About plushies

🪄 I collect all sorts of plushies, but recently I’ve been collecting Danganronpa plushies! I have 26 DR plushies (as of making this post). I get most of the fan made ones from SW33TZk4ND1! I started collecting Danganronpa plush 3 years ago, but have been collecting other plushies since I was a kid!

🎁 My other plushie friends are Squishmallows, Build-A-Bears, and other random brands! If I didn’t mention where I got it, feel free to ask!

Why did you start making your own plushies? The nagito one you made is rlly cute btw id put him in a soup like a witch

Hey thank you! :D I really appreciate that!

There’s a few reasons I started making my own plushies, but the main reason was that I was running out of new Komaedas to buy LOL

Also, I feel like it’s really special to own a one of a kind plush of your fav that you made yourself! It’s outside of my price range to pay someone else to make all the ideas I have and I like having full control over all the details. I also feel motivated to improve my sewing because I think it’s a very useful skill!

But I’ve always really loved plushies and sewing anyways, so I guess it was just a natural conclusion xD

A lot of them are from SW33Tzk4ND1 on Etsy! The shipping is kinda expensive if you live outside of the UK, but there’s a decent second hand market on Mercari and Ebay, so just keep an eye out!

My other guys are usually from Aliexpress! If you’re not into buying from there, some of them are listed on Ebay, but I’ve noticed it’s a lot more expensive. It’s the exact same plushies tho. You can also get clothes for them from both websites, or places like PlushWonderland

I USED to buy official plushies from Mercari JP and Rakuten with proxies, but with tariffs and shipping and all that I think the prices are unreasonable. Now it’s more affordable to buy them off Ebay, because a lot of sellers have shipping options that already include import fees!

TL;DR: Etsy, Ebay, Aliexpress, and Mercari

(Side note: While some plushies are genuinely rare, sometimes people list stuff for crazy prices. It’s kind of a waiting game to see what will show up for reasonable prices. Personally, I would not spend more than $100 for an official plush unless it was genuinely hard to find, like Meshinui. Still, don’t pay like 1,000 dollars for a plushie cuz that’s crazy lolol)

I plan to make him clothes but for now he’s wearing a different Nagito doll’s clothes… He has a skeleton, so he’s posable!

He’s definitely not perfect but I still think he’s cute and I’m happy with how he turned out xD Not too bad for the second thing I’ve ever made on a sewing machine. I probably spent around 25 hours making him if I had to guess. I think I spent around $15-$20 for all the materials I had to buy (embroidery floss, embroidery hoops, stabilizer, and fabrics. I already had stuffing, hand sewing needles, fabric glue, and thread), and there’s enough stuff leftover to make multiple more dolls.

There were some mishaps… The blue heat erasable pen I used stained the embroidery when I tried to wash away the stabilizer 💀👎 Also, I’m going to try harder to make the eyes symmetrical next time. I feel like I’ve been looking at it so long that I can only see the flaws and think about how to make the next one better xD

The hair is faux rabbit fur but I honestly cannot name a material that is more of a pain in the ass to work with, other than longer fur. But it’s soooo soft and fluffy…

Side note, the pattern IS entirely in Japanese, but you can probably use the YouTube tutorial and Google translate to figure it out. It’s a really good pattern though! Easy to follow.

And finally I just wanna say thank you to everybody who interacted with me or said something nice to me when I posted my WIP! It made me happy and really motivated me to finish it! :D❤️

i like taking seasonal photos but it’s so cold and windy here -_- it literally snowed a couple days ago. but i still got some autumn kamukoma, komahina, and korekiyo + gonta pictures!

sometimes i don’t know what pairings to take photos of outside of those ones, so if there’s some specific pairings you want to see just send me an ask or something and i’ll see what i can do! ^^

side note, i’ve been working on making some of my own 20cm dolls! right now i’m working on nagito, and then next im going to make sakura from thh as a christmas gift for my sibling, but then i don’t know who i want to make next. give me ideas please!!
