“Oh god, please no. I’m pretty sure that Adam and I will be able to do up some inspiration by ourselves,” Poppy said with a smile. The last time between the two of them had been a few days before she had figured out that she was pregnant. “I’m okay with that. No problem with her being there.”
“If you ever want to try something new, let me know. I’m always here to help,” Tyler winked at her playfully, then focused on the road. “Yeah. I’d ask if you want to stay over for dinner but she’ll get a little too excited about it and it will all be weird. So, are you and Adam a thing again?”
emmamontgomery:
“It was okay, the good thing is it went by quickly.” She told him. Emma really didn’t want to talk about the gossip, it was silly for everyone to believe or even talk about. She gave a light sigh. “I hope not I try not to listen. That gossip blog blows everything out of proportion honestly.”
“Does it?” Tyler asked, arching his eyebrows. “I mean, no forget it, you really don’t seem to want to talk about it. But I’m here if you want to talk.” He stopped by the end of her car. “Here we are. You sure you’ll be okay?”
jessegarcia1:
“It looks like she’s got her mind pretty set on the Carson boy, though.” Jesse countered and shrugged, focusing his attention back on the screen when Tyler started the game without warning him. “Yeah, just like you just wanted to make sure I wasn’t the one who killed Maddie.” The words had came out without Jesse realizing it, but he was getting tired of Andrew’s stupid questions. Jesse was in the middle of taking another sip of his beer when Andrew unpaused the game, causing Jesse’s character in the game to die. “Not fair, dude. Start over.”
“We’ll see what she says once she sees the nice Tyler.” Tyler sighed, his eyes not leaving the screen at the mention of Madison. “So that’s it. You think she’s dead too. Cool.” He said bluntly, running his hand through his hair to pull them back into place. “You ready this time?” He asked before starting the game again.
jessegarcia1:
Jesse simply shrugged at the name, he didn’t really care anyway. “And what are you planning on doing? Seduce her with your Arden charm?” Jesse asked, a smirk tugging on the corners of his lips. “Maybe. But I still think she should’ve just kept quiet.” Jesse then slightly opened his arms in disbelief. Why did Tyler suddenly think he was behind all of this bullshit. First Maddie and now the gossip blast. “Of course I didn’t. I have better things to do than to rat out my friends.”
“No one resist my Arden charm forever. It’s worth the try.” Tyler said, starting the game without waiting for Jesse. “Yeah, whatever, it’s their business.” He paused the game as he realised Jesse sounded pissed. “It was just a question dude, I wanted to make sure, just in case. Forget it.” He rolled his eyes, and focused on the game again.
emmamontgomery:
“Thanks.” Emma said looking down at her hands when Tyler brushed a piece of her hair back. “Just at the end of the parking lot over there.” She pointed. “I got to school late today and all the good spaces were taken.” She explained.
“Alright,” Tyler smiled and slowly drove towards the end of the parking lot since he didn’t see much. “How was your day? Are people still talking about your Gossip?”
poppy-myers:
“It would be really bad if I sad something else,” Poppy said with a chuckle. She made a disgusted face when he told her he would find someone else that would touch him. “I don’t want to know about girls that are willing to touch you. For me not knowing those things, that is why we work so good.” She told Tyler. She shook her head again at the moment he asked if he should bring her to Adam. “No, you don’t have to bring me to Adam, I can wait for the storm over at your place.”
“You sure you don’t want to know? ‘Cause I mean, I have dozens of stories that could inspire you with Adam.” Tyler teased her, and winked at her playfully. “Alright, let’s go then.” He started the engine and drove to his house despite the storm. “I think my mum’s there, but she won’t bother us. She’s probably working in her office or something.”
“You know what, now that I think of it, I don’t recall asking? Thanks for giving your thoughts, though. I’ll be sure to filter it under ‘irrelevant opinions’.”
"Is it the Red Sea in your panties darling? Or are you simply going to bite?”
scott-carson:
“You’re literally making things up,” Scott said, shaking his head. “Your life must be so boring if all you do is make up lies. You know once you’re out of high school no one is going to deal with your bullshit, right? You’re only important here, and even then people will get sick of you eventually.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tyler rolled his eyes. “My life is not boring, I’m just improving my creativity. That’s what you think because this is what’s going to happen to you. Once you’ll be done with high school, no one will remember you, and you’ll never have any influence of people. But it’s far from being my case. Wherever I’ll go, people will know me, and they will never be tired of me. That’s life. You had to pick a side when you first came here, and you didn’t pick the right one.”
poppy-myers:
Poppy immediately shook her head “I definitely don’t need to feel your muscles. The only male muscles I’m touching, are Adam’s. Unfortunately for you.” She softly pushed him back after he had nudged her shoulder. “You know I trust you.” And they were honest words. She did trust Tyler, even with all the pranks he would pull sometimes, even with the air of mayor’s son. She did trust him.
