How I found about Ninjago: I watched some of the oni trilogy when it first came out and forgot abt it until 2024 June and I became infected with the Ninjago disease. I vaguely remembered Zane becoming Ice Emperor so he was my favourite and overtime he became my favourite for other reasons other than Ice Emperor.
In Ninjago, you're not allowed to have children until you've endured enough suffering in your own life and are left with the sole desire to permanently traumatize your offspring.

Caine especially would NOT be having a good time, it's quite literally his worst fear coming true. Since anstractions don't go to the cellar anymore, Caine would spend more time than ever in the aquarium to visit Dani's abstracted form while he spends long nights in his office searching for some way to fix her. When visiting Dani, he talks to her endlessly...as if she can hear him.
Ragatha would place all of the blame on herself. Should she have tried harder? Was she a bad girlfriend to Dani? It's a constant loop of the poor girl thinking of what-ifs and what she could have done to prevent this from happening. She will often just stare at the crossed out profile on Dani's door, the sight enough to make Ragatha break down right there in the hallway. Like Caine, she also likes to visit Dani though this took alot of steeling herself (and encouragement from Pomni).
Zooble...would be a mess, to put it mildly. Dani was the most important person to them, someone who they would have protected with their life. If Dani ever abstracted, Zooble would hate that they couldn't have stopped it. That they couldn't reach her in time and that they couldn't save her. Zooble might need to punch a wall or something because they're more mad at themself than at anyone else about it...they would think that they should have done more to save her. It took a long while, but Zooble eventually felt ready to visit Dani's abstracted form as well and would only then say out loud how much they miss her.
Sensei Garmadon, infamous slayer of the Great Devourer and renown hero of Ninjago, joined the side of the alliance in the days leading up to the declaration of the 2nd Serpentine War. In his words, he knew that this was the only way to achieve peace across Ninjago, and in response, many rallied with him and his allies.
But in a horrific turn of events, Garmadon volunteered to banish himself to the Cursed Realm, in the final hour of the war, as a means to vanquish the False Anacondrai Army along with him. His son Lloyd Garmadon, also known as the Green Ninja, objected to this idea initially, then later demanded to recite the banishment spell while refusing to let another take his place. This was, notably, after witnesses saw the 14-year old display an aggressive rampage across the battlefield.
To some who offered firsthand accounts, it was clear that Lloyd had used Garmadon to end the war himself.
Adding onto these voices, many reference how similar this outcome between Lloyd Garmadon and his father is to the Final Battle, where the Green Ninja was also willing to make his father the sacrifice of his "heroism".
With the chaos and accounts on hand, it's impossible to deny the possibility that this was the Lloyd's opportunity to take revenge on Garmadon for how he affected his son's early childhood. This act of cruelty may, in the eyes of Lloyd Garmadon, may simply be a case of "an eye for an eye".
"How do we know he won't just summon that portal to the Cursed Realm the next time someone inconveniences him?" asks an anonymous civilian who was witness to the horrific war scene.
Now the public is left to stir if crossing paths with the Green Ninja is now considered a deadly dare.
Earlier this year, during the battle of the Golden Master, nindroid Zane Julien, also known as the White Ninja, sacrificed his life to save Ninjago. Four days ago, he returned to Ninjago City.
On July 9th, another droid by the name of Zane Julien held a rally at the center of Ninjago City following Master Chen's Anacondrai Army's invasion of the eastern seaboard, claiming to have been "rebuilt" following his battle with the Golden Master, but while the nindroid shared the same name and a similar, but slightly more metallic appearance to our fallen hero, to many, something felt off.
"I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that my favorite ninja was back."
Patty Keys of Patty Keys Real Estate, who attended the rally on Thursday told Ninjago Daily.
"But when I watched him stand up there in front of the Titanium Ninja statue and my heart just sank. I knew Zane well, I rented an apartment to the ninja in their time of need, so believe me when I tell you that was not the Zane I knew.
According to several reports, the nindroid behavior seemed strange, as if trying to mimic that of the White Ninja.
"He looked so nervous and unsure of himself."
one anonymous rally goer told Ninjago Daily.
"It was like he was trying to convince us he was who he said he was, but it just seemed wrong. I'm still shuddering at the memory of those piercing electric blue eyes. I felt like he was staring into my soul. It was so uncanny."
These events took place just one week after Zane's tumblr [ @zane-master-of-ice ] was updated for the first time since his untimely death back in March.
On July 2nd, Zane reblogged the following post dated March 20th, only minutes before his infamous battle against the Golden Master.
"we are leaving to fight the overlord."
"whatever happens, just know that i am grateful for each and every one of you. thank you all for following me along on all of my journeys."
"and to all of my friends, my family, the time that i have spent with you has been the best of my life, and it has been an honor to fight beside each and every one of you. i love you, and good luck out there. 🤍"
He added,
"well, that did not go as well as i had hoped..."
'hello, everyone. it is good to be back. 🤍"
Since his return to social media, the nindroid has made several posts questioning the validity of his own identity as the White Ninja, though he appears to have since adopted the identity of the "Titanium Ninja" instead, which has only fueled the belief in many that he is not the same Zane that sacrificed himself for the people of Ninjago back in March.

But while Zane himself may have doubts about who he is now, there are some that still believe that he's the same loveable ninja he's always been.
Rufus McAllister, aka "Mother Doomsday" of Doomsday Comix in Ninjago City, a longtime friend of the ninja wrote,
"I'd know that tin can anywhere. It's just like in volume 34 of Space Police: Intergalactic Forces, when Officer Dayle Dangerous sacrificed himself to the Moon Goddess and came back as a mutant Star Angel. Sure, make look a little different on the outside, but on the inside, he's still the same hero we all know and love"
So, is Titanium Ninja really the same Zane Julien who's loss shattered the world earlier this year, or is he simply a replica trying to fill the shoes of our beloved fallen hero?
Ninjago Daily has reached out to the ninja team for their comments but received no reply.
