I know Fingon isn’t everyone’s blorbo, some of you don't know him, and not all of you eat lembas, but please accept it anyway, because he is offering you a plate of fresh, toasted lembas bread that he baked himself.

Andy Goldsworthy,
Ice Star, 1987
The sculpture was created in 1987 near the Scaur Water river in Scotland.
For this piece, he attached icicles together at their bases using his saliva, which would freeze to act as a natural glue.

““I actually like Pete as a person a lot. He is very funny, warm and charming. He has rough press and not surprisingly so. He is also very impressionable, quite vulnerable, rather too trusting and needlessly gets himself into some difficulties - basically and unfortunately for him, he is a scumbag magnet.”
