This will be a blog just for fun! It´s a AU about my Art-Sona RetroNeko in the ZZZ World. There will be OC x Canon, there will be Polycules, there will be head canons, there will be self indulgence to the max. For AU purpose, RetroNeko will be named Umbra. I´m also not sure how much i will post here, like i said it´s just for fun and Zenless Zone Zero has me in a choke hold!

I tried a different approach with writing, this short story depicts how one of Silenos horns got broken.

"Please, I'll get you the money by the end of the week!"

Lugh Elowen left the Nightwatcher tribe after a long family conflict to pursue his dream to be a classical musician; he cut any contact with his family and denies any connection to them. Meets his future wife, Thyia Faun, in a joint concert.
24 years ago, Lugh and Thyia were 26 years old
Lugh and Thiya marry, despite the fact that Thiya's family doesn't accept a commoner like Lugh for their daughter. They also become famous musicians in the classical music field.
22 years ago, Lugh and Thyia were 28 years old
Silenos was born to Lugh Faun and Thyia Faun.
15 years ago, Lugh and Thyia were 36 and Silenos is 8 years old
Silenos won his first classical music competitions in violin and piano at the tender age of 8.
11 years ago, Silenos was 12 years old
Silenos looses his parents in the fall of the old capital; his surviving family on his mother's side took him in but abandoned him shortly after to the same orphanage Nicole was in. They never saw him as part of their family and only as a stain on their daughter's reputation.
8 years ago, was 14 years old
Silenos ran away from the orphanage and lived as a street kid for around 6 months until the "Blue Bolder" gang took him in. The 5-year-older Janus Iskariot took him under his wing, and both became pretty close. Silenos calls him his Aniki and also developed a one-sided crush on the older guy. He learns from the gang boss's right hand the martial art of capoeira.
6 years ago, Silenos was 16 years old
Janus got involved with the rival gang "Black Wing" and owes them a lot of money because he did some illegal stuff for them. He did not tell his gang about his "side hustles." Silenos finds out and believes Janus lies about being forced into it. Silenos got an expensive electric guitar as a gift from a generous man that was helped by his gang. He promised to pawn it, to help out his Aniki. They pawned it off and got part of the money for Aniki's debt. Janus promised he would get the rest of the money at the end of the week. Silenos believed him again, but Janus lied to the younger one and lost all the money from the guitar via gambling. A few days later, when both were out for errands, they got attacked by the "Black Wing" gang. Silenos got brutally beaten up, and one of his horns got broken off. His Aniki fled and was never seen again. Silenos passed out and was later found by members of his own gang. When he woke up in the hospital, he begged his gang members to take revenge, but they were only a small gang and had no chance against the rival gang.
5 years ago, Silenos was 17 years old
He met Nicole Demara again; they both fell in love and had a very intense relationship. Nicole broke up with him after Silenos messed up too much. [We´re standing at your Door]. He formed with a few gang members the band "New Pariahs".
3 years ago, Silenos was 19 years old
Silenos left after many arguments, the band "New Pariahs" and the "Blue Bolder" gang. He tried his luck as a street musician.
2 Years Ago, Silenos was 22 years old
Silenos was scouted by Ripley Sharke for their talent agency, "Nymphs of Mania".
Present Time, Silenos is 24 years old
Silenos is now a famous rock star and singer-songwriter under the agency "Nymphs of Mania". The other talents and him also work occasionally, as Hollow Raiders.

