@typoiarbyz
the human body when you use it and exist in it
just finished disco elysium. what in the actual fuck.
stuff
fucked that you can’t fix other people especially when you really care about them. Oh so im just supposed to be there for you while you suffer. like a useless cunt gargoyle
Love how the warm and bright colors of Boromis's costume are closer not to his country's fashion but to Rohan palette. Just like Éomer have said, he's more like to the swift sons of Eorl than to the grave Men of Gondor (The Two Towers, Book 3, Chapter 2 The riders of Rohan).
Also his shield. The same thing: round shape is usual in Rohan (pictures from Heirs of Middle-earth).
Although I don't like what the movies did to their family dynamic, this thing is very true to the books. Boromir is not like Denethor. Faramir has more in common with their father.
Boromir about the hobbits: if not son, why son shaped
no, no. you’ve got it all wrong. girls don’t want flowers. all girls want is to look for his coming from the white tower and see him return. all girls want is for the tower guard to take up the call and tell them the lord(s) of Gondor have returned.
i was so proud when i made it so i decided to post it here
GUYS PLEASE TELL ME YOU SEE MY VISION if u have a better skill than i do i begging u please recreate it IT WAS SO FUN TO MAKE
so i think you liked my last one and since I'm unemployed and depressed (shocking for the boromir's fan am i right) i made like four?? more so here we go
Gandalf during the Hobbit: good god I wish Bilbo was more naturally in tune with his Took side I feel like I have to force it out of him
Gandalf during Lord of the Rings: TOO MUCH TOOK FUCK FUCK FUCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH PIPPIN
was rewatching lotr, then I downloaded capcut, and after that everything’s a blur
played dbh for the first time. before that i was watching it on youtube and damn. i did the right choice because i was too damn little to understand most of it. i think the worst part for me personaly was hank. and not in a way that i hate this character no. i actually saw me in him. and it's the wort part. all my life i was convinced that i wasn't feeling bad enough to have depression and even thinking about that i might have it was wrong for me. weeks ago my therapist said that "yeah girl that's depression" and i still didn't believe it because wdym, i still can fiction as a normal human being. but then i started playing and then was hank. and it clicked. anyway this edit made cry goodbye everyone.
credit to: @bluescoolcat on tik tok
started playing dragon age: inquisition, just some thoughts i have 'cus apparently it's the only thing that makes me at least a little happy now
first of all turns out I'm so lazy and this isn't even funny, bg3 got me too soft for this types of games. i literally can spent like solid 15 minuets just trying to understand where i need to go and it's not like the map is THAT big. also blaming witcher 3 and the mini map there, it's too good.
i had like one conversation with Dorian and damn. i can relate to his whole "love the country not the government" too fucking much. had a little crises over this. i had exact same thoughts when i was a little kid and started to search the internet, it's so hard to get this to ur head. fact that ur damn country is just as fucked up as any other that ur president makes u hate. and that's why i understand this aspect of him so much. not the thoughts i really wanted to have at 2 am while eating damn waffles
Iron Bull was actually THE reason i started playing, i saw like one tik tok about him and next day i was buying this game. and i do romance him, have zero regrets. the funniest man alive, gentle and just big guy i do the whole WOOF WOOF mood over him. AND KISSING HIM SUCH A FUNNY INTERACTION LIKE THE FACT THAT INQUISITOR RUB THEIR ASS AFTER HIM SLAPING IT I WAS LOSING MY BALLS OVER THIS JAJAJA
This pic is killing me knowing what we know about Visi now. She should try her hardest to fit in, I'm sure, since she was planted here - but she definitely never expected these people to like her.
Everyone else is having fun, is proud of her, but she's just. Shocked. I could be making friends? People could genuinely like me? I could belong here?
She looks like this.
Invisigal and Robert go through the same hero's journey arc, and here's why I think so.
Hello everyone. I'm studying to become a film industry producer and I recently completed a screenwriting course where we discussed character arcs. So today, I'd like to propose this theory, supporting it with the knowledge I've gained. I'm not a native speaker, so some things might not be entirely clear. If you have any questions or objections, feel free to write — I'm very happy to discuss!
First, let's start with what types of character arcs even exist (I'll be using the three-act structure because it's easier to understand):
Positive Arc — The hero has a false goal that they pursue throughout the first act. Between the first and second acts, the first plot point (PP1) occurs, after which the hero realizes their goal is false and finds the true goal. After the second plot point (PP2), the hero achieves their victory, reaches the true goal, and changes for the better. As an example, let's take the film Iron Man 1. Throughout the film, Tony Stark undergoes his positive arc by realizing the value of human life and desiring to protect the world, which he embraces by the end.
Flat Arc — The hero is perfectly aware of the imperfections of their world; they know the true goal from the very beginning. Both PP1 and PP2 are simply obstacles on the hero's path but do not change them. In the end, the hero achieves their goal. Again, for example, let's take the same Tony Stark, but from a different film — the second Iron Man movie. How does he change throughout that story? That's right, he doesn't. He goes through his trials but reaches his true goal. The beauty of this type of arc in the context of cinema is that the character is revealed, rather than simply growing or degrading.
Negative Arc — The hero initially knows the true goal, but after PP1, they reject it and find a false goal. They will adhere to this false goal until the end and will most likely fail.
Robert can go through any of these arcs, as the different endings tell us.
In the positive ending, even if you're romancing the Blonde Blazer, Invisigal remains on the side of good, meaning she completes her positive character arc. Robert's growth in this case can be considered his ability to accept his father's death and not take revenge on Shord for the murder. That is, achieving the true goal: forgiveness. For Invisigal, the true goal is redemption.
In the "neutral" ending (at least that's how it was in my playthrough), Invisigal remains on the side of evil, meaning she doesn't change at all, and Robert doesn't get the opportunity to achieve any goal because Invisigal kills Shord first, so he doesn't change either. There are many ways to get this ending, but overall, things remain roughly the same.
In the negative ending, Robert kills Shord, and Invisigal remains on the side of evil. Essentially, it's hard to say for sure whether she actually sees the true goal or only has a false one, but in any case, Robert undergoes a negative character arc. Therefore, it's quite obvious to me that his arc can be considered either a Disillusionment Arc, where the hero initially pursues the true goal but becomes disillusioned and finds a false one, OR a Failure Arc, where the hero pursues a false goal from the start.
The case of Invisigal becomes a bit more complicated. I lean towards the opinion that her arc possibly consists of different factors, but I'll try to outline them.
ACT 1:
Still believes in the false goal, but after PP1 finds the true goal and tries to change.
ACT 2:
Moves towards achieving the true goal, PP2 occurs, loses it, and returns to her NEW false goal.
ACT 3:
Essentially, the false goal.
I assume this was done so that players understand how similar they are. That is, essentially, Robert and Invisigal are two sides of the same coin.
Manifesting the bromance route for Robert with Sonar and Malevola.
