This weekend, there is going to be a huge event held on Friday and Saturday evenings. Local talent from hereabouts are holding a benefit show to raise money for relief in Puerto Rico (since our chum the American president doesn’t seem to be doing much about it!) The 1975 of course will be there, along with many of our other favourite local acts: the Mary Janes, Banshee & Siren, @tylerthecreature , @oceanicfrank , @jamesontaylorjames among others! Admission is by donation and all proceeds are going to Puerto Rico relief.
So, this is where this gets interesting. Since the show spans two evenings, the sets are long and we are permitted to play up to 15 songs per act. We will be playing 5 of our own tracks, in no particular order:
1. Girls
2. Love Me
3. Somebody Else
4. Pressure
5. The Sound
But for the other ten, I want to do strictly covers. Of what, you ask? I have no idea. So I want you to give me your suggestions. I don’t care how ridiculous it is, the band and I will mangle it. This is going to be a laugh.