Lux is Umbras twin brother!
42 years ago, both were 8 years old.
Normal childhood and teenage years, with a loving family, a bit strict on the rules because of military background but loved by their parents.
32 years ago, both were 18 years old.
After their parents died, they joined the military. Lior's codename becomes Lux, and Chhaya's codename becomes Umbra.
22 years ago, both were 28 years old.
Lior and Chhaya have high ranks in their fields and are respected members of their divisions. Lior revolutionized the cloning process along with other high-ranking scientists. Chhaya dies in a Hollow with her entire squad. Lior fell into despair and decided to bring his sister back with cloning.
11 years ago, Lior was 39 years old.
Lior's method with cloning gets into morally questionable territory. He started to use Miasma in his experiments. Lior was one of the leading scientists that found out that Miasma could hold memories of past happenings and the deceased inside a Hollow. At first his higher-ups were very interested in this discovery, but it was labeled as too dangerous, and any more research was prohibited. He got suspended from his position after he ignored the command from the higher-ups. He still wants to bring his sister back and builds a laboratory in an abandoned Exalist facility. The old capital fell, but his hideout survived it. He did horrific experiments and jobs for the underground market that formed after the fall and met the Solanus family. They built a business partnership and funded his cloning research. Lior helped them with diverse illegal endeavors via his intel knowledge about the military. One of his first successful cloning processes was a "sibling" for their child Cerille Solanus. Shortly after this, he finally was able to create a perfect clone copy of his sister Chhaya. Project Umbra was a success.
8 years ago, Lior was 47 years old.
He had told his “sister” that she was in a coma for a long time after an incident and that she was the only survivor of her squad. He left the military to be there for her until she would wake up one day. Umbra believed him, and together they formed a small illegal Hollow Raider agency that would do jobs in the Hollows. Lior would only refer to his "sister" as Umbra and not Chhaya. Umbra had to call him Lux. Umbra only has memories until the incident in the Hollow, and her body looks like that of a 28-year-old woman. She was always confused how her sibling looked so much older than her, but Lux always told her that it was just rough for him and that the tank she was in, because of her coma, kept her physically young.
3 years ago, Lior was 50 years old.
The Agency made a name with their Hollow endeavors, and Umbra and her 4-man team had a nearly 100% success rate. Umbra's body has felt strange for a while now. Her skin often felt cold for no reason, and she got extremely painful headaches. Her 5 senses started to get extremely worse or extremely heightened. It was concerning, but she kept this from her brother to not make him worry. Umbra and her team were on a routine mission inside the Ballet Twin Hollow when they got attacked by a strong Etherial. Umbra was hit by a large amount of ether energy. Everyone was able to destroy the Etherial, but Umbra fell to her knees, panting heavily. Her body felt hot and cold. She was shivering and screaming in pain. Miasma was streaming out of her body and started to change her appearance.
Her teammates tried to help her. Umbra's body got entirely consumed by the Miasma, and she attacked her teammates one after the other until only one was left. The entire massacre was filmed because they had body cams on them. The last teammate got attacked as well but was able to kick the transformed Umbra from them and out of a window behind them. They were sure that Umbra must have died from the height she was falling down but they never checked (Intro Story ).
They got back to Lux and reported what happened while showing him the recording from the bodycam. Lux was devastated that his sister had died again while turning into, he assumed, an Etherial. In his grief he killed the last remaining team member. Since then he was more of an empty shell than a human; only grief and insanity were left inside of him.
After Intro Story:
Umbra had disguised herself as a Bangboo and met Honest in a Hollow. They became friends and founded the Muses of Eberos. Shortly after, they met Cynn, who joined them as a muse too. The last member of the Faction was Para Casamir, who is also part of Victoria Housekeeping. Umbra disguises herself as an Intelligent Construct because of her strange appearance. Only Honest and Cynn know of her true nature so far.
Present time: Lior is 50+ years old, and Umbra is 31+ years old (body age 11+).
Lux still works for the Solanus family. Rumors start to rise up in the underworld of New Eridu about a hollow raider agency with the name of "Muses of Eberos". The agency was led by an Intelligent Construct that resembled his sister after her transformation into this monstrosity. A glimmer of hope swelled up in Lux; his sister might be alive after all. So he tried to reach out to them but without success so far.

