K: Prompt shift change for you tonight, I'm impressed.
M: Please, I'm always on time.
K: Suuuuure you are Miii-zukiii.
Kiriko prepares to Swift Step.
M: Hey wait! Here.
Mizuki hands her a neatly wrapped parcel in a bag.
K: What is this?
M: It's yours.
His voice non-nonchalant as per usual.
It smells divine. Kiriko looks inside and sees roasted-duck, rice and veggies, neatly packed and steaming hot. Then she spots the heating-packs and chocolate covered honey comb blocks.
K: You...?!
Flushed she looks over to Mizuki who already made himself comfortable on the look-out spot.
Silence
He finally caves and looks over to see her reaction.
M: You eat glazed doughnuts for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for weeks straight and suddenly you can't stop talking about roasted duck, medium rare steak and grilled pork belly?
K: You're tracking my... ?
M: Not like it's rocket science. Though you did almost bite my head off when my hat dripped rain water into HQ...
K: I...um...well...
M: Literally normal biology, Kiriko. Go home, eat up, rest. I got this covered.
Mizuki tips his hat, resuming his comfortable look-out position, staring into the distance.
K: Thanks Mizuki.
Kiriko tries to hide her blushing cheeks, knowing how much he just warmed her heart.
M: Anytime Kiriko. Now go home.
He stares into the distance as Kiriko contemplates the strange drop in the tone of his voice.
One swift step later and Kiriko is on her way home for her yummy treat, leaving Mizuki smiling into the distance. Luckily his hat is big enough to hide his own flushed cheeks.
I love that it’s confirmed that these two actively see each other often. They actively make time for the other and both look so happy! I hope we get more of them soon! Perhaps a Symmetra cinematic or a Lifeweaver comic soon!
The real difference between them is that Niran goes outside and takes pleasure in the small things in life and Satya would most likely know who Hatsune Miku is from playing rhythm games

