The Ultimate Galinda's Wardrobe

I went to the Internet Archive and used the Wayback Machine to try and rescue as much as I could from the long gone Galinda's Wardrobe website. I tried to contact the owner, and tried investigating where all the research had gone to, with no luck, so hopefully this blog will help some fans nerd over the costumes. Galinda's Bubble Dress (Part 2)

Original Production

This is the way the Bubble Dress looked during the first Broadway production.  The dress was mostly worn by Kristen Chenoweth and the early Glindas. The dress top is more off of the shoulders and the skirt is less puffy with four layers of large scallops instead of multiple individual petals. The whole dress and skirt are covered with sequins, not just the front of the bodice and the waves on the petals.