Song that inspired the Story
She was screaming, crying, and throwing everything in her reach at him. He screamed back, shielding himself from the items that were flying in his direction. Her long pink pigtails flailing around her head. Her teary eyes made her vision blurry, and she started to shove him towards her apartment door. He tried to stop her, grabbing her hands that were relentlessly pushing and shoving against his chest. She stopped, sobbing in anger, defeated, standing in front of him. He still was holding her hands, slowly losing his firm grip on them. Apologizing and trying to reason with her. She looked down, crying in silence, listening to his pleas. He sighed, raising her head with a hand under her chin. Her face was full of tears, sadness, and disappointment. It hurt to see her like this, and it hurt even more because he knew it was his fault. He kissed her forehead, promised he would better himself, like he always did. She still was quiet and did not react to any of his words. His phone rang. Annoyed, he picked up; he had to go, his boys needed him, a job that could not be done later. Apologizing that he had to leave her like this now, but he would be back tomorrow, and then they could go to her favorite noodle shop, and after he would treat her to a shopping spree. Still no reaction, but he could not stay; again, his boys needed him. He did not want to go, but he had no choice but to leave her alone.
It was the next day, standing in front of her apartment door with a big bouquet of flowers in his hand. He hummed a small melody; it belonged to their song. Smirking, he looked forward to making up for his mistake. Knocking on her door, calling Chipper for her name. Nothing. Mildly confused, he knocked again, calling out. Still nothing, he repeated it 1, 2, 3 more times, and then her door opened quietly. He looked irritated at her. Asking what was wrong, why she was not ready for their date? She did not look at him, arms crossed under her chest. He stared at her. Was she still mad at him? He started to get nervous, holding the bouquet towards her. Finally she raised her gaze towards him; he froze, her eyes, that look on her face. He gulped, smiled unsure, raised the flowers again, shoving them slightly in her. She was not moving, just looking at him with a firm gaze in her eyes.
"We are done; it's over. Please never reach out to me again."
It took him a few seconds before her words reached his brain. His fingers got cold, and he looked shocked at her. He started to ask with a shaking voice why, apologized again, promised again to be better, that it was the last time, but she was not changing her mind. He took a step towards her, and she told him to stop, but he did not listen and took another step. She yelled at him to stop. He reached with his free hand towards her, but before it could touch her, another figure appeared at her door. He looked even more confused; the other guy with spiky white hair was an Intelligent Construct. Standing behind her, not saying anything. Just his presence made it clear that he was really not welcome here anymore. He wanted to protest, trying to change her mind, but his words got stuck in his throat. Everything they had together flooded his mind; his lips started to tremble. She turned around, said his name one last time, and wished him farewell. The white-haired guy closed the door. He was staring at the shut-down door. Not able to move, not able to comprehend what just happened. His body started moved on its own after a while, walking out of the apartment complex. Just walking - aimlessly through the streets, still holding the bouquet of flowers. An old woman walked next to him and smiled at the flowers, looking with confused and empty eyes at her. She complimented the flowers, and without thinking he gave them to the old woman and walked away without saying anything. The lady shouted after him, but he did not listen.
His mind was like a hurricane trying to grasp what just happened. Memories came flooding in, mixing in with his heavy heart. He never knew what love felt like, but with her - it felt like it. For the first time he loved someone, and he ruined it.
Time passed, and he is someone different now, not a boy but a man, still unsure about love, unsure what it really meant. Still thinking from time to time of her. Regretting breaking her heart back then. He was walking at Lumina Square, walking towards his new occupation, his new "family". Walking towards a group of four people. A familiar shade of pink grazed his view, and he stopped, turning around. It was her, older now just like him. But still as beautiful as the day he met her. She was laughing, looking like she was at a good place in life. Surrounded by friends, a girl with short white hair, a black-haired cat Thiren girl, and the spiky white-haired Intelligent Construct from back then. His heart stung looking at this scene. Then she stopped in her ways, her friends still walking. Turned around, looking towards him. Their eyes meet, looking for a few minutes deep into each other. His heart skipped a beat, and he smiled contentedly at her. She smiled gently back at him. His heart ached seeing her smiling face again. He missed her, but deep down he knew it was better this way. He nodded towards her and walked away. Her friends called for her, and she shouted at them with a loud, slightly annoyed voice. He chuckled as he walked away, too afraid to look back at her. Whispering to himself quietly.
