I started writing for this blog at the ripe age of 15/16(?). I wasn’t supposed to be here for very long, and suddenly I was the only one writing. I’m 18 now and I start college in the fall. Between becoming a mod and now, a LOT has changed in my own life. Not long after starting to write for this blog, there were a variety of incidents that nearly killed me, and then multiple really bad relationships. During my freshman year of high school, I was in the ER almost every day for migraines, and it was recently discovered that my wernicke's and broca’s areas, both heavy in using and processing language, were no longer functioning as well as they once were. I’m nearly incapable of writing like I used to. For example, I’d write/say “expect” rather than “except”, cutting out multiple letters from words, and I could no longer properly say what I was thinking. It’s gotten to the point that I may have to learn sign language in order to communicate, however, therapy does seem to be working and my state is currently improving.
It’s ben so long since I was last here that I should probably introduce myself again. I’m Mod Korekiyo, though my actual name is Aesop-Elliot. I’m a transman from the East coast. I started writing for Danganronpa as a form of coping with various things. Apparently my writing for Danganronpa is very popular, and I’ve run into fans of my work through discord. “Draning” and “A DIfferent Shade” are still my most popular works to date, and yet they are the ones I’m ashamed of most. After what happened my junior year of high school, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to write for Danganronpa again. My deepest apologies.

He just wanted to show you the animals he had recently rescued. He was not expecting you to hide behind him at the sight of a cat.
When he sees that you’re getting nervous, he holds your hand and talks about the cat from a distance.
Slowly but surely, he gets you a bit closer to the cat than you were before.
He understands if you don’t want to get too close, but he would like to try and get you acquainted with cats.
Even so, he loves you, and he doesn’t want you to be uncomfortable, though theres no way he’s getting rid of the cat.

Kiibo loves starting little debates with you, he finds it the perfect time to put everything he has learned into practice

Speaking of robophobia, He isn’t too much of a fan going to any competition you attend since so many debate the ethics of robots
However, he’ll always try to attend them, but don’t be too surprised if he takes a bit of offense if the topic does resurface

He isn’t really one to start or hold friendly debates with you, he prefers watching you over it all
The only way you can start anything with him and have him actively fight it is the moment it’s about his tennis
He refuses to let you change his mind about him playing again, or even the way he sees himself

Despite it all, he’s the first to cheer the moment you hit the home run

He actually enjoys going to your games and watching you play, he finds it a good way to people watch and support you at the same time

He has pretty much recorded every single one of your games
Over his time recording his sister’s games he’s gotten quite a stable hand, so the quality is pretty good for home video!

That home run is such a sigh of relief, knowing that you’ll be able to turn it around

This came out a little more simple than I planned, but I hope you still enjoy it!
Time with Rantaro was very limited, he had dedicated himself to finding his sisters with everything being considered secondary. He would be gone weeks and even months at a time, only coming back to see you and to quickly plan his next trip. He had just returned from his latest expedition to Thailand and wanted to meet you at your usual cafe. It was a small, but cozy place a little ways away from the shoreline, and decorated with all kinds of plants. You both always met here whenever he’d return from one of his long trips.
You open the glass door and look around the quiet cafe before spotting Rantaro in the back. He gives you a gentle smile before rushing to give you a small hug. “I missed you” He whispers, before taking your arm and leading you back to the table he was at. You take the seat across from him, careful of the potted plants that surrounded you. “How’ve you been?” He asks as he leans forward in his chair, a little tired from just coming from the sea. “I’ve been fine, not too much going on at home, just been a little lonely without you” He chuckles and leans his head into his hand, “I promise this next trip won’t be so long, there’s just so much to explore” The two of you talk about the details of his next trip, and he promises again that he’ll spend more time with you too.
After a second it goes silent between you two, a loving glance shared before he moves his free hand over to yours, cupping it slightly. A waiter comes to your table and Rantaro orders for both of you, some tea and a couple of pastries. It stays like that for a while before he hops slightly in his seat and turns to pull a small box out of his bag. “And before I forget, I got this for you” You take the box and pull the bright ribbon off of it. Inside was a variety of colorful beaded and braided bracelets. “I got one for you at every rest stop I was at, kinda helped make it feel like you were there with me” You smile as you drag your finger over the different materials before looking back to him. “They’re wonderful, Rantaro”
He seems content and retakes your hand back into his. He recounts his stories on his time there and gives you an update on how far he was on finding his sisters. He swears there's a lead somewhere in Laos, however, discussion of it is cut short by the waiter. It's for the better, he always gets so heated talking about his sisters and here wasn’t the best place for it. The rest goes smoothly of you two eating cake, drinking tea, and discussing what to do with these fleeting days of him here. Finally, when you’re both full you return home to catch up on all the cuddling you missed these past weeks.

