Bought some schmancy physical filters and comparing effects. I think they were worth it. I can always convince myself “I just need to tweak the digital filter settings more,” but it’s a lot easier to get a pleasing look with the glass.

The sky is a strange color today.

Out driving, I passed through a thunderstorm in full sunlight, each raindrop blazing bright, crystals splattering on my windshield.

As I was stuck in traffic, a bird I didn’t recognize flew across the highway. It was a raw fleshy pink, with a long thin tail and too big of a head, and its wings bent into sharp arches as it flew.

I came home and walked up the steps. The vine that grows up my doorway shuddered, a single time, with a muscle spasm.