“Good answer ma’am.” Tyler smiled, because he was expecting this answer. “I’ll find someone else to touch my muscles, don’t worry.” He teased her. “I know you do.” He didn’t feel like going into this kind of serious conversation right now. He wanted to have fun, and she needed to be distracted. “Do you want me to drop you off at Adam’s or go to my house? Or something else that might calm you down?”
jessegarcia1:
“Yeah, I can imagine.” Jesse rolled his eyes, but smiled nonetheless. “Who are we talking about anyway?” He asked, before shrugging. “So did I. But I guess she’ll figure out soon enough what happens when you start sucking up to someone like Scott Carson.” Jesse countered and started to shake his head. “It’s not. She should have told him before she aborted it or she shouldn’t have told him at all. I mean, can you imagine how Adam would feel right now if he had wanted to keep it?” Jesse took another sip of his beer before continuing. “Adam told me during the bonfire. Did you?”
“Jane, or Jamie. Something like that, the first blonde one I showed you at the party. And yeah, hopefully she will. I’m on it.” Tyler said a half smile on his lips. “Yeah, well, it sucks, but it’s done anyway, she can’t fix it.” He nodded slowly, pulling his beer down and grabbing his gamepad. “Poppy told me after she told Adam at the bonfire too. You didn’t tell the gossip, right?”
emmamontgomery:
“Wow, this is quite a storm. I don’t live too far from the school shouldn’t be too difficult to get home. What about you?” She asked once she was seated in Tyler’s car. Emma ran her hands through her hair trying to make herself look presentable even with wet hair.
“Okay, good. And I’m a good driver, I’ll be fine.” Tyler said, not mentioning how fun -- but dangerous -- it might be for him to drive when it was raining. “May I?” He asked before pulling a strand of her hair away from her face slowly. “Much better.” He smiled at her, and started the engine despite the torrent of water. “Where is your car?”
scott-carson:
“Don’t even pretend you care about how much pressure is on me,” Scott said, rolling his eyes. It wasn’t like Tyler was concerned with Scott’s well being. None of the people close to Jesse cared about what Scott went through, or at least that’s what it seemed like. “Of course I know I can’t screw the game up. I’m not an idiot.”
“Hey, I was just trying to be nice there,” Tyler rolled his eyes at Scott, and crossed his arms over his chest. “Not an idiot, really? Then why are you not practicing with the others right now? I saw most of them on the field when I walked by.” It was a lie. But Tyler was always a pretty good liar.
poppy-myers:
“Yeah, you do. I don’t think many do notice it though,” Poppy told him and she put her hands in her pockets. She chuckled when he told her there was nothing to worry. “You and protecting me? Are you sure about that?”
Tyler’s smile grew wider as she finally laugh. “I’m a strong man, do you want to touch my muscles? I didn’t know we have this kind of relationship though.” He teased her, nudging her shoulder gently. “C’mon now, you don’t trust me?”
jessegarcia1:
“Well, whoever she is, she wasn’t the only one.” Jesse took another sip of his beer before continuing. “I saw them go in as well, but I made sure to keep my distance. I didn’t want to hear that.” Jesse chuckled, but the smile quickly drained from his face when Tyler mentioned Poppy and Adam. “Poppy should have known better than to keep this from Adam.”
“She didn’t really hear it since she was with me, but you know how good I am in bed, she couldn’t refuse me anything.” Tyler half joked, and frowned. “I thought Emma had better taste in man to be honest.” He rolled his eyes, and took a sip of his beer before looking over to his best friend. “Well, she was scared and didn’t want to make him feel worse. I mean, it’s understandable.” He shrugged and looked at the TV screen. “But don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it was a good idea either. Did you know about it?”
“Are you excited for the first game? To be honest, I’m a bit nervous.”
“I don’t mean to put much pressure onto your shoulders, but you know you better not screw this one up, right?”
nancyfulton:
“That sucks. I hope you can get it all sorted eventually. Without, you know, completely ruining anyone. But if drinking is what leads to doing things like that, I might have to avoid it.” The idea of drinking was one that Nancy wasn’t that fond of. It didn’t seem unreasonable to be wary of something that’s purpose was to lower your defense mechanisms and general intelligence. “No, feel free. Though you’re the cooler one here, I should probably be the one asking you that.”
“We’ll see,” Tyler grabbed his notebook then shut his locker and walked by Nancy side towards the classroom. It felt both weird and familiar. Nancy and Tyler used to be closer, or at least used to do this more often back in their childhood days. But even if they slowly grew apart, he was still glad to have her around. “Ask me? What a dumb idea, unless you want to be the next target of the Gossip blog. Do you have your textbook? ‘Cause I don’t have mine.”