Sorry for the wait, It's a little longer than expected and I ended up focusing more on the trial than any romance. Hope you still enjoy it!
Maki Harukawa, the ultimate child caregiver, or as she was recently exposed, the ultimate assassin, was found dead. Her body was found early in the morning by you, in your lab. She had hit her head on the pavement flooring, the monopad said her death was instant. On her body was a crossbow and a fraudulent note meant for Kokichi to meet you at your lab immediately, she even copied your penmanship down to your signature. Without a reliable alibi and the murder taking place in your lab, you quickly became the prime suspect. You tried to argue that you had no reason to kill her, but your argument dissolves quickly when they bring up this week's killing motive, the right to leave with one other person. To them it seemed like more than enough evidence, no matter the outcome of the trial you still got something, either you'd be able to escape with Kokichi, or you failed and still would've gotten rid of Maki.
The courtroom is quiet as everyone stares down at you. Your hands gripped the wood of the stand, desperate to find anything to point it away from you. Sporadically, your eyes dart from person to person before landing onto Kokichi. To anyone else, he looks stone-faced, uncaring, but you know better, he's just as panicked. No one trusts him or cares enough to believe whatever he says so he's left feeling useless. "C-Can... We go over the case one more time? I just know I can find a hole in it, I know I can prove my innocence" You catch a groan from Miu before Shuichi interrupts any complaining she was about to do. "Of course, we'll go over it one more time, and you call me out if you hear anything" You nod and lean forward in your stand, trying to put as much concentration as you can.
"Maki had gone to your lab late at night intending to lure Kokichi and kill him, however, you had returned to your lab and found her with the crossbow. In a moment of panic, you tried to disarm her before struggling and knocking all your weight onto her. With the momentum, she fell back and smashed her head on the floor." Shuichi slowly trails off and looks back up towards you with some sort of hope that you found something in there. However, to you, it all sounded so airtight until you heard Kokichi speak up. "Wow, to think she went out of her way to set up my murder all by herself, how thoughtful~!" Kokichi side glances towards you before giving a cheeky smile, he's picked up on something, but being vague again. You thought about his words as everyone piled complaints about him until it hit you. Why would she write the note to have Kokichi come immediately to your lab and not at a specific time?
"That's wrong! Maki wasn't alone, she was planning to kill Kokichi with someone else" Once again everyone shifted to look at you, waiting for whatever evidence you had. "Maki never gave the letter to Kokichi, not because I killed her before she could have, but because someone else was supposed to give it to him! Isn't it strange how she worded the letter? She asks Kokichi to immediately meet me in my lab, that's not nearly enough time for her to give the letter to him and still make it back without him seeing her! So, the only possibility is that whoever she was working with turned on her!"
The room becomes still before Shuichi finally raises his voice. "And... Who do you think it was" Everyone runs through your mind and you can only come to one conclusion. Your eyes flick towards Kaito, who you're only starting to realize wasn't being as brass as he usually is. He meets your eyes before gritting his teeth and letting out a sigh. "Yeah, it was me" Everyone seemed surprised, even Kokichi looked a little taken aback. Kaito lets out an unsteady breath when he notices all eyes on him. "It wasn't on purpose, believe me... She told me the whole plan when she took me to your lab. Give the message to Kokichi, Tell him it was from you, you'd be convicted and we would be free. But, I didn't want anyone to get hurt, even if it is Kokichi" He slumps over his podium slightly, voice hushed. "I tried to talk her out of it, I just wanted to take the crossbow away from her, I didn't mean to... hurt her" The rest of the trial goes by silently, surprisingly Kokichi manages to keep his thoughts to himself until voting time.
Everyone slowly stepped down from their stands, moving to face Kaito for his final moments. "I didn't mean to let the trial go on for so long, y' know, it was just hard for me to just come to terms with it" Shuichi rushes to his side, already spewing apologies and sobbing into his jacket. Unfortunately, goodbyes are cut short and he's gone before you know it. When his execution is over, no one bothers to stay any longer and retreats to the elevator as soon as they can. The ride up is overbearingly quiet with the occasional creek of metal against metal. When the doors finally open, Kokichi takes his hand into yours, leading you away from the crowd and towards your dorm. Even once you’re inside your room you can still hear the sound of Saihara’s cries run through your head. How can you do something right and still feel like it was wrong? Your thoughts are cut short as Kokichi abruptly wraps his arms around you. You stay quiet and move your hand to brush through his hair, afraid that if you say anything it'll make him pull away. He was always so quick to deny anything that made him feel vulnerable, and these moments were few and far between. This week's trial was a very close call and you both could only hope the next one won’t be so on edge.
