We’re all pretty ‘fanstastical’ aren’t we? I guess I have to go with Murphy and his wings, those are right out of a fantasy novel.

Trust, spending time with them, might even tell them if I’m in an especially good mood.

You’re never really safe when you’re a super spy, are you? But probably on a run, or in my room when Murphy’s not making a mess of it.
“I can’t believe the interns are actually running a gossip blog about us. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has a problem with this?”
“oh please mabel. americans eat hot dogs and act as if eating every other animal is disgusting. live a little!”
“Alright, you got me there, hotdogs are pretty gross. But I’ll have you know I live plenty without weird French food”
“ sure, sure. if i pass out from blood loss you’re more than welcome to drag my unconscious body to the doctor. “
“There’s no way I’m letting it get to that point. Now, come on, lets get of here before I change my mind.”
Of course Mabel was here, and of course Lucent was going to mess with her. She feigned confusion, looking from right to left as if she was trying to find the source of the voice. When Lucent’s gaze finally landed on the girl in front of her, she jumped. Her hand flew to her heart, her face taking on an exaggerated shocked expression. “Oh, Mabel! I didn’t see you there.” The hand at her heart moved in front of her, lithe fingers suddenly hosting a tongue of flame. “I was just about to start a fire. Would you mind fetching the graham crackers? I seemed to have forgotten them.”
Mabel pursed her lips, trying to ignore the twinge of annoyance. Lucent was mocking her, great, real mature. Mockery, however, Mabel could deal with. Lucent however had the brilliant idea of topping it off with an open flame in the goddamn library. Did she have any idea what could happen if she wasn’t careful with that thing? Not everyone had the privilege of being fireproof. She forced herself to stay calm, no need to piss off the girl who could burn the place down in an instant. “Not sure where they keep them,” she said, trying to maintain a neutral expression, “you might try the kitchen though, incidentally a much better place for lighting fires.”

“ it’s minor bleeding, mabel. i’ll slap some bandaids on it and we’ll be fine. “
Mabel bit her lip, considering. “Okay fine,” she said with a small smile, “but if it gets any worse I’m dragging you to the doctor’s office myself, got it?”
“that’s only because of chance and world aggression.” fleur’s face crinkled in disgust as mabel stuck with her country. “in moderation.” she said haughtily.
“Don’t they eat frogs legs in France? I’ll take pizza any day.”
stress out? no. stress in. internalize that shit and tell no one.
“i’m not saying that everything french is better, but — oh wait, no i definitely am. america is barely on the scale, let alone anywhere close to france. what do you have? pizza? please.” fleur scoffed, a slender hand adjusting the silver necklace around her neck. “this isn’t even a contest.”
“You can say that all you want, but you do realize you work for the CIA, right? An American organization.” Mabel shook her head, by now used to Fleur’s obsession with France. “And besides, pizza is amazing.”

Ninjas. Definitely. You have to admire their stealth.

Well one person isn’t much of a mob. Last time I checked I was neither royalty or a deity so I’m going to have to go with non believer.

Dante, probably. Our powers are similar enough that I should be able to manage them pretty effectively.
Lucent, positioned comfortably in a leather armchair, let out a low whistle as her eyes scanned the library’s shelf-covered walls. She had developed a habit of avoiding this particular room over the years. It was just too stuffy…too dimly-lit...too tempting. And yet here she was, craning her neck every which way while she hosts a bottle of water in one hand with an old children’s picture book in her lap (she could never quite escape nostalgia, no matter how hard she tried). “One ember and this whole room goes up in flames.”
Mabel walked slowly through the library, running her hands along the books as she passed them. Most of it wasn’t much to her interest - she was only here for the nonfiction, some book about new security systems she’d been meaning to read and putting off. Even this, wandering about the library, was little more than an extension of that. Then she heard a whistle, a reminder she wasn’t alone here. Mabel turned a corner and there was Lucent, threatening to burn the whole place down. “Please don’t,” Mabel replied flatly “I haven’t even found the book I need yet.”
