As someone who lives under a rock, it genuinely pisses me off when someone acts like I committed a hate crime when I tell them I haven’t seen a popular show or film.

No, I haven’t watched The Notebook. Yes, I’ve only seen 2 romcom movies. I genuinely could not care about a film I have never seen before and it’s cringy that people think they can peer pressure me into watching something. Especially if it’s ass when I do watch it—Nostalgia is a powerful thing and it’s blinding you.

- club field trips

Let events be public! Let characters dress up for a theme! Let them eat foods that make sense for their environment!

The fear I felt when I entered my creative writing class in sophomore year of high school; of getting the bus of realization that writing wasn’t for me, that I’d have to pick something else to do with my life; to relearn another skill, fall in love with it, and commit to it the rest of my life.

Followed by the relief that I found where I belonged.
