Onthe health forms that need to be sent in b4 registering for classes the tb test needs to be done.But I still have to do that & don't have enough time b4 the deadline to do it and then mail it. How/can I mail the results separate?Any requirements?

You'd have to talk to the school admissions about that, I'm not all knowing!

Hi! I'm thinking about going to UH next year (2016-2017) but am a little weary about it and have a couple questions. Does the free bus on campus go to Waikiki or the north shore? I'm a big beach person and since I won't have a car I want to be sure I will have plentiful beach access. Also, is the meal plan food good? And how much storage is there in the aloha tower dorms? Thank you in advance! (-:

The bus goes everywhere on the island, but it takes several hours to get to the north shore via bus! The meal plan is alright for how much it costs and the convenience. Can't be home cooked meals though. And the pictures on the blog of the alpha towers show all the room there is in the room, which isn't a whole lot, but it's definitely doable!

If you’re on campus this semester, you should definitely come join Biology Club at our first meeting of the semester! You don’t have to be a Bio major, you just have to like going hiking, to the beach, to museums, on tours, to the aquarium, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and so much more! We’ve worked really hard to have a good semester this year, and the officers and I are all very excited for the events we have planned! So I really hope to see some of you there! And come say hi if you do decide to join us! (Also there will be free food there!)

HI! I'm a junior in high school right now and I take the SAT at the end of the year so my mom thinks it's time to start looking into colleges and I have uh in mind also schools in California seeing as I'm from there and feel these two states have good biology programs! I'm just worried that maybe marine biology is a hard job field to get into? Where do they work? What states hire them the most? Please help me x

hi sarah! i was wondering if there's like a day where ALL the UH clubs/orgs hold an event to recruit new members and stuff? because i want to join some clubs but i don't know what clubs there are and when they meet and all that. thank you!

There is! In September, there is a RIO fair (RIO stands for registered independent organization and is basically a fancy legal way of saying club so that the university is not liable). (Also you should totally check out biology club cuz I'm the president or at least come to our meeting September 3rd! We're gonna have Buca's! And come say hi! I'd love to meet any of you guys interested in the club or even if you just want to come to the meeting just to say hi to me!!! I would absolutely love that!)

Hey do dorms have a full length mirror or do you have to bring your own?

You have to bring your own mirror!

Have you ever ordered linens or packages through RHL? Do you know when/where we can pick it up on campus?

I did! They were pretty alright though if you can, I'd suggest washing the towels at least once before you use them because they're not super great quality and I ended up with more dizzied on me than water droplets. When I did it, they had a table in the freshman courtyard by the Hale Aloha cafeteria, and I actually had once piece that didn't get in there and they sent me to behind Johnson hall A where there's a small office sort of dealio.

Hey! So, to your knowledge, is personal property theft really big on campus? Like, have you heard of many phones/laptops being stolen?

That's not largely a problem. Usually it's mopeds or bikes that get stolen that are sitting outside on the street. But if you're worried about it, I might suggest getting a lock box of some kind and/or keeping things like your computer on you at all times.

Hi! I have the same problem as the anon before (the roommate situation) and was wondering if there is like a high chance that I won't have a roommate for the entire semester? Is it common to be assigned to a double yet have no roommate? Thank you for answering all these questions!💕

You're welcome of course! ☺️ People change rooms and transfer into UH so it's likely that you will gain a roommate sometime during the semester.
