WAYZGOOSE IS HERE! Also known as Celebrate UCI, newly admitted freshmen come to campus and see what UCI has to offer. It takes place in Aldrich PArk where there will be an Outdoor Festival, Open House and also a Car Show. Here is a video recorded at WAYZGOOSE day! Have a look!

We are excited to announce a special UCI Night with the Angels on Saturday, May 9, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Game time is 6:05 p.m., and the Angels will face off against the Houston Astros. Tickets are now on sale on the main campus, at UC Irvine Medical Center and online.

Through this offer, all ticket holders will receive a FREE UCI-themed, limited edition Angels baseball cap. Our own Chancellor Gillman will throw out the first pitch! Join us from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the UCI Village (inside the stadium near gate 4) for a fun-filled time with UCI spirit, giveaways and prizes.

We encourage you to choose seats near the right field corner so you can be a part of the Eater Nation section. This is an afternoon and evening that you and your family won’t want to miss.

So many students are seen riding their longboards around campus on a daily basis; however, how many of them have tried skating down one of the parking structures on campus?! If you are into longboarding or even just in for a great adrenaline rush, riding down 7 floors of a parking structure is definitely a new experience to try. It might look scary, but it is an experience that you will never forget and you will look like such a badass while doing it!

Turtle Rock is definitely a place you have to visit at least once during your years at UCI. It is a short hike up a hill that is located just a few minutes away from campus, with a view that overlooks the city of Irvine. The perfect time to go is during sunset or at night, when you can watch the sun setting beautifully into the horizon or see all the lights that form the city of Irvine.

Our condolences go to the people of Nepal. Over 8m people were affected by the massive earthquake with approximately 600,000 houses damaged and 70,000 destroyed. God bless the 6,204 people that were perished during this earthquake. Mother nature is one crazy bitch.

And they say UCI doesn’t know how to party.... Our annual Shocktoberfest was a success this year with performances from Cash Cash, Adventure Club and our very own alumni Slander... and how about our Basketball team taking the Big West Tournament against Hawaii

This is one of the best parts of going to UCI. Everyone should at least try to live in Newport Beach for at least one year of your time here, trust me you won’t regret it. #NewportBeach #UCI

Even though my wallet took a huge hit, going both weekends of Coachella was truly amazing. I never thought I would get a chance to see ACDC in my lifetime so thank you Coachella for making it happen. I would definitely recommend anyone that hasn’t attended yet to do so at least once… But then again you’ll end up addicted for a lifetime.

Life in Color, “The World’s Largest Paint Party,” that took place this past Saturday (4/25/2015) at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California was one of the coolest events ever. This event occurs in over 110 cities all over the world in which ravers come together to get soaked in paint while dancing the night away to various DJs. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget and should be added to your bucket list.
