Okay, so I need to first state that the biggest overall theme of Nostalgia is grief. There is something in every arc that connects itself to grief. How it happens, how it's handled, how it's distorted, etc.
And it really blows up in Crystalized. I didn't realize it until talking about it to my friends, but Crystal King's motives are incredibly similar to Lady Bone Demon in LMK. "This world is so broken, it needs to be reset."
This is why I switched out the council, and in that last drawing, that's only how the council starts. More people come and go as time passes. Like Seliel. She eventually leaves.
Some people couldn't have made the council anyway. Pythor fucking dies, Aspheera doesn't exist, I'm still considering what happens to Vangelis, I don't give a shit about Mechanic. Y'know. Normal shit.
Anyway, the kind of shit Crystal King pulls gets really damn close to succeeding, specifically because of Delara, believe it or not. Because her whole thing was trying to REWRITE reality. Post-Skybound, Ninjago is in a really weird place, and from that point, CK is putting his own plan into motion to elaborate on and modify Delara's original plan. (There's no reset in Skybound, so everything that happened is very real and permanent.)
So Sora and Arin still end up growing up alone together because of all this. Where their story goes outside of Arin trying to find his parents? I'm still working on that. I do know Arin is still going to leave the group for a while because of the parent thing, though.

All Dragons Rising characters were gonna be scrapped entirely because of the merge retcon, but I liked them way too much, so I've been busting my balls figuring out places to put them, lmaoooo.

You're 100% correct. Lloyd from the show is some fucked up creature of nature meanwhile Lloyd from the movie is just a trans girl with daddy issues, I'm glad we all agree.

Ok a couple of things.
1. Most people these days are anti Llorumi, (if they aren’t, they should probably be on a list.)
2. Lloyd x Ras is, for the most part, a shitpost ship like Cole x Cake or Lloyd x Cages.
3. The age gap of Greenflame may be gone due to Tomorrow’s tea shenanigans, but the weirdness stems from Kai being the father figure to Lloyd. (Also that 1 Green Lantern arc. Iykyk)
4. None of that shit even matters because Lloykita is the best ship in all of Ninjago
• slow burn
• very healing for Lloyd
• friends to enemies to friends to lovers
• watch the ParachutingKitten vid about it
To add to Number Three; A 14-15 year old dating someone who he knew as a 10 (or younger) year old is weird. Minor x Minor having an age gap surpassing at minimum 3 years is weird. Greenflame/Lloyd x Ninja shippers IS GROSS BECAUSE THESE TEENAGERS KNEW LLOYD SINCE/WHEN HE WAS 10.
Shipping a couple/crackship with an age gap but they met when they were legal adults is fine. SHIPPING WHEN A TEENAGER/ADULT KNEW THE YOUNGER ONE WHEN THEY WETE A YOUNG CHILD IS BAD.
