Watching Magnus...
"So what you are telling me is that he just sparkles like that without a chemical component? Preposterous..."
"I think it's delightful,"
“Erm… I’m actually here hoping to see a very specific person.” He said carefully. “Not that you aren’t perfectly lovely!”
"How sweet of you to say so," Twylla smiled. "And how lovely that you have someone. Do they know you're hoping to see them?"
"Just one of the shifters I think," she commented as she came to stand next to the other woman.
"They're so loud at the house, so I wouldn't put it past them," Darcy agreed before turning to her new companion with a visible surprise. "Oh... um, hi again."
"Hello," she gave the other girl a soft smile. "So are you part of the pack then?"
"What the actual fuck was that?"
"Just one of the shifters I think," she commented as she came to stand next to the other woman.
"Would you like some?" she asked, starting to head in the direction of the dinning room and the kitchen beyond again.
"Tea? Oh..." He laughed a little. "No. I don't drink that awful stuff."
He followed after her anyway though. Taking in Inn with an almost interested expression.
"I suppose it's not to everyone's taste. Though I'm admittedly very fond of it myself,"
"So what brings you out here today?" she asked over her shoulder.
At the Merriwick Inn
"Welcome," Twylla beamed at the person who'd just come through the front door. She was heading in the direction of the dining room, a basket of fresh washed kitchen laundry on her hip. But she paused to greet them. "Ah," she said as the clock chimed, "And you're just in time for tea and toast,"
Scarlett had been planning some sort of second date for her and Joseph, this one on her terms, so to speak. She'd meant to inquire about horseback riding at the Mistmarr Stables, but stumbled across an Inn nearby that caught her focus first. The warm greeting brought a smile to her face as she stepped into the space. "That does sound nice, admittedly." It would be a good idea for the couple to stay here for a night too, she thought.
"Then please do follow me," she replied with another smile. "I'm Twylla by the way," she said over her shoulder as she headed into the dinning room. At this time of day the room was light by sunlight filtering through the wall of windows that ran along one side. Each one made of little panes of glass and with a view towards a lake. Corners where the sun didn't reach were lit with candles that added to the cosy atmosphere of the room. It had wooden floors, wooden furniture, large fire place and even a wooden bar running along one end. Twylla set her basket down on the bar before turning back to the nephilim. "What brings you out here today?"

Darcy unintentionally spun in circle as she stepped through the door, her gaze eventually finding the girl who'd spoken. She looked between her and the clock, a bit puzzled by the lack of numbers on it. "Um... have I fallen through the mirror or something? Like, am I going to eat this toast and grow as big as this place?"
Twylla chuckled a little. "I can assure you that you're still in your realm. I can also promise that nothing you consume here is going to make you grow to the size of the Inn nor shrink to the size of a mouse," she switched the basket to her other hip. "I take it you stumbled upon us rather than intending to visit?"

Ciaran had decided to check out the inn that Daire had mentioned, if for no other reason than to determine that his brother hadn't invented the story entirely. But stepping into the quite mystical space rather forbid anything but utter belief in it being the truth. He looked up at the source of the voice, laughing a bit. "Ah... is that customary even for those just passing through?"
"We always welcome those just passing through as much as we do those staying. Though we'd never force either to dine with us if they do not wish," she replied with a warm smile. "I take it this is your first time here?"

"Well..." He smiled warmly at her. "That does sound lovely."
"Dinning room is this way," she said, beckoning him to follow her. It was just as cosy as the rest of the Inn. Lots of wood, from the floors to the furniture, to the great mantle piece that sat above the large fire place. Candles flickered, lighting the darker parts of the room. A wooden bar ran along one end, the door to the kitchen behind it. And the longer wall joining it was made largely of windows that over looked a lake. "Please, take any seat you like,"

Wulfe hummed. Rocking back and forth in time with the fae's heartbeat. "Interesting..."

"Interesting place you got here..." He said warily. "Spooky. I like it."
"Spooky?" she glanced around, "I suppose we do have a resident ghost, but he's very friendly,"
