I know it’s been over a year since I’ve posted anything on this blog and nearly two years ago since I’ve made this post, but I’ve felt the need to explain it all to you because this somehow managed to get 57 THOUSAND NOTES

This tag yourself meme is based on New Dangan Ronpa V3, however there’s a catch. This is based on my own headcanons and very little information we had at the time. This was made when we only had a single character introduction video. There was no demo. No nothing. So a lot of this information is inaccurate to how the characters ended up being.

People have tried guessing what this post is referencing, and some have gotten close but I haven’t seen someone guess perfectly. (Granted, I don’t look at this post much.)

How this meme is arranged is this:

Dark red - Korekiyo. (Telling trait: “loves telling stories”. This was made at a time where mistranslations lead us to believe Korekiyo’s talent was storyteller rather than anthropologist.) Red - Himiko. (Telling trait: “Goes on long rant as to why magic is real”. This one is obvious.) Orange - Angie. (Telling trait: “ Art ho”. She’s an artist.) Yellow-Orange - Kaede. (Telling trait: Not much, but the “watched all seasons of glee” seemed fitting enough considering her talent relates to music.)

Lime Green - Rantarou. (Telling trait: “Doesn’t know how to properly sit in a chair”. This is making fun of his promotional art.) Green - Gonta. (Telling trait: “Loves every bug”. He loves bugs.) Dark Blue - Ryouma. (Telling trait: “Surprisingly deep voice” and “Really short”. Pokes fun at his appearance and voice.) Whatever Kind of Blue This is - Tenko. (Telling trait: “Wears weird accessories”. This was before we knew Tenko was a Giant Lesbian, so I didn’t have much to go off of. This pokes fun at her weird pinwheel hair accessory.)

Blue but Dull - Tsumugi. (Telling trait: “Keeps spending money on cosplay”. She’s a cosplayer.) Blue again but light - Kiibo. (Telling trait: Not much, really. This was completely based on headcanons.) Lilac - Kokichi. (Telling trait: “Wants to rule the world” and “Soda > People”. These referenced his talent & promotional art.) Purple - Kaito. (Telling trait: All of it really. Most noticeable is “Space aesthetic” bc he’s an astronaut.)

Pink - Miu. (Telling trait: “Kinky”. She’s walking around in bondage what did you expect.) Brown - Maki. (Telling trait: “Great with kids”. She’s the ultimate child caretaker.) Gray/Grey/??? - Kirumi. (Telling trait: “Great with chores but doesn’t like doing them”. She’s the ultimate maid, and her not liking chores was simply a headcanon at the time.) Black - Shuuichi. (Telling trait - “Watched lots of Blue’s Clues as a kid”. He’s a detective.)

So. Yeah. I don’t know how to close this off other than saying I hate this post and I hate it’s so popular but w/e