As always, a soft warm light came from Niran's office. It was late, other medics and agents were asleep by now, but not Niran.
He was always busy with something. From finishing tasks, through working on biolight to simply sketching and writing things in a notebook. Or simply reading, while his herbal tea was cooling down.
While he was enjoying himself in his office in the late hours, you couldn't sleep. Nights were terrible, sleepless and it was no good for you as an agent. You needed to be quick on your feet, not falling asleep in the ship before while the mission was explained to you and others.
In the act of desperation you quietly left your room, a simple shirt and pajama shorts over you as you walked down the hall. You hoped that perhaps Dr. Ziegler could help and give you something. But her office was closed and quiet.
The light from a different office, not too far from Angela's. Walking closer, you recognized a familiar name on the door.
‘Dr. Niran Pruksamanee.’
You should have expected him to be stiff. That maniac seemed to never sleep, yet it seemed no consequences came from that. You would even dare to say that somehow he looked better than the agents that made sure to keep the sleep schedule as healthy as it was possible for an overwatch agent.
With a small sight, you knocked on the metal door and awaited an answer.
“Come in!” A cheery voice echoed on the other side and the door slided open, allowing you to walk in.
Niran's office was a little different from the ones other medics had. Instead of white walls, cold light and mostly hospital-like feeling, it was like walking inside a small living room.
The walls were painted in a soft green color, and paintings and pictures covered it. Instead of metal shelves and desks, it was all wooden. He even had a small couch, sofa and a table, which made the place feel more like a psychiatrist's office. And the soft warmth light from the lamp that stood by the wall gave the whole room a somehow intimate feeling to it.
But the most eyecatching part were the plants that were almost everywhere. On his desk, on the shelves, on the table. As if he tried to have as many of them as he could in this little room.
As he stood up to greet you, you noticed that he was still wearing the blue button up, along with the pink tie and the white coat while his hair was pulled into a messy but. He might have ruined his sleeping schedule, but he did it with style.
“Hello, ___________. Anything I can help you with?” Niran asked with a warm smile on his face. He clasped his hands together, eager to help.
“I was wondering if you perhaps had any sleeping pills?” You asked, and Niran let out a soft hum.
“I might have.” He said, before looking back at the cabinet by the wall and then back to you. “But maybe since you're here, a little check up wouldn't hurt?” He tilted his head.
It was late and you were tired, but something made you agree.
“Great.” Grabbing a clear pair of light pink gloves, he reached for his stethoscope and put the ear pieces right where they belonged. “Can you pull your shirt up a little? I’ll listen to your heartbeat from the back, so don't worry about anything.” He explained, wanting to remain respectful towards you.
As told, you pulled your shirt up just enough for him to be able to listen to your hearing comfortably.
“Deep breath in and deep breath out, okay?” He added and the cold chest piece met the skin of your back. He noticed the little shivers and his smile turned a little sheepish. “Apologies, I should have warned it was cold.”
The examination continued. Niran's gloved hands brushed against your spine, while he continued listening to your heartbeat and a quiet whimper escaped your mouth before you could stop it. You wondered if Niran heard it.
Hearing the little sound he paused, putting the stethoscope away on his desk.
“Let me just…” He felt the need to give you a little check, to see if he could find any other spot that could get a similar reaction out of you. His fingers gently pressed against your back.
“It's part of the check-up, right?”
“Yes. I'm just…” Another touch on your spine, this time not so subtle, got another whimper from you. “Oh my!” He gasped.
You, all embarrassed, pulled your shirt down. Your cheeks were hot and you wondered what he thought.
“Maybe I should–” Before you could react, Niran was right in front of you, leaning against his desk.
“It's okay. You surprised me, that's all.” He admitted while smiling, one of his fingers brushed against your arm.
He moved in a little closer, his voice dropping to a soft whisper. “Maybe you could use a different check-up?”
“You're… joking, right?”
“I'm very serious, my dear.” He said, moving back a little to give you space. “It's just a proposition. If you're not interested, I won't push you. However, if you agree I can promise you this will stay between us and even a whisper of what happened here won't leave this room.” He added, wanting you to know that he wasn't going to do things you didn't want to do.
It was a surprising proposition. You just wanted to get your pills and go back to sleep, but something about you attracted you like a moth to a flame.
And it would be a lie to say that his hands, even if gloved, felt good on your skin.
“Maybe I could use a little check up.”
“Excellent.” He smiled, happy with your answer.
He moved behind his desk, taking all the things off of it to make some space. “Would you prefer I keep the gloves?” He asked while hiding all things unnecessary into the drawers.
“You can take them off.”
Niran let out a soft laugh. “How thoughtful.”
With all the things gone, he took the gloves off and threw them into a garbage can before he disappeared in the next room. You leaned in a little bit, hearing a sound of water running before it stopped and he came back holding a towel.
“You didn't think I was going to let you sit on a hard desk and touch you with dirty hands, right?” He commented as he let the fluffy towel cover the desk. “You should be comfortable now.”
Stretching his hand towards you, Niran gently grabbed your own and helped you get seated on the desk.
“So you're like a psychiatrist?” You asked as you sat in a comfortable position.
He nodded. “Overwatch seemed to notice my talent for making people open up and feel comfortable. And I have a feeling it's gonna work on you too.”
He stood over you, his hands suddenly close to your hips but not touching you just yet. “Stop me when you need to and don't be afraid to speak up. You're allowed to leave whenever you please.” He whispered.
“You're not closing the door then?”
He chuckled quietly. “No, does that worry you? It's not embarrassing if you're shameless.”
With that he gently tugged at the bottom of your shirt. “May I?”
With a nod from you, Niran pulled your shirt over your head and let fall to the chair nearby. He grabbed your chin, making sure you were looking at him. “Eyes on me.”
“Yes, doctor.”
“Marvelous.” He purred at your words.
His hands found their way to your waist, giving it a small squeeze as he observed you squirm. He let out a hum, the tips of his fingers drifting over your skin, as if he was an artist appreciating the finest of artworks. And with the way the warm light was illuminating your body? You might have just been an artwork he couldn't wait to explore, to discover what makes it so special.
It was when his eyes lightened up when his fingers found themselves on your lower ribs. He felt the way you shivered, it was unmistakable. And he heard a soft, shaky sigh fall from your lips.
“Oh my… I believe I found quite a nice spot.”
His fingers drummed against your skin, going up to see if he could gain a similar reaction to the last.
And it looked like you started to give in to Niran's little game. Head thrown back, eyes closed, whimpers escaping your parted lips. He couldn't help him when your neck was so delicious and exposed, and before you knew it, his plump lips found themselves in the column of your throat.
Sweet soft kisses covered your neck, while the palm of his hands rubbed up and down sides. It was just the start of what Niran had planned for you, but just the feeling of his lips and palms was enough to make you feel heavenly.
“My sweet?” He whispered as his fingers hooked onto your pajama shorts.
You didn't need to say a word, you slightly changed your position so he could pull them down your legs.
“Thank you…”
One of his hands held your waist, while the other found its way between your legs. You gasped when his fingers met your sensitive parts, but you didn't stop him.
His fingers moved with so much gentleness, yet didn't lack any precision. The mix of the sweet kisses and his touch made you start to moan shamelessly, no longer caring about anyone potentially hearing you. You couldn't care less when Niran made you feel so good.
“Just like that, my dear.” More kisses covered your neck, his lips going lower to brush against your shoulder as his fingers put a little more pressure against you. “I've got you. Relax in me.”
You wrapped your hands around his neck, desperately to have him close and not stop anytime soon as you felt your orgasm approaching. With that you were grinding against his hand, desperate for more friction.

