Trautwig, a broadcast veteran whose career spans 40 years and includes several Olympics, has been called out for insensitive comments he’s made on air and Twitter about Biles’ parents (Biles was adopted by her maternal grandparents — Ron and Nellie Biles — as a toddler). 

NBC reportedly told Trautwig to apologize on Monday. “I regret that I wasn’t more clear in my wording on the air,” he stated.

The entire time commentators have been sexist and degrading to our women athletes. It’s been awful…

Let's be honest... common sense isn't so common. We know guns aren't the problem. It's people. Our government is a problem, but we aren't trying to ban them. There's always more to the agenda at hand. We just have to wake up, open our eyes and see it. I don't need a dictator. Nor do I need gun control. I'll control my own guns, thank you.
