it got me thinking, that scene in Code Vein with the Dyaus Pita, needless to say it does confirm that God Eater and Code Vein share the same universe. Though, the time and order in which they happen can be up for interpretation. another thing, anyone notice how the Dyaus Pita literally devours or rather kills the escaping revenants, without going for the heart? well that is until it either escapes into the mist again, or another idea...
the main reason dyaus pita can kill them permanently without striking the heart, and this by association goes for God Eaters, is due to the oracle cells which make up the aragami and the god arcs. keep in mind these cells devour anything and everything, which leads to the near extinction of humanity.
due to having oracle cells or being compatible with them, they can come and go from the goal as they please, not to mention the lack of a need for a purifier mask. that is if it’s ever confirmed that dyaus does escape after the red mist settles back in.
however, something tells me that it actually doesn’t escape, and is rather devoured itself by either one the red mist, but something tells me its more likely to be the BOR Parasite implanted in the revenants.
after all the BOR Parasite is a parasite, and we all know how parasitic relationships go. which in a way would make it somewhat similar to the oracle cells that compose the aragami and god arcs.
I’m still gonna believe that it was killed by something do to at least one of the revenants surviving its attack at the very last second.