A/N: This is a bit of a vent fic for myself. I can relate to Niran in so many ways it hurts. For the record, I think Niran’s parents would have supported his Pansexuality eventually, but maybe would have been concerned because he is their oldest son. I tried to talk about the burning pressure that is placed on older siblings and the struggle to break free from those ridiculous expectations. I just know Satya would break character to show her best friend he is loved and doesn’t need to confirm to his parents ideals.
“Well.. Off to disappoint my mother again.”
“When have you ever been a disappointment, Bua?”
Niran sighed at his dearest friend, leaning against the stone balcony railing. She looked up at him with such a puzzled look trying to understand how he, a brilliant bio scientist could possibly ever be a disappointment. He invented living light, so powerful it had the potential to heal the world and rid it of pain.
“When you grow up with.. harsh expectations in a world where you are expected to uphold ridiculous family values.. it gets a little easy for your parents to label you as a disappointment, dearest.”
“That’s stupid.”
“I know my family love me, they just have a weird way of showing their love. That’s why they sent me to Vishkar after all. To teach me respect and discipline. I don’t think they bargained on me changing quite as much as I did though.” He laughed a little, attempting to throw off the pain laced in his voice.
Niran had grown up with a golden spoon in his mouth. He never had to worry about going hungry, or where he would sleep that night. He was always safe. His family influence set him up for a life of comfort. A socialite in the making. A life he didn’t want.
“I was first labeled a disappointment when they realised I didn’t conform to their ideals and ridiculous views. The second time being when I came out as Pansexual, though later it was accepted.. but the die had been cast. The third time was when I left Vishkar. I’ll never forget my mother’s angry words Satya.. ‘You are such a disappointment Niran.’ I think about it a lot.”
“Niran..”
“It’s fine really. Sometimes the way you’re viewed is enough to fuel you to spark change. When we first met you viewed me a spoilt little brat, and now you don’t. One day my parents will be proud. I just need to work hard to show them their love wasn’t wasted.”
Satya reached out to pat his back but hesitated. He was deep in thought, staring off into the world below. The balcony gave him a mystical view showing him both the beauty and the ugliness of the world. He was hurting and she didn’t know how to help him, so she tried her hardest to think of something to say. Something meaningful, something so unlike her usual words of comfort.
“Niran, when I look at you I see resilience. I see resolve, and a strong one. Your family are foolish for hurting you this way. They don’t know you like I do..”
She began to stim until she saw him smile, a sign she had at least done something right. She adored her best friend. They had such a tight bond that could only be described as platonic love. She would do anything for him, as he would for her.
“Thank you, Satya.”
“Now can you stop moping around like a sad puppy and come back inside? This party is for you after all.”
Niran had forgotten all about it. The party was to celebrate his breakthrough. He had worked so hard, and should be celebrating, yet here he was lost in deep depressing thought.
“I wish they were proud of me Satya. Thank you for being my friend. For a while, I thought I disappointed you too because-”
Satya hugged him tightly around his waist cutting off his words. They had hugged in the past sure, but this one felt different. She was hurting because of his words. Not because of what he said to her, but because of how they displayed his emotions. She wanted him to be okay, to know he wasn’t what he thought he was. He hugged her back too, tears threatening to spill. He could always be vulnerable with his best friend.
“You will never be a disappointment to me Niran. Never.”
She held her friend tighter as he sobbed feeling better for the first time in years. Her words meant to much to him. In a world where they had both been meant to thrive, at one point in time both had suffered. They understood eachother better than anyone ever could. Satya was his family, she always had been.
“I’m so proud of you, Bua.”
Niran dropped to his knees, dragging her down too, crying out from all the years of pain and suffering. Satya cradled him in her arms, allowing him to heal. She understood pressure, but could never imagine a pressure like his. Niran was a support sure, but Satya was his support. That’s all he needed.

The night air was cool and crisp. Music filled the space, ridding it of silence. A jazzy melody calling out for patrons to come and listen.
One such patron, Niran PruksaManee, had sat in the bar for hours. He was well know here, well respected, very feared. He liked this bar, not for its overpriced drinks or for its classy decor, oh no. He came here night after night to catch a glimpse of his golden Angel. Each night he sat with his gang, playing cards and smoking, waiting for her to get on the stage. Her voice was beautiful, it made him feel things he thought he was no longer capable of feeling.
Satya was nervous to head onto the stage again. It was crowded unlike most nights, and this was a worrying thought. She didn’t mind performing, it was better than being a bar girl. Although she was nervous, she did as she was told and stepped onto the stage along with her instrumental player Lucio. She looked at all the fuzzy faces, no one standing out in particular, much to her dismay. She was looking for him. Her favourite admirer.

