I drew a comic of the funniest thing that’s ever happened to me while playing among us. It was me, five of my friends, two randos (yellow and black) and this guy Pupu. He did not speak much English, called an emergency meeting to tell us he loved us, and in one round did THIS. Which wolf clipart?

I call it Lumpy Kiba and I’ve seen it used for car decals, stickers, clipart, traced with varying degrees of obviousness by artists of all skill/experience levels, I’m pretty sure I saw it in some small local company’s logo once.

here’s the original still from Wolf’s Rain (which is not a lot less weird-looking, but it looks fine in a stylized anime where it’s supposed to be), which I saw early in high school and ever since have had to live with apparently being the only one who knows that all these people just fucking traced an anime wolf.

it’s like the goddamn wilhelm scream of lazy art, once you see it you will never unsee it again, and it’s everywhere. and you can always tell because it’s frankly a pretty mediocre trace of an already wonky-looking wolf, so like. you can tell.

Sephiroth, but he decides to become a scientist,

Deciding that Sephiroth is simply too much of an overt physical threat, Shinra decides to put the boy to work as a lab assistant, absorbing him into Shinra's Science Department and acknowledging that the Jenova Project was a messy risk they rushed into too quickly.

Sephiroth, having lived most of his early years as an experiment, prefers this change. Better to work than to be worked on. He contents himself by deciding to emulate his beloved Professor Gast, climbing up the ladder to try to provide useful contributions to science instead of Hojo's thinly veiled excuse to torture things.

He tends to avoid his colleagues, developing a very strong disdain for scientists that align themselves with Hojo's thinking. Sephiroth is more interested in exploring antidotes to harmful toxins, or studying working relationships between humans and animals. He reads excessively, working long hours to uncover new methods to his work.

Which unfortunately leads him to the Jenova Project.

Flying into a rage at the full extent of knowledge he uncovers, Sephiroth destroys the entirety of Shinra's science division and sets himself to upheaving headquarters altogether. Sephiroth is out of practice from his more combat-oriented early years but is still an unstoppable force of nature.

Sadly, he is severely wounded in the process, using the last of his strength to crawl his way down towards one of the lingering cells in the bottom rung of the building. It's where he began his life--in a cage. An experiment. Fitting he should die there as well. He curls up there, bleeding out, cursing existence, cursing science and reason and humanity.

And cursing himself for becoming one of them.
