptiles Inc.
my absolute FAVORITE thing is when ur sitting in a boy’s lap and making out with them and you start to feel them under where you’re sitting
and they either get really shy and sputtery about it and try to lift you off and be respectful
or are goaded on by the warm pressure that is you on top of them and rock their hips up into yours
either way it’s adorable. great job boys
