A problem often arises when one person becomes Villian #1 in a national news story — all nuance is lost.

Once you think you know who the bad guy is, you start ignoring facts. That's when a hero is made of someone who probably doesn't deserve the title.

This whole Heard v Depp thing from the perspective of an abuse survivor really is a day by day "oh, so you wouldn't believe i was abused either" experience where people show their true colours. Really awesome litmus test of the current climate.