Niran smiled hearing her pretty voice again after so long. He silenced those around him with a sharp look, listening intently to her sing. He sipped his drink, eyes fixed on her and only her. She was all that mattered right now, she was all he cared about.

“Hey boss there’s a matter we need-“
Niran shot the man a look, cutting him off immediately. He hated when others spoke over the sound of her voice. It irritated him most of all.
“Perhaps you didn’t understand me the first time. I’m listening to the song.” He snapped, placing his drink in the table and flexing his hands.
“I see a day in June, a wedding tune

Friends I know who will throw
Some rice and old shoes”
“So sorry boss. Won’t happen again.”
“See that it does not, less I’ll have your head on my wall.”
His gaze returned to the pretty women on stage, a smile replacing his stern look. She was breath taking and he couldn’t help but stare at her. He had wanted to talk to her for so long, yet never had the chance to do so, she often slipped away after she performed. A cheeky little thing.

He wondered if she would be scared of him, or if she would even want to talk with such a rough and rugged man. He cleaned up well and always took care of himself, yet he knew his occupation wasn’t the most clean. It had a tendency to put people off.

Suddenly I laughed with glee
There was nothing wrong with me
For I guessed what it was all about”
She took notice of him at last, her admirer, a smile appearing on her face. She looked positively radiant when she smiled at him. They locked eyes and he felt butterflies in his stomach, his own smile growing.

Love. Was this what he was feeling for her. It was strange. He had been in love with people before but it had never felt like this. He felt drunk, despite hardly drinking, his mind floating. She had his attention.

Niran stood up abruptly. He had to talk to her. She was so perfect. He couldn’t resist her any longer.
“Boss?”
“What?”
“Where are you going?”
“I see a day in June, a wedding tune

Niran slipped past the tables heading towards the side of the stage, blissfully unaware of the people moving quickly out of his way. His reputation proceeded him.

She finished her song, and nodded her head in appreciation to her patrons for listening. Niran was the first to start clapping, making everyone else in the room cheer and clap for her too, afraid of making him mad. Satya smiled noticing he was still watching her. She moved to the side of the stage and he held out his hand to help her down the steps.
“Aren’t you a pretty thing.”
“Aren’t you curious.” She quipped back.
Niran smirked. She was just as sharp as he was and he liked that.
“Lovely song dear, captivating.”
“Thank you, wasn’t aware you had a fine taste in music being a mob boss and all.”
“Ohh so you know who I am?”
“Everyone knows who you are, PruksaManee.”
She winked and took his hand leading him back to her dressing room, not wanting their convocation to end. She was quite forward, though he didn’t mind at all. Her dressing room was small, intimate. Neither of them minded.
“So, are you going to tell me why you come here all the time, or are you just going to continue staring at me?”
“Oh you noticed huh?” He grinned, finding himself more drawn to her than before. He leaned in closer taking advantage of the lack of space now between them.
“I do. You’re hard to miss PruksaManee.”
“Call me Niran. Or better yet, Bua.”
She grinned. So the mob boss had a pretty name. Ironic. Though she supposed that he was actually quite pretty himself. He stared down at her with his warm honey coloured eyes, a soft smile on his face that quickly turned into a soft smoulder.
“And what shall I call you?”
“What would you like to call me?”
A lot of things. His. Mine. Darling. Honey. Dearest. Tii Rak. She was captivating enough. He intrigued her with the way she carried herself. He wanted her more than anything in the world. Oh the crimes he would commit for this woman.
“Let’s start with your name hmm?”
“Satya.”
“Beautiful.”
“So are you going to answer my question or did you want something else?”
Niran raised a brow. He recalled their convocation so far, remembered she had asked why he came here a lot. He thought about it for a while, getting lost in her eyes again and again. Beautiful.
“I come here for you, naturally.”
“I figured as much, Bua.”
Bua. Meaning Lotus in Thai. He loved when people closest to him used that. He started to picture a life with her. It was strange because they had only really just met properly. Yet he had visions of them growing up together and spending everyday of their lives in each others company. Dreams of big arching white walls and blue translucent lights, that created odd little shapes. He blinked rapidly feeling a little light headed. He had these visions a lot. It was only now that he had seen her up close, that they were clearer. This woman would be his

For the past month I've been working on a little something. I've recently picked up collecting trading cards and I wanted to work on on some Overwatch themed ones, with nice, shiny holo foil, hot stamped foils and UV Printing. I really like how they turned out. ♥
